HEAVENER LADY WOLVES
COACH: Noah Davis
Record: 7–20
OUTLOOK
After a challenging 7-20 season where wins were hard to come by, the Heavener Lady Wolves are entering the 2025-26 campaign with renewed optimism under second-year head coach Noah Davis. “We will be pretty young with the majority of our team being freshman and sophomores. Coming off of a 7-20 season where we weren’t expected to win a game gives us high hopes for the upcoming season,” Davis said. He believes the team has room to grow and the potential to make a significant leap. “I think we have a shot to double our win total and have a shot to get into the area tournament,” he added.
Leading the Lady Wolves is sophomore forward and Top 100 nominee Mia Billings (5-11, So.), who had a standout freshman campaign. “Mia Billings practically lives in the gym coming off of an impressive freshman season. I have high expectations for her for the upcoming season,” Davis said. He highlighted her versatility and impact on both ends of the floor. “In the 2024-2025 season she averaged 10.1 ppg, 8 rpg, 2 steals per game. She was chosen to the Black Diamond All Conference Team. She is a versatile big that provides a great presence around the rim on the offensive and defensive side of the floor,” he added.
Supporting Billings and bringing valuable experience is senior Taylee Baker (5-7, G) and junior Jaiklyn Rogers (5-7, G), along with a strong group of freshmen including Tori Hill (5-6, G), Lanie Faulkenberry (5-7, G), Anniston Cartright (5-10, F), Ember Stacy (5-6, G), and Kambrie Oliver (5-6, G). Sophomore Zaid May (5-7, G) and Paisley Coffey (5-6, G) round out the roster, giving the Lady Wolves depth and balance across positions.
With a young but promising roster, senior leadership in key spots, and a standout performer in Billings, Davis’s Lady Wolves are focused on building a culture of growth, competitiveness, and resilience. The program’s goal is clear: improve daily and push for a breakthrough season. “We have high hopes for the upcoming season,” Davis emphasized, signaling optimism for the Heavener faithful as they watch this young team take the next step.
