OUTLOOK
Questions remain to be answered for the fall campaign as Stilwell returns to the diamond on the heels of a 23-9 campaign. A quartet of seniors is tabbed to lead the way this year including a veteran defensive middle lineup that understands the importance of defense. Brycee Thomas (C, Sr.) returns behind the plate along with Katelyn Wilson (SS, Sr.) and Kenzie Starr (CF, Sr.). Confidence and talent will defend the “hot corner” at third base with Avery Knight (3B, Sr.) set to return. One question was answered midsummer as Steve Cochran becomes the Lady Indians head coach. In addition to the senior experience, the new skipper will have other players returning to the roster who have game time experience including a three-year starter Taylee Sawney (P, Jr.), Ava Swafford (2B, So.) Bailey Birdtail (RF, Jr.), Aspyn Cochran (1B, So.), Ashlyn Fuller (LF, Jr.), Jaselyn Chastain (1B/OF, So.), Macee Burns (OF, So.), Rachel Morgan (OF, So.) and Miley Burns (OF, Fr.).
