GOLF
Drake Kanuch – Ada
Drake is a junior playing his third year of varsity golf. He has already won one tournament and is expected to win several more over the next few seasons. A very hard worker with an excellent work ethic, he is always looking to get better. Colleges should keep a close eye on him, as he has the potential to become a very good college golfer.
Kash Rogers – Ada
Kash is a junior who works hard at becoming a better player. As he has grown and gotten stronger, his golf game has improved a great deal. He is poised to have a really solid season.
Couper Rogers – Ada
Couper is a high-character person and the only senior on the team. He is looking to play in his fourth state tournament this year. Coaches expect him to have a strong final season and to lead by example.
Bennett Posey – Amber-Pocasset
Bennett is a junior who will hold the number one spot for Amber-Pocasset this year. He has matured over the offseason and shaved several strokes from his game. A true leader on and off the course, he sets the tone for the team.
JC Harris – Amber-Pocasset
JC is a poised freshman who plays with composure beyond his age. He does not get rattled under pressure and is always trying to improve. JC spends much of his time off on the course, which shows in his development.
Kaden Waldrop – Arapaho-Butler
Kaden is a two-year starter who has played a valuable role the past two seasons, including a state appearance in 2025. He is very capable on the golf course, and the staff is looking for him to add more consistency to his game this year. Coaches are expecting big things from him this season.
Trey Carlisle – Arapaho-Butler
Trey is a freshman who the staff is expecting big things from this year. He already has competitive golf experience and has worked hard to improve his game. His early dedication suggests a bright future.
Jiles Southall – Arapaho-Butler
Jiles is an outstanding golfer and an even better young man. He works extremely hard in all of his sports and in the classroom. His effort and character make him a leader for the program.
Ty James – Atoka
Ty has grown up on the golf course, playing with older kids and adults for many years. Competing with better players has pushed him to keep improving, and he has become a solid, creative golfer who knows how to save shots around the course. He has already shown he can win and compete in tournaments, and now the focus is on staying mentally locked in for all eighteen holes. Ty has the tools to play at the next level, and his coaches want to see that mental side of his game continue to grow.
Carter Holding – Blanchard
Carter is entering his senior year and has been a great leader for Blanchard. He was part of an academic state championship team in 2025 and is now in his third year inside the top five bags. Carter represents the Lion way both on and off the course.
Braxton Turner – Blanchard
Braxton is a sophomore who has been working hard to refine his game and become a better golfer. With his improvement, it would not be surprising to see him move into the top three bags. He is expected to play a big role in the team’s success this season.
Luke Young – Blanchard
Luke is a great young man who understands his role as a leader. Even if he is not in a top bag, he still leads the underclassmen and shows them the right and wrong ways to do things. He plays a huge role in how the team operates both on and off the course.
Harrison Shaw – Booker T. Washington
Harrison finished first individually at the Class 5A state tournament last season and became the first golfer in school history to win a state title. He has won many high-level tournaments, including multiple OSSAA-sanctioned events, and has been nationally recognized for his performance. Harrison continues to compete at a high level and is committed to the University of Memphis, where he will play college golf. His talent, work ethic, and composure suggest he will remain a force in the game for years to come.
Ty Aston – Bristow
Ty is a talented freshman whom the coaches expect to have a breakout year. He has already shown impressive consistency for a first-year high school player. With a strong short game and a solid mental approach, he is poised to be a reliable contributor for the team.
Ross Wyant – Chisholm
Ross is coming off a strong sophomore campaign in which he finished in the top ten at state. He has higher goals for his junior year and is working hard to reach them. His experience and competitiveness make him a key player for Chisholm.

Kael League – Chisholm
Kael is an incoming freshman with a lot of upside in his game. He has already posted several rounds under par in middle school and summer tournaments where he competes at a high level. His talent and early success suggest a very promising future.

Dane Deterding – Chisholm
Dane is a sophomore from a great family and is already a very good golfer. He brings significant upside to the program and is looking to have an outstanding second year. Coaches are excited to see how far he can go.

