Stigler heads into the 2026 season believing a more experienced roster can return the Panthers to the Class 3A playoff picture. Second-year head coach Johnny Easttom said a large group of returning skill players, along with key newcomers and a better understanding of the system, has the program moving in the right direction. Easttom also serves as defensive coordinator, joined by offensive coordinator Kevin Wilkett and assistants Kelby Self, Dwight Carey, Cord Crase and Bruce Engle.
The Panthers return six offensive starters and will operate from a spread attack built around the running game. Junior Graham Easttom (6-1, 190), a coach’s kid and three-year starter dating to his freshman season at Elk City, shifts from quarterback to slot/running back after totaling 987 rushing yards, 452 passing yards and 202 receiving yards despite missing two games. Junior Bryler Honeycutt (6-3, 175), also a three-year starter, takes over at quarterback after throwing for 945 yards in just four games last season.
Senior left tackle Dalton Wilkett (6-6, 315) returns as a three-year starter, while junior Lawson Rivenbark (6-4, 290) is back at right tackle. Senior tight end Logan Plant (6-5, 215) transfers from Eufaula after catching 25 passes for 400 yards, and senior receiver Landon Blizzard (6-3, 190) returns after posting 32 receptions for 425 yards. Easttom and senior Rudy Martinez (5-7, 165) will share running back duties.
Defensively, six starters return in a 3-4 scheme. Easttom moves to safety after recording 62 tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss and an interception. Honeycutt returns at cornerback after totaling 33 tackles and four interceptions. Wilkett contributed 22 tackles, 3.5 tackles for loss and a sack, while junior linebacker Nicholas Sullivan (5-10, 185) added 38 tackles and 4.5 tackles for loss. Senior safety Grady Kettles (5-9, 160) recorded 48 tackles and an interception, and junior nose guard Trevor Reavis (6-5, 380) finished with 36 tackles, four tackles for loss and a sack. Plant and senior outside linebacker Colt Falconer (6-2, 200) provide size and athleticism on the edge.
Stigler opens Aug. 28 at Panama before games against Kingston, Hilldale, Heritage Hall, Verdigris, Inola, Perkins-Tryon, Bristow, Locust Grove and Muldrow as the Panthers pursue a return to the postseason.
