Three Rivers Area Football and Softball Underclassmen to Watch List – Presented by Indian Capital Technology Center

Football

Cayson Chambers – Arkoma

An athlete that has the ability to be explosive on both sides of the football. Cayson is very football savvy.  

Jason Nethon – Beggs

Jason brings a lot of talent to the football field. With continued work, he is going to be a good player.  

Jayden Jones – Cave Springs

Sophomore that has the ability to help the team out on the line with blocking and also  catching the ball down the field. He has the skills to play on the defensive line or linebacker on defense.  

Cole Rolland – Checotah

A freshman, Rolland is an outstanding athlete that is not afraid to put in the hard work and also has the ability to play any number of positions on both sides of the ball. 

Peyton Kilhoffer – Dewar

A phenomenal young quarterback, Peyton has a chance to be a big time player if he continues to progress in the way he already has as a young athlete. He can really spin the ball down the field. He is solid in the short game as well. He also is a very deceiving runner who follows his blocking and has the ability to make plays with his feet. 

Logan Plant – Eufaula

Logan tore his rotator cuff last season during the first week of practice. He tried to play but it was just too much pain. Logan has a solid frame and a tremendous wing span and large hands. He can catch and move very well. He has had an excellent spring ball camp. 

Brody Hansen – Fort Gibson

Brody is a sophomore and is an outstanding wide receiver. He had 22 catches for 593 yards and six touchdowns as a freshman. He tore his meniscus in his knee during a scrimmage and played all last season on the injury and still was only 170 yards away from the school receiving record for the season.  

Devon Mannon – Gore

High motor player, Mannon has a high IQ for football. He loves contact. Devon started as a freshman at linebacker and led the team in tackles with 89.  

Willie Dehart – Heavener

Willie looks to be one of Heavener’s starting inside linebackers along with playing some running back. A great kid who will be a player and leader as he grows up in the program.  

Damon Arthur – Henryetta

Damon has put in a lot of hard work in the offseason. While he may not know exactly where he will play right now, no doubt he will be on the field because of his abilities and work ethic.

Talon Schaffer – Hilldale

Talon is a great leader and is ready to get better every single day. He had to play four games at quarterback last year as a freshman and will compete for the starting job this spring.  

Ryder Davis – Keys

Ryder has a chance to be the Cougars’ quarterback this year. If he is not the quarterback, he will play receiver. He also has a chance to get a lot of playing time on defense at safety. He is a good student, a hard worker, and a great person.  

Payton Lang – Muskogee

Lang is an outstanding student that has an excellent arm and is very athletic. He will look to be a big contributor to the Roughers this season. 

Emanuel Tomlin – Okemah

Tomlin brings speed and agility to the field and he will look to use those talents to help his team be successful however he can. 

Josiah Colbert – Okmulgee

The young man has a sixth sense for football. He also has a great personality on and off the field.  

Chris Gray – Panama

Chris has shown himself to be a real up and comer on both sides of the ball. He had a fantastic spring and really showed well at a team camp in Sallisaw. He will be a fun Razorback to watch and he looks to contribute this season.  

Garrett Bobst – Pocola

Garrett played some as a freshman and did a good job on both sides of the ball last season. He also scored his first high school touchdown. He is a strong kid in the weight room with great speed, vision, and has an excellent burst. 

Caston Fox – Poteau

Caston is a sophomore with unlimited potential. He has a chance to help Poteau on both sides of the football. He will play running back and quarterback on offense and safety on the defensive side of the ball.  

Jayden Fancher – Roland

Jayden is very strong and athletic for his age and size. He will look to make an impact on the field.

Kenyon Hill – Sallisaw

Kenyon played quite a bit last year as a freshman running back. Look for him to have a great sophomore season. 

Hudson Hendricks – Sequoyah Tahlequah

Hudson was the leading tackler and interception leader on defense a year ago. He will be a big part of the offense this year as he will start as an outside wide receiver. With his work ethic and ability, he has good things ahead in his future. 

Mason Thompson – Stigler

Mason is projected to play a lot of offensive line and defensive line this season. Mason is a strong kid that moves real well.  

Chase Benham – Stilwell

A three-sport athlete with good size and speed. Very coachable, smart, and tough. Led the team in sacks as a freshman.  

Xaxton Carshall – Tahlequah

He started 11 games last season at strong safety. He had 84 tackles, one tackle for loss, two  interceptions, and six pass break ups. He is a physical football player, that is coachable and has a desire to be the best he can be.  

Demariaun Antwine – Warner

Antwine is a bright young football standout in the making. The sophomore has great feet, great hands, and is scary with the ball in his hands in space. He is looking to be an impact player in the next few years. 

Softball Underclassmen

Leah Green – Eufaula

Leah is a freshman and will be looking to pick up the majority of innings in the circle this year. She has had a pretty successful junior high campaign and is hoping to contribute to her team at the varsity level. She is a true utility fielder who swings it pretty well and can really run the bases. 

Sophie O’Connor – Gore

Sophie will be playing in the outfield this season. She is one of Gore’s returning starters from last year. She swings the bat well, has great speed on the bases, and a high softball IQ. She had a .356 batting avg. last year as a freshman. 

Izzy Young – Haskell

Izzy did a great job at first base last year and she looks to only get better. Her reaction time and ability to pick balls out of the dirt make her a definite asset to the team. As a hitter, she has the ability to stay in the moment and not overthink the situation.  

Kristy Shadwick – Heavener

Sophomore pitcher that will get more time in the circle this year and bat at the top of the lineup.  

Gracie Conrad – Hulbert

Gracie puts in work in practice and is always showing improvement. She has a great work ethic as a young student athlete and is always working to get better at everything she does. She is definitely an underclassmen to watch and has a bright future ahead of her.  

Payton Zodrow – Keys

Payton had a huge impact as a freshman and has goals to exceed those freshman numbers. She is a kid that can run and cause havoc on the bases for opposing teams. Her athleticism gives her coaches flexibility defensively and offensively as well. She can hit for average and find herself on base, but also possesses the ability to hit the ball out of the yard.  

Paige Hall – Morris

She plays competitive ball and is ready as a true freshman to step in and play wherever she is needed.  

Ke’Lashia Smith – Muskogee

Ke’Lashia is one of six freshmen coming in and this group will all make contributions to the team. She will start behind the plate and will make an immediate impact. She is fast on the bases and also in her willingness to learn. She has soaked up everything that her coaches have thrown at her. 

Kaylee Brady – Panama

Brady is a freshman pitcher and third baseman that could be a middle of the order bad and help out in the circle.

Adrianna Mills – Pocola

An athletic lefty with a lot of potential who is eager for her first chance at varsity experience.

Ashlyn Crowder – Porum

Ashlyn is a versatile player. She is quick, athletic and can get the job done.  

Emma Walker – Poteau

Rookie of the year last year as a freshman. Walker started at shortstop and was one of the leading hitters on a Class 4A state tournament team. 

Addyson Clark – Roland

Addyson is a hard worker that loves the game of softball. She is ready to do whatever she can to help her team be successful. 

Marlee Bracken – Stigler

Marlee is a freshman and will be able to contribute at the plate and in the field right away. She will be a consistent hitter with a high on base percentage.  

Maya Renshaw – Wagoner

She is an outstanding athlete that is very capable at the plate or in the field. She is versatile in the field and can play outfield or infield.  

Tallon Ashmore – Warner

Ashmore is a dynamic third baseman that had a fielding percentage of .921 as a freshman. She was successful at the plate as well. She is a leader on and off the field with 4.0 GPA. She is a mentor to younger players and a role model also.