RJ Roberts – Comanche
RJ has been the number one bag for Comanche the last few years. A senior and three-time state tournament qualifier, he finished in the top ten at the Class 3A state tournament last year. RJ provides leadership and maturity for a young team and sets the standard for the group.
Easton Bowen – Comanche
Easton really came into his own as a freshman last year. He won a varsity tournament at Lake Murray and finished in the top fifteen at the Class 3A state tournament. Still relatively new to the game, he continues to learn more each week, and coaches are expecting big things from him this season.
Jaxon Davis – Cordell
Jaxon is a freshman and one of the most well-rounded and athletic students at Cordell High School. He starts in football, basketball, and baseball, and has already made an impact in golf, placing in every junior high tournament last season and finishing fifth in his first high school event this fall. He has played competitive golf since age five and spends countless hours at the course with his cousins, often playing multiple rounds each week. With his versatility, work ethic, and competitive drive, Jaxon is poised to be a cornerstone of the Cordell golf program for years to come.
Connor Gregg – Cordell
Connor is a sophomore three-sport athlete at Cordell, competing in football, golf, and baseball. He brings strong competitiveness and determination to perform at a high level. Although still developing his golf experience, he has natural athleticism, learns quickly, and works relentlessly. His potential and versatility give him a real opportunity to become a key varsity contributor in the near future.
Corben Dobbs – Cordell
Corben is a senior and three-year letterman who provides experience and leadership for the Cordell golf team. He is a trusted mentor for younger players thanks to his knowledge of the game and steady presence. Off the course, he ranks near the top of his class academically, serves as a volunteer firefighter, is an officer in FFA, and plays baseball. Corben’s character, leadership, and commitment to service make him an integral part of the school and community.
Reid Vance – Cushing
Reid is a great kid who will step into a leadership role for Cushing this season. He brings a positive attitude and work ethic to every round. His teammates look to him for stability and guidance.
Kyler Claxton – Cushing
Kyler is a hard worker who leaves everything out on the course. He is focused on continual improvement and competing with confidence. His effort and attitude make him an important part of the lineup.
Presten Jensen – Cushing
Presten gives one hundred percent whether he is in the classroom or on the course. He is committed to doing things the right way and improving every day. His consistency and effort set a strong example for others.
Sam Wood – Dover
Sam is a senior who has improved tremendously since his freshman year. He is a diligent worker who even creates his own practice plans during the offseason while his coach is busy with basketball. Sam has aspirations of playing at the college level, and his coach is looking forward to a big year from him.
Braden Gable – Duke
Braden has been the number one bag since he started high school golf at Duke and has worked hard to keep improving. He has spent countless hours on the course and range refining his game. Braden is the captain of the basketball team and is in the running to be valedictorian of his class. He plans to attend college next year and major in sports business.

Grady Thompson – Edmond Santa Fe
Grady is the team MVP because of the consistency, leadership, and competitiveness he brings every day. As the varsity number one bag, he sets the standard in both practice and tournaments and proved he can compete at the highest level by finishing eleventh at the Class 6A state championship last season. He has verbally committed to Iowa State to play college golf, which reflects his talent, dedication, and character. Grady leads by example, stays composed under pressure, and gives the team confidence every time he tees it up.
Ben Pennington – Edmond Santa Fe
Ben is the underclassman to watch thanks to the impact he has already made as a freshman. He has shown maturity beyond his years through his work ethic, coachability, and competitive mindset. Ben made meaningful contributions to the team this fall and continues to improve with every round. His confidence, consistency, and willingness to learn make him a key piece of the program’s future.

Ben Stroman – Edmond Santa Fe
Ben is the Character Counts player because he consistently represents the program the right way on and off the course. As a senior, he leads through sportsmanship, integrity, and respect for teammates, opponents, and officials. He is dependable, team-first, and maintains a positive attitude in every situation, whether playing or supporting others. Ben’s leadership has shaped the team culture and made him a true role model for younger players.
Cale Porter – Empire
Cale is poised to have a solid year on the course. He brings steady play and a good attitude to each tournament. His reliability will be important for Empire.
Junior Seward – Empire
Junior started playing golf last year as a freshman and has made big strides since then. Over the offseason, his game has progressed significantly. He is expected to take another step forward this year.
Angus Burns – Fort Cobb-Broxton
Angus finished seventh at the state tournament as a sophomore last year and has established himself as one of the top young players in the area. He has a bright future ahead with continued development. His talent and competitive drive make him a key piece of the program.

