BEGGS GOLDEN DEMONS
Coach: Jessica Driver

The Beggs High School slow-pitch softball team enters the season embracing a fresh start under head coach Jessica Driver, as the Golden Demons blend hard work with an influx of new faces eager to make an impact.
“We are a hard-working team with lots of new faces this season,” said Driver.
That mentality sets the tone for a Beggs squad focused on development, effort, and building chemistry as the season progresses. With a roster that features both experienced leadership and promising young talent, Driver believes the team’s work ethic will be the foundation for growth throughout the year.
Leading the way for Beggs is Emma Trimble, a fierce presence in the infield. The senior second baseman returns as a key leader and steady force for the Golden Demons on both sides of the ball.
“Emma Trimble is a fierce senior returning second baseman,” Driver said. “She has a strong presence on the field.” Trimble’s experience and leadership are especially valuable for a team integrating new faces, as her confidence and consistency help set expectations for the rest of the roster. Her ability to control the infield and provide stability makes her a central figure in Beggs’ lineup this season.
Another name to watch is Abigail Harmon, who has already proven herself as a difference-maker and continues to be a vital piece of the Golden Demons’ attack. Harmon returns at shortstop and brings a dangerous bat that can change games quickly.
“She’s a returning short stop, whose bat is always hot and damaging,” Driver said.
Harmon’s offensive production, combined with her defensive responsibilities at one of the most demanding positions on the field, gives Beggs a reliable contributor in pressure situations. Her consistency at the plate adds an extra layer to the Golden Demons’ offensive approach as they look to compete each time out.
With a hardworking mindset, a senior leader anchoring the infield, and an underclassman whose impact is already being felt, Beggs is focused on laying the groundwork for a successful season. While the roster may feature plenty of new faces, Driver’s confidence in her team’s work ethic and commitment remains clear.
As the season unfolds, the Golden Demons will rely on effort, leadership, and steady improvement to define their identity — one game at a time.
