KATE PIPPENGER
Eufaula Lady Ironheads
A four-year talent in the Lady Ironheads softball lineup, Kate Pippenger lets her actions do all the talking. A constant threat at the plate, the 2025 senior who wears jersey number five has delivered a .612 batting average with 50-plus hits including 22 for extra bases as well as blasting four home runs while producing 30 RBI as well as 20-plus stolen bases as the Class 2A playoffs continued. With her glove, Kate covers the infield with prowess and agility at shortstop with a .906 fielding percentage. Altogether, the play of Pippenger helped lead Eufaula to a return trip to the Class 3A fastpitch softball state championship tournament for a second straight year..
Even more than the statistics, it’s an every day in every way leadership style that best defines the contributions of the multi-sport Eufaula senior.
“Kate is a shining example of the true character of our program,” said head coach Ryan Green. “Both on and off the field, she as well as Maddie (Ballard), Jadence (Effurd) and Kadie Jo (Tidwell) have embraced the team first mentality and our underclassmen have jumped right on board.”