Trevor Praytor – Grove
Trevor lives and breathes golf and has gotten better each season. He has qualified for state as a freshman, sophomore, and junior and aims to return again in his senior year. His passion and work ethic make him a leader for the Grove team.
Jax Goldner – Grove
Jax works very hard on his game and spends significant time practicing. He is committed to continual improvement and becoming a more complete player. His effort will pay off in strong performances this season.
Nakona Johnson – Henryetta
Nakona is a junior who has held the number two bag every year of high school golf. A great kid who wants to be good, he puts in the time at the course to make it happen. Having started in sixth grade, he has improved each year, and the staff expects strong showings from him this season.
Braxton Stockholm – Henryetta
Braxton is a sophomore and a tremendous athlete who is one of the hardest workers on the team. He is obsessed with golf and spends as much time as possible at the course, even using the coach’s cart more than the coach himself. Braxton began playing junior tournaments last summer and will continue that schedule this year. With his power and dedication, once he settles in, he has a chance to post very low scores for Henryetta.
Ronald Deramus – Idabel
Ronald is a senior who made the state tournament last year and is expected to qualify again. He brings experience and poise to the Idabel lineup. His goal is to finish his high school career on a high note.
James Carper – Idabel
James, known as JR, has been playing golf for several years and is very committed to the game. He works hard to improve and become more consistent. His dedication is starting to show in his results.
Travis Weast and Caden Thompson – Inola
Travis is a senior and last year’s regional champion with two career wins and eighteen career top-ten finishes. Caden, also a senior, has four career wins and twenty-five top-ten finishes. Together, they give Inola an experienced and highly accomplished one-two punch at the top of the lineup.
Chase Jones – Keys
Chase is a senior and a very strong golfer for Keys. He has qualified for the state tournament every year and finished sixteenth individually last season. His experience and consistency make him a leader for the team.

Cooper Watson – Lawton MacArthur
Cooper has been one of the top five players in the state for the last two years and is very active in OJGA tournaments. He was part of Team Oklahoma this summer and has continued to elevate his game. Cooper has signed to play college golf at Baylor University, joining a nationally respected program. His accomplishments and work ethic speak for themselves.

Kel Manning – Lawton MacArthur
Kel has been on the varsity team all four years of high school. Outside of golf, he is involved in his church leadership group and many school clubs, where he serves as a leader. Kel is always willing to help others and volunteer where needed. His character and service are as impressive as his play.

Zac Howie – Lindsay
Zac is a very consistent golfer who may not hit the ball the farthest but is a fairway finder most of the time. He is also an outstanding young man. His reliability and demeanor make him a coach’s favorite.

Reid Dorman – Lindsay
Reid is an awesome kid who loves golf. His confidence is growing, and if he can continue to build consistency, he has a chance to become a very good player. He is trending in the right direction.
Creed Taylor – Lindsay
Creed is one of the hardest workers his coaches have been around. He is involved in various school activities and serves as a great role model for younger students. His commitment and example make him a leader on and off the course.
Tucker Neeley – Madill
Tucker is in his first year of school golf and came to the coach eager and excited to get started. As a senior on a young roster, he began putting in work back in the fall to prepare. His enthusiasm and effort are already making a positive impact on the team.
Layne Dorer – Madill
Layne is a freshman playing school golf for the first time and made an immediate impression. He loves the game and is excited to play alongside the seniors and learn from them. Layne spends a lot of time on the course and regularly shares his scores with his coach. There is a lot of excitement about what he can do this year.
Austin Talkington – Madill
Austin has been a model of integrity, leadership, and sportsmanship throughout the offseason. He leads by example with his work ethic, positive attitude, and accountability in both practice and competition. His presence sets the standard for the rest of the team.
Ethan Travis – Marlow
Ethan has been on varsity since his freshman year and is now a senior. He has signed with Seminole State to continue his golf career at the college level. Ethan finished tied for eleventh at state last year and is a major contributor to the team’s success. His experience and talent make him a key leader.
Jaden Sartin – Marlow
Jaden will make his debut as a full-time varsity starter this season. He has been working hard to become a counting score for the team. Coaches are excited to see him step into a bigger role.
Carter Duke – Marlow
Carter is a junior who works hard for the team and also participates in the band. He can be counted on to do things the right way and is known for his integrity. His reliability makes him a valuable member of the program.

