Coming off a strong 2023 campaign with a 21-6 record, the Roland Runnin’ Rangers aim to build on their success in the 2024-25 season. Head coach Eddie Lewis, alongside assistants Mike Webb and Nick Mooney, has a versatile roster with a mix of experience and youth, providing depth across all positions.
“This year, we will have some experience in certain positions and a couple of talented freshmen we think will help strengthen our depth,” said Lewis. “Depth should be a plus for us with several players we believe can contribute.”
Sophomore guard Kade Shook (6-2, So.) will be a key player for Roland. Shook, who started as a freshman, excels at ball handling and passing, often involving his teammates in the offense. He’s also a strong defensive player and a consistent shooter. Another standout is freshman guard Damonte Owens (5-10, Fr.), a skilled ball handler and scorer with exceptional range that can stretch defenses. Owens is also noted for his tenacious on-ball defense, which will be a significant asset for the team.
Senior Raesean Perryman (6-2, Sr.) and junior Cason Perryman (6-2, Jr.) will provide leadership and physicality in the forward positions, while freshman Landon Fowler (6-3, Fr.) brings height and promise to the roster. Juniors Buck Triplett (5-9, Jr.) and Paul Johnson (5-9, Jr.) will add depth to the backcourt, with sophomore Asa Ulrich (6-2, So.) expected to be a solid contributor in the frontcourt.
With a combination of seasoned players and promising underclassmen, the Roland Runnin’ Rangers are poised for a successful season and look to make a deep playoff run.
