The Central Sallisaw Lady Tigers are gearing up for another successful season with hopes of building on last year’s impressive 19-6 record. Head coach Shane Brown is optimistic about his team’s potential, noting the experience and skill they bring to the court.

“This is an experienced team that should improve throughout the season,” said Brown. “We are looking at making a deep playoff run.”

Leading the charge for the Lady Tigers is junior forward Cambree Bair (5-8, Jr.), who is just 215 points away from reaching the 1,000-point milestone for her high school career. Known for her quickness, ball-handling skills, and ability to score, Bair is also a strong defender and a proven leader on the court.

Senior Haley Cheek (5-9, Sr.) will play a key role in the post position, providing strength and stability under the basket. Fellow seniors Hadlie Woods (5-6, Sr.), Ayrland Jiles (5-6, Sr.), and Ryleigh Pierce (5-4, Sr.) bring leadership and versatility to the guard positions, helping to anchor the Lady Tigers’ experienced backcourt.

Junior forward Cheyenne Busch (5-8, Jr.) adds depth to the forward rotation, complementing Bair with her athleticism and defensive presence. Meanwhile, sophomore guard Paris Campbell (5-4, So.), described by Coach Brown as “quick and athletic,” is expected to have a breakout season. Campbell’s hard work and determination have positioned her to be a significant contributor for the Lady Tigers.

The team also features a promising group of freshmen, including Alexxus Bolin (5-6, Fr.), Zoey Lattimore (5-4, Fr.), and Alivia Meadows (5-8, Fr.), all of whom are poised to provide depth and energy throughout the season.

With a roster full of talent and experience, the Lady Tigers are set to be an exciting team to watch as they aim to gel as a unit and make a strong playoff push.