Seth Gilliam – McAlester
Seth is a tireless worker who anchors the McAlester team. Over the last three years, he has consistently shot in the seventies and provides a reliable score in every event. With his ability and drive, he has a realistic shot at competing for an individual state championship.
Colby Wheat – McAlester
Colby is a sophomore who served as the fifth bag last year and gained valuable experience during the team’s state tournament run. He played a big role in what the team accomplished and is expected to do the same this year. Colby led the team with four eagles last season and is working back from an ACL injury suffered in football, hoping for a full recovery by golf season. His upside is significant once he is fully healthy.
Kennedy and Kingston Young – McAlester
Kennedy and Kingston are twin brothers who transferred from Hartshorne to join the McAlester golf program. They show up with great attitudes and work very hard in the weight room. Kennedy considers himself the better golfer, but Kingston provides strong competition, and both are pushing to round out the varsity lineup. Their nicknames, Nighthawk and Red Dragon, reflect the fun and energy they bring to the team.
Jett Winner – Moore
Jett is a freshman who looks poised to hold the number one bag for Moore this year. He has a lot of talent and a very bright future. Coaches are excited to see how he performs right away at the varsity level.
Radek McCaskill – Newcastle
Radek led Newcastle in scoring as a freshman in 2025. He is looking to build on that strong first season and make a mark on the Class 5A golf scene. His early success suggests he can be a top player in the classification.
Connor Bussum – Newcastle
Connor was also a freshman in 2025 and played a key role in helping the team qualify for state. He missed the first part of last season due to a broken wrist but returned and quickly elevated the team’s performance. Connor became one of the leading scorers for the Racers, and the staff expects a big year from him.

Jet Smith – North Rock Creek
Jet is a senior who has played competitive golf since age ten. He has worked very hard and signed with East Central University in Ada to continue his career in college. Jet had a strong summer, winning one tournament, finishing in the top five in several others, and setting personal records, including a one under par round at Lincoln Park. An outstanding young man with high character, he will lead North Rock Creek with confidence this spring.

Jake Hacker – North Rock Creek
Jake is a sophomore and a natural athlete who excels at most things he does. He is very driven to succeed in golf and has plans to play at the college level. His scores have improved significantly since he began tournament golf a year ago. Jake will play an important role in the team’s success this year.

Jackson Hurd – Nowata
Jackson is a senior who has already been to the state tournament. He finished in the top thirty in the state last year and is eager to continue playing in college. His experience and aspirations drive him to keep improving.

Kason Summers – Nowata
Kason is a junior who just missed the cut for state last year. He competes in both basketball and golf and is working to break through this season. His athleticism and determination give him a strong chance to get there.

Carson Brown – Perkins-Tryon
Carson is everything you would want in a team leader. He leads by example but can also be vocal when needed and knows how to relate to teammates at all skill levels. His teammates enjoy being around him and often turn to him for help with things bigger than golf. The program and school appreciate what he represents for Perkins-Tryon.

Cason Reed – Perkins-Tryon
Cason has a bright future in golf and has shown a skill level that is rare for someone his age. Even more impressive than his talent are his character and leadership abilities. The staff expects big things from him this season and beyond.

Jace Myers – Perkins-Tryon
Jace is the definition of a student-athlete, competing in three sports, excelling in the classroom, and staying heavily involved in FFA. He is a positive role model in every activity he joins. Coaches expect him to act as an extension of the staff on the field, court, and golf course. Jace is a great representation of what the program and school value most.

Austen Mueller – Piedmont
Austen is a three-time state qualifier with multiple individual and team tournament titles. He is currently ranked among the top twenty players on iWanamaker and has signed to play college golf at Pittsburg State next year. Coaches expect a great senior season from him as he finishes his high school career.
Liam Creighton – Piedmont
Liam is a freshman with tremendous upside. Currently serving as the fifth bag, he posted strong numbers in the fall season. His potential suggests he will be an asset to the Piedmont program for many years.

