OUTLOOK

The Lady Indians return to the field this season with a highly experienced team, led by standout players Emma Culie and Rylee Bush. “Both ladies are very good players and also great leaders,” head coach Jeff Turtle said. “They are being recruited to play at the next level.” Considered by most to be among the best teams in Class 3A, the Lady Indians will aim to build on last year’s success bringing back a dynamic core group of players that made the state tournament. “We made the state tournament last year. We have a good nucleus back this year to try and make another run,” Turtle added.

The team will look to Emma and Rylee to lead the charge offensively and the Lady Indians’ defense will be anchored by senior Macy McCrary. “One of the four seniors we have, Macy has been starting since her freshman year. She plays multiple positions for us and will do anything asked of her,” Turtle said. The defense will rely on its experienced players to provide stability and leadership. McCrary’s versatility and commitment make her a key component of the team’s defensive strategy. Watch for this talented team as they take on a tough road in Class 3A to reach the state tournament again in October.
