TAHLEQUAH AREA

QB:  Jalen Handle – Sequoyah Tahlequah

Although questionable due to an early summer injury, the Tigers field general would bring experience to the field where he passed for 1607 yards and 13 scores last year as a junior.

RB: Jake Girty – Tahlequah

As the workhorse in the Tigers ground game, the junior running back makes the most of his bullish strong body to pick up needed yardage to move the chains.

WR: Beckett Robinson – Tahlequah

By the end of the 2024 season, the elusive talent will become the school record holder for receiving yards. Battling injuries last season, Robinson still totaled 41 receptions for 722 yards.  A two-way starter, Robinson effectively patrols the secondary against the pass and run.

OL:  Garrett Murphy – Keys

A two-way starter for the Cougars, Murphy brings explosiveness to the trenches to control play on the line of scrimmage.

DL:  Kingston Hall – Tahlequah

Standing strong at 6-3 and 266 pounds, Hall wrecked opposing offenses for 6.0 sacks during his sophomore season and gives the Tigers plenty of muscle in the defensive front for the 2024 campaign.

LB:  Marley Moore – Sequoyah Tahlequah

After totaling 113 tackles including 11 for minus yardage and five sacks, Moore makes his physical presence knownthrough contact..

DB:  Hudson Hendricks – Sequoyah Tahlequah

A true headhunter in the defensive backfield, Hendricks grabbed six pass interceptions while recording 127 tackles last season as a freshman. The kicking specialist who booted a 42-yard field goal will see action at receiver in 2024.