Barrett Munger – Piedmont
Barrett has grown significantly as a player through hard work and humility. He focuses on improving both himself and his teammates. Barrett and the rest of the group have embraced a team-first mentality, trusting that individual honors will follow.
Garrison Whitworth – Poteau
Garrison is a two-time state placer in one of the toughest classifications in Oklahoma. He carries a career scoring average of about seventy-two and one half and is expected to take another step forward as he matures. With his ability, he can compete for the Class 4A individual state championship next spring.
Cael Terry – Poteau
Cael is a freshman entering with high expectations. He is a highly talented player who loves being on the course and comes from a golf family, with a brother who played college golf. Surrounded by people with next-level experience, he has a strong foundation for success.
Caston Qualls – Poteau
Caston may play more golf than anyone else in Poteau and has a deep love for the program. He is an incredible teammate who has patiently waited his turn to lead. The staff expects a big season from him as he steps into a larger role.

Elijah Schatz – Ripley
Elijah enters the season averaging about four under par and should be one of the favorites to win state. He has already recorded multiple tournament victories and continues to elevate his game. His scoring ability makes him a standout to watch.

Jonah Schatz – Ripley
Jonah is an up-and-coming freshman averaging in the low eighties. He is quickly gaining experience and confidence. Jonah is definitely a player to watch in the near future.

Gage Webb – Sallisaw
Gage is a junior entering his first season of golf and already shows promise as a consistent ball striker with solid chipping and putting. He is a hard worker who practices on his own and takes pride in improving. Gage is also a leader in the classroom and on the course, making him a model athlete and student. His coach is excited to see how his first season unfolds.

Bo Qualls – Sallisaw
Bo is a sophomore starting his second season of golf. He played a couple of tournaments last year and improved with each one, then continued to work on his game throughout the year. Bo is making strong progress, and his coach is eager to see what he accomplishes this season. He is another model athlete and student in the Sallisaw program.

Harrison Fritz – Sapulpa
Harrison has improved greatly this season, both as a player and as a person. He is becoming a fantastic leader for the team. His extensive work outside of scheduled practice is showing in his scores and in his camaraderie with teammates. The coaching staff is very proud of his growth.

Bronx Perez – Sapulpa
Bronx is a freshman who has already won or placed in many tournaments through both competitive and school events. Most recently, he recorded his first hole-in-one, a rare achievement at any age. His position as a potential number one bag at such a young age is unique for the program. With raw talent that has been evident for years at the junior high level, he is excited to compete at the next level, and opponents should take notice.
Hudson Hendricks – Sequoyah Tahlequah
Hudson will be a junior this season and is looking to build on a fantastic sophomore year in which he qualified for state as an individual. He recorded several top-ten finishes last season and is aiming for a return to state and a deeper run. Hudson also hopes to help the entire team reach the state tournament this year.
Bryce Haddock – Sequoyah Tahlequah
Bryce is a freshman and a talented player with the potential for a breakout season. He has posted good scores over the summer while playing in U.S. Kids events and OJGA tournaments. Bryce will be a valuable part of the team and will push to become one of the top players in the area.
Lawson Morgan – Sequoyah Tahlequah
Lawson is the lone senior for the boys program this year. Last season, as a first-year player, he was a staple in the five bag position and emerged as a leader. He is also a multi-sport athlete who participates in football, track, and golf while excelling in the classroom. Lawson is looking forward to an improved senior year on the course.
Cash Danker – Silo
Cash works just as hard in practice as he does on the course. He is focused on doing his best every time he tees it up. His dedication is a key part of Silo’s success.
Connor Thomas – Sperry
Connor missed qualifying for the Class 3A state tournament by two shots last year after a tough break on the thirty-fifth hole. He responded by working hard and putting together a solid summer and fall. Connor earned All-Tulsa Seven Conference honors last season and is aiming to take the next step this year.
Grant Overfield – Sperry
Grant works hard and puts in the time to continually improve. He always does the right thing and often puts in extra work when he thinks no one is watching. A four-point-zero student taking concurrent college classes, he is one of the best all-around kids his coach has had in nineteen years. His character and effort make him invaluable.

