VYPE THREE RIVERS BOYS UNDERCLASSMEN TO WATCH – Presented by Nissan of Muskogee

Boys Basketball

Logan Plant & AJ Taylor – Eufaula

After putting in a lot of work in the offseason, both players have a lot of potential and could be big time players for the Ironheads.

Cooper Hackett – Fort Gibson

Hackett will be a name for opponents to watch out for. He always gives his all on the court and is not afraid to do whatever it takes for his team to be successful.

Keeton Rowe – Gore

He spent his freshman year learning to attack space with his midrange jumper and engage defenders while finishing at the rim. Defensively, he stays in the bubble creating havoc on opponents’ offense.

Traylin Reed – Muskogee

Traylin is a hybrid small forward that has the ability to defend all three guard positions and has the ability to play offensively in all three positions. He can slash and drive to the bucket, and has a nice mid-range jump shot.

Jaxson Johnson – Stigler

Jaxson has worked extremely hard this offseason and has put on muscle and improved all areas of his game.

Rylan Cash – Warner

Rylan is going to be an outstanding freshman. He can play both inside and out. He is an outstanding rebounder and defensive player.

Coby Botts – Hulbert

Coby was a freshman last year that gave Hulbert a lot of good minutes. As a player he has a height advantage, standing at six-foot-four and having a six-foot-six wingspan, he is able to cover a lot of the court

Denver Bruner – Stilwell

A very athletic young man with a good head about the game. As he grows, he will continue to see improvement in his game.

Jett Morrison – Tahlequah

Morrison is an athletic guard who plays with confidence and has a lot of grit to compete with the older upperclassmen.

Hanley Eusebio – Sequoyah Tahlequah

A solid athlete and skilled guard who saw some varsity time as a freshman. He will help run the offense and push the pace while being an active and pesky defender.

Gavin Nye – Morris

Gavin is a lanky athletic freshman that has a chance to see big minutes for Morris this year.

Cole Dodson – Okemah

A skilled player who is turning into an all-around contributor. Increased athleticism and toughness from freshman year.

Zion Shelburn – Wilson (Henryetta)

Shelburn is a left handed guard who is very savvy. He has the potential to be the leading scorer for the Wilson Tigers on any given night. He also takes the other team’s best guard as his defensive assignment.

Ben West – Heavener

Ben is a great kid and a hard worker. He has put in the time and looks to make some big contributions this season.

Romeo Gordon – Pocola

Romeo is a six-foot-three freshman with a massive wingspan and a tremendous upside. He is a hard worker who will help Pocola this year, but will be a matchup nightmare in the future.

Brodi Nickell – Sallisaw

A high motor defender, Nickell is a tough player that always gives it his all when he is on the court.
