WEBBERS FALLS WARRIORS
Coach: TRENT HOLT
6-5
Webbers Falls heads into the 2026 season with confidence after a 6-5 year, returning the core of its offense and defense under 10th-year head coach Trent Holt. The Warriors know they must replace a few key pieces, but Holt believes the returning nucleus and internal competition will give this group everything it needs to put together another successful season. With continuity in the staff and system plus proven production at quarterback and receiver, Webbers Falls expects to be dangerous again in Class C.
Offensively, the Warriors will spread the field and lean on a quick passing game, throwing it short while picking their spots to take deep shots and pairing that with gap-scheme runs. Senior quarterback Brutus Robinson (5-9, 155) is back after a huge junior season in which he threw for 1,800 yards and 22 touchdowns and added 614 rushing yards and 15 scores, making him one of the top dual-threat playmakers in the class. Senior wide receiver Gunner Shelby (5-9, 155) returns as Robinson’s primary target after hauling in 49 catches for 979 yards and eight touchdowns, and the offense will again run heavily through that quarterback-receiver connection. With five offensive starters back and a scheme designed to get the ball out quickly into space, Webbers Falls plans to be efficient, explosive and difficult to match up from sideline to sideline.
Defensively, the Warriors will base out of a 3-2 gap-control scheme, stressing discipline, assignment soundness and each defender owning his responsibility based on keys and reads. Shelby doubles as a standout safety and defensive leader, getting the unit lined up correctly and coming off a monster season with 120 tackles and six interceptions on the back end. With seven defensive starters returning and the staff emphasizing everyone “being in their place” within the structure, Webbers Falls expects this group to be steady, opportunistic and capable of flipping momentum with takeaways.