Colt Falconer – Stigler
Colt is extremely talented and hits the ball a long way. He is very dedicated to his craft and is ready to make a jump toward competing for a state championship this year. Colt is the son of former Class 3A state champion Todd Falconer, and that pedigree shows in his game.
Carter Shepherd – Stigler
Carter is a talented freshman who puts in a lot of time on his game. His father is a former state champion, and his grandfather was the long-time golf coach at Stigler, giving him a strong family golf background. Coaches are eager to see him compete this spring.
Cristopher Troche – Tulsa Memorial
Cris is a sophomore entering his second year on the golf team. His skills have improved tremendously since last season, and he now has the ability to compete and perform well. He has committed himself to becoming a better all-around golfer through hard work, dedication, and lots of practice.
Alexander “Xander” Pascarella – Tulsa Memorial
Xander is the epitome of positivity and leads by example both in the classroom and on the course. He loves and appreciates the game of golf and is always quick to offer encouraging words to teammates, opponents, and even himself. To him, the game is fun and entertaining, and he regularly brings joy and excitement in every situation. His strong character makes the entire team better.
Nathan Brown – Union (Tulsa)
Nathan has been the number one bag for Union the last two years. He qualified for state as an individual last season and is hoping to lead the team to a state berth this year. Nathan is consistently in the top ten and top five and is hungry for an individual win this spring.
Ty Weaver – Union (Tulsa)
Ty is the senior leader and a great example for all the younger players. He has been in the program for four years and on varsity for the last three. Ty is very coachable, always working to get better, and models what the staff wants the program to stand for. He is a great kid who works hard and helps his teammates whenever he can.

Logan Janaway – Washington
Logan has been a steady member of the Washington team since earning the number two bag as a freshman and qualifying for regionals as an individual. A hard-working player who is constantly at the course, he now averages in the mid to high seventies and has won two tournaments in his career. His consistency and effort make him a key contributor.

Cooper Murphy – Washington
Cooper earned a varsity bag as a freshman this fall by shooting an eighty-seven. He has the ability to score in the lower eighties and will only improve with more experience. Coaches look forward to watching his growth over the next four years.

Ganon Springer – Washington
Ganon is an all-around great kid with an infectious attitude that draws people to him. He is involved in his local church and is an active member of FCA. Ganon is a lovable person who always has time for others and lifts up those around him.
Kaleb McAlester – Wilburton
Kaleb is the lone senior on this year’s Wilburton team, and the staff is excited for what this season can be for him and the group as a whole. He showed tremendous growth during the offseason, and coaches hope he can carry that progress into competition. His experience and leadership will be vital.
Cash McAlester – Wilburton
Cash is a sophomore who burst onto the scene last year as a freshman by winning the regional tournament and qualifying for state as an individual. He gained valuable experience from that run, and the coaches expect big things from him this year. His talent and early success give him a very high ceiling.
TENNIS

Gus Byrd – Ada
Gus is the number one player on the team and plays number one singles. He is a very talented tennis player and an incredible leader. He leads every day by the example he sets on and off the court.

Drake Cody – Ada
Drake played as a freshman last year and made it all the way to the state finals at number two doubles. He has worked hard, improved even more, and continues to raise his level. Drake is an excellent leader and an extremely talented young man.

Matthew Anderson – Ada
Matthew is an excellent tennis player and an outstanding leader for the team. He also serves as the student council president at the high school. A hard worker and incredible teammate, he sets a high standard in everything he does.
Sam Battiest – Anadarko
Sam is a senior who qualified for state last year. He plays year-round and competes in several Native American tournaments as a Native American athlete. The coaches are hopeful he will make a strong run again this season.

