MULDROW LADY BULLDOGS
COACH: Jana Armer
Record: 19-10
OUTLOOK
The Muldrow Lady Bulldogs enter the upcoming season with a strong sense of continuity and momentum under longtime head coach Jana Armer, who returns for her 26th year leading the program. With a battle-tested lineup and a core group back from last year’s 19–10 squad, expectations remain high. “We have a really good core back from last year, we return three starters and several players that had quality minutes last season,” said Armer.
Headlining the roster is senior forward Kayla Ellingberg (5-11, Sr.), who averaged 8.0 points and 6.0 rebounds per game. Ellingberg continues to grow her game and has drawn significant college attention. “Kayla is a post girl that can run the floor. She is a force on the offensive end and has really made big strides this summer,” Armer said. “She has been contacted by Oklahoma Christian University, Oklahoma Wesleyan University, William Woods University and Johnson County Community College.”
Joining her is senior point guard London Hardin (5-5, Sr.), another Top 100 candidate who brings leadership and poise to the floor. After averaging 7.3 points and 3.1 rebounds, Hardin’s value extends well beyond scoring. “London is the ultimate point guard,” Armer said. “She does not care one bit if she scores a single point as long as we get the win. She is a leader for us; she knows how to run her team.”
Sophomore guard Kilah Ellingberg (5-8, So.), Muldrow’s underclassman to watch, averaged 7.1 points and 5.1 rebounds. “Kilah started last year as a freshman, and we are looking for bigger things from her this year,” Armer said. “She is one of the most athletic girls in our area, she can defend anyone. Kilah can get to the goal just about any time she wants to and has already started getting attention from colleges. She is going to be a great player.”
Rounding out the roster are senior forward Gracie Prewett (5-10, Sr.), senior guard Jaydin Dean (5-6, Sr.), and junior guard Emma Fields (5-3, Jr.), all returning contributors who strengthen the rotation. Armer praised Prewett in particular: “Gracie is absolutely the best kid in our school… You will not find a better representative of a player with great character than Gracie Prewett.”
