Scout Smith – Arkoma
Division two talent with a long frame to be a great receiver at the next level. Top of his class academically, which will make it easy for coaches to recruit him. Quiet personality with the ability to lead.
Ryan Grayson – Beggs
Grayson holds offers from Arkansas, Kansas State, Kansas, and UNLV. He is an outstanding athlete and a hard worker.
Camden Owl – Cave Springs
Camden is the heart of the Hornet’s team. He did a lot throughout the entire season last year on offense, defense and special teams. He is somebody that will impact the game in one of those categories.
Elijah Thomas – Checotah
The University of Oklahoma commit, Elijah had 1,197 yards receiving, 1,768 all purpose yards and 20 touchdowns. He also had 89 tackles on defense and two interceptions ran back for touchdowns.
Dominic Celestine – Dewar
A three-year starter on both sides of the ball. Dominic is a very physically dominating player with great size and good speed. He is a very good leader, leading by example every day on and off the field. He loves to play defense and he is the leader of the defensive unit, a role of which he embraces.
Carson Luna – Eufaula
Carson is a three-year starter that will provide a ton of leadership on the field. He loves the weight room and the challenges of being a lineman. He is being recruited by several area D2 schools.
Stevie Vafaes – Fort Gibson
Stevie is a left tackle on offense and a defensive end on defense. He was one of the top players last season as just a sophomore. He gained even more explosion and absolutely dominated at Pittsburg State Team Camp this summer.
Caden Cowan – Gore
He is the first one to practice and the last one to leave. Cowan is a team leader on and off the field, has a great work ethic, and is a football junkie. He is a good student in the classroom and has a great rapport with his teammates.
Jaxon Armstrong – Heavener
He caught 48 passes last year for 559 yards and also ran for over 1,000 yards. He can do just about anything and is ready to help his team however he can.
Jordyn Miller – Henryetta
Miller is a lineman on both sides of the ball, starting both ways the last two season as a sophomore. Over the last two seasons, he has recorded 15.5 sacks, causing most opposing teams to run the ball away from him.
Mason Forhan – Hilldale
He was the Hornets’ team MVP last season, leading the offensive line in pancake blocks. Mason was equally productive on the defensive side of the ball, tallying 78 tackles, 13 for loss, six sacks, four recovered fumbles, and three caused fumbles.
Dusty Tedder – Hulbert
Dusty is a four year starter for Hulbert. He plays on both sides of the ball and gives his best effort in practice and on the game field. His leadership skills bring a lot to the program.
Treveon Guthrie – Keys
Treveon is an intelligent and tough player that plays through everything. He stays level headed in pressure situations. On offense he is talented enough to play at any skill position, and on defense he plays like a guy twice his size.
Teaguen Collins – Muldrow
Teaguen has excelled both on and off the field for a few years. He holds a 4.12 GPA in the classroom as a three sport athlete. He led the football team in receptions, receiving yards, return yards, and interceptions.
Jamrian Ficklin, PJ Wallace, Miguel Chavez, & Ondraye Beasley – Muskogee
These are four outstanding athletes that are looking to defend their Class 6A-II state championship. They will be the leaders of a solid squad of players.
James Beasley – Okemah
James is a tremendous athlete with excellent speed. He looks to have a strong season on the field.
Nolan Yates – Okmulgee
Nolan is an all around athlete that can make huge plays in all three phases of the game.
Caleb Brewer – Panama
Caleb had a fantastic year at running back last season. He rushed for over 1,000 yards in his junior campaign. He is a fantastic teammate and is poised to once again make some noise in the backfield.
Aj Lyons-Jerrell – Pocola
AJ has been the main catalyst in Pocola going on a three-year playoff run. He will look to go over 6,000 yards of total offense this year. He should also be a key contributor on the defensive side at linebacker.
Bradyn Israel – Porter
Bradyn is an outstanding quarterback that has a good size and frame. He threw for over 2,000 yards last season. He will have a solid group of playmakers around him that should help him increase those numbers.
Tyler Fassio – Poteau
Tyler is a solid football player and also an incredible young man. This will be his third year to start at inside linebacker and he continues to get better and better each year.
Dalton Crossno – Roland
Dalton is a very good all around football player. He has excelled at everything coaches have asked him to do. He is a player that can be trusted to get the job done and make big plays happen.
Jalen Handle – Sequoyah Tahlequah
Returning starter that was a major piece to the team’s success in 2023. Jalen looks to continue the success this year. He will be a two-way player with great character and is a hard worker. He is also a leader among his teammates.
Brycen Graham – Spiro
Brycen is a key player on both sides of the ball. He had a great season last year and is expected to have an even bigger impact this season.
Houston Perry – Stigler
Houston is a huge part of the Stigler offense as a tight end. As a tight end, he does everything he is called on to do. He is a great blocker, with really good hands and a good understanding of the offense. He is a three year starter at inside linebacker and is one of the leaders on that side of the ball.
Kason Dowty – Stilwell
Three year starter on defense and he will be a two way starter this year. Also an outstanding punter with a strong leg.
Beckett Robinson – Tahlequah
Robinson had a tremendous junior season even though he missed five games due to injury. He has an opportunity to become the schools all time leading receiver. In the six games he played last season, he had 41 receptions, 722 receiving yards, and seven touchdowns. He also added 18 carries for 135 yards and two scores.
Masyn Wright and Draighton Fletcher – Vian
Masyn is the leader of the team and a future D1 athlete. Draighton can fly and is a great high school football player. Both young men will be key players for the Wolverines this season.
Alex Shieldnight and Kale Charboneau – Wagoner
Alex holds the career sack school record, is a dominant player, and has committed to the University of Oklahoma. Kale holds the single season pass yardage record, has started in 28 games, and is a great player and teammate.
Lubbock Drake – Warner
Lubbock has been a four year starter for the Eagles at the linebacker position. He is a kid with major ball instincts and always finds a way to be around the ball. He is physical at the point of attack and has a way of jumping through people once he gets there.
Aiden Turley – Webbers Falls
Big strong framed kid who looks the part and plays the part really well. He was a punishing blocker last year and he will be called upon this year to carry the ball a lot more often. He will also anchor the defense and play the strong side linebacker.
Isaac and Isaiah Drake – Weleetka
Isaac is a skilled athlete that rushed for 994 yards last season with 13 touchdowns. He also had 1,311 receiving yards with 20 touchdowns. At quarterback, Isaiah threw for 2,833 yards and 42 touchdowns, ending with a 67% completion percentage. He also rushed for 505 yards and seven scores. Both will be impact players this season.
Phillip Ross – Wetumka
Phillip is a big body that moves the line of scrimmage each play, He is an extremely physical player that operates with great technique. Not only does he excel in the trenches but when a play is being stretched out and extended he plays very well in space. Phillip is the kind of player where offensive coordinators have to plan for.