Jaxon Barrett – Anadarko
Jaxon comes from a tennis family and has improved significantly over the past year. He will be playing doubles this season and is eager to see how he performs. In addition to tennis, he is involved in many activities and is an excellent student. Well-mannered, responsible, and kind, he is a true gentleman to be around every day.
Johnny Colmenero – Bartlesville
Johnny is a team captain and exactly the kind of player any coach would want. He is a leader and a grinder who is always working to improve and help his teammates get better. Other coaches around the state know and respect him as well. He is both a great player and a great person.
Jack Ihrig – Bartlesville
Jack is a freshman with the potential to become a very strong player. He puts in a lot of work and really wants to understand the game at a deeper level. Jack is part of a promising freshman and sophomore group that will be exciting to watch over the next few years.
Karsten “KP” Proctor – Bartlesville
Karsten, known as KP, is a great kid who is always smiling, laughing, and willing to help. He is very involved in the school community and is highly respected by teammates, coaches, and staff. KP is the definition of a strong student-athlete.

Walker Nelson – Bixby
Walker is one of the top players in the state and is ranked among the top one hundred in the nation in his age group. He leads by example with his incredible work ethic and talent. Mature beyond his years, Walker has high goals for this season and pushes and encourages his teammates every day.
Carter Henson – Bixby
Carter is a junior and returning varsity starter who is one of the top number two singles players in Class 6A. He has worked extremely hard to reach this level and was one of the team’s most improved players last year. On court, his determination, grit, and refusal to quit stand out. He is also a great teammate who supports others.
Jack Stevenson – Bixby
Jack is a high-integrity, hard-working young man. He is a member of the Bixby marching band, a varsity athlete, and maintains high academic standards. Levelheaded and respectful, he displays great sportsmanship and is very coachable. Jack consistently does the right thing with peers and adults alike.
Hudson Claggett – Bristow
Hudson will play number one singles for Bristow this season. He is stepping into a key role at the top of the lineup. The coaches are excited to see him compete in that spot.
Carter Reese – Carl Albert
Carter is a three-time state qualifier who works extremely hard every day to get better. He does an excellent job encouraging his teammates and has a real passion for tennis and the Titans program. His experience and leadership are invaluable.
Ethan Loung – Carl Albert
Ethan is a very talented player with tremendous upside. He missed the state tournament last year because of an injury, but he is healthy and hungry this season. The coaches are expecting big things from him.
Kyle Sparks – Carl Albert
Kyle is a “do the right thing” kind of player who always shows up ready to work and stays positive. He has faced tremendous adversity after recently losing his father, yet he continues to excel both in the classroom and on the tennis court. His resilience and attitude are remarkable.
Teric Smith – Charles Page
Teric is a senior who plays both varsity basketball and tennis. His scrappy athleticism and competitiveness make him an MVP-type presence for the team. He brings energy and toughness to every match.
Jayden Hardly – Charles Page
Jayden is a great kid who works hard every day. He is focused on improving and looks poised for a big season. His effort and attitude stand out to his coaches.
Wesley Russell – Charles Page
Wesley works hard and is always there to support his teammates. He brings dependable effort and a team-first mindset. His support helps build a strong team culture.
Marco Castro – Chickasha
Marco has remained committed to school and sports even through the difficult experience of his family leaving and him being on his own. His resilience and perseverance are inspiring. He is a strong example of dedication and toughness.
Wesley Kopec – Chickasha
Wesley is kind, hardworking, and always gives his best effort. He approaches practices and matches with a positive attitude. His character makes him a valuable teammate.
Rhett Troub – Chickasha
Rhett is loyal, studious, and a fair and honest person. He brings integrity to everything he does on and off the court. His teammates and coaches appreciate his steady presence.
Austin Baker – Collinsville
Austin will be a junior in the 2026 season and is entering his third year on the varsity Collinsville tennis team. He previously played number two doubles and qualified for state as a sophomore. This year, he is stepping into the number one singles role and embracing the challenge head-on. A leader on and off the court, he serves as the junior captain.

Lincoln Nelson – Lincoln Christian
Lincoln is an incredibly dedicated tennis player who only began in eighth grade but has put in countless hours in drills and lessons. He played number one singles last year and will compete either there or at number one doubles this season. With his work ethic and growth, he should challenge for a podium spot at whichever position he plays.

Jackson Teague – Lincoln Christian
Jackson is a sophomore who will play a key role for Lincoln Christian this year. He has invested many extra hours in lessons and drills to build his game. Jackson will compete on varsity at either number two singles or number two doubles and has the ability to make a podium push in either spot.

