Few players in Oklahoma high school softball have combined consistency, production, and leadership quite like Pocola senior Kaydence Batt. A four-year varsity starter and now an All-State fast-pitch middle infielder, Batt has earned her place among the state’s elite while helping set the standard for success in the Lady Indians program.
On the field, Batt is the definition of dependable. Over her career, she has compiled a stellar .394 batting average and an impressive .456 on-base percentage, collecting 86 hits, 86 runs, and 65 RBIs across 83 varsity games. Her senior season alone showcased just how far her game has come—batting .465 with 11 doubles, 3 triples, and 4 home runs, while driving in 27 runs and scoring 43 times. Her advanced plate discipline and power at the top of the order make her as dangerous as any hitter in Class 2A.
But Batt’s impact extends well beyond her offensive numbers. In the field, she’s a commanding presence in the middle infield, combining quick instincts with smooth glove work and a fierce competitive edge. Her .810 fielding percentage highlights her range and reliability—traits that have anchored Pocola’s defense through countless tight contests.
Those skills and her relentless drive have paved the way for Batt’s next big step: continuing her softball career at the University of Tulsa, where she’s committed to join the Golden Hurricane’s Division I program. It’s the culmination of years of dedication, countless hours on the diamond, and an unwavering focus on improvement.
For her coaches and teammates, Batt’s leadership is as valuable as her stat line. She’s known for her work ethic, her encouragement, and her ability to elevate those around her—always setting the tone for what it means to play with pride in a Pocola uniform.
As she closes out her senior year, Kaydence Batt leaves behind a legacy defined by excellence, leadership, and a love for the game that continues to carry her to greater heights.