Micah Wagner – Lincoln Christian
Micah is a returning state placer at number two singles and will likely play there again or at number one doubles. He is an incredibly hard-working junior who has already earned forty-eight career wins, just twelve shy of the school record of sixty. After missing state as a freshman, he came back unseeded as a sophomore and fought his way to a state medal. His perseverance and competitiveness are a huge asset to the program.

Isaac Green – Pauls Valley
Isaac leads the way for Pauls Valley and is looking to translate his consistent podium finishes at first doubles into success at first singles. He has previously placed fifth, fourth, and third in that doubles spot and now steps into the top singles position. His experience and consistency make him a strong threat at the top of the lineup.

Cooper Maness – Pauls Valley
Cooper is a junior whose state-qualifying experience from last season gives the team a proven competitor near the top of the order. He brings confidence and toughness to big matches. His presence helps anchor the lineup.
Derick Cheatham – Westmoore
Derick is a sophomore who has really improved and developed a strong work ethic. He shows up every day ready to get better. His progress has the coaches excited about his future.
TRACK
Jemele Alexander – Altus
Jemele has quickly and quietly become the leader of the Altus program. He is the go-to athlete for the team, consistently leading workouts and holding everyone accountable. A key leg on both sprint relays and several open sprint events, he is willing to run just about anything the coaches ask. Jemele is the type of athlete you hate to see graduate because of his impact on the program.
Zareke Durrough – Altus
Zareke is only a freshman, but he is already a name to watch in track. A three-sport athlete who currently shines in basketball, he projects as one of the top 800-meter runners in Class 5A this year. He will help lead the 3200 and 1600 relays, as well as the open 800, and hopes to add long jump to his event list. His versatility and drive give him a very high ceiling.
Zayden Glatzer-Brown – Altus
Zayden, known as Zay, is one of those athletes you can tell is a great person right away. Well-liked by everyone, he is a major contributor as a 400 runner and as part of the 800 and 1600 relays. Zay comes to practice, works hard, and then heads to his job, which says a lot about his character and work ethic.
Izzy Garcia – Bethel
Izzy is a true program guy who has worked extremely hard to become a competitive distance runner. He puts in early morning training sessions to sharpen his craft and continues to push himself. Izzy qualified for state in cross country this fall and is poised for a strong spring in the distance races.
Isaiah Fulton – Bethel
Isaiah, the son of head basketball coach Caleb Fulton, is the definition of a coach’s kid. He shows up every day and works as hard as humanly possible. A three-sport athlete, he has contributed in football and basketball and will bring speed to the 400 and 200 this spring. Getting back into coaching track, his coach is excited to work with an athlete like Isaiah.
Darius Cheatham – Bethel
Darius excels in sports and in the classroom. He is involved in student council, FCA, and Blue and Gold Mentors and is a young man you never have to worry about doing the right thing. Always smiling and willing to help where needed, Darius is a tremendous teammate and leader.
Kashton Carter – Buffalo
Kashton is a junior who has run at the state track meet in the 4×800 relay for the past two years. His consistency and experience make him a vital part of the Buffalo distance squad. He will look to lead that relay back to state again.
Bryson Stowe – Coalgate
Bryson was set up for a big year last spring before a quad injury sidelined him for most of the season. He returned late to help the 4×200 relay win regionals and place fifth at state. Now healthy as a senior, he is poised for a strong comeback season.
Davis Grant – Coalgate
Davis is no stranger to the state track meet. Last spring, he stepped in for an injured teammate on both the 4×100 and 4×200 relays and performed at a high level. An extremely hard worker with a lot of upside, he looks to have a big spring ahead.
Keisean Riley – Coalgate
Keisean ran track for the first time last season as a sophomore. He medaled several times in the 400 meters and narrowly missed qualifying for state. After working extremely hard in the offseason, he is aiming to punch his ticket to the state meet this year.
Truett Joiner – Coweta
Truett is always willing to compete in any event the coaches ask of him. He is a strong leader for the junior high athletes and takes time to mentor them. His versatility and leadership make him a key part of the Coweta program.
Andrew Cline – Coweta
Andrew missed much of his freshman year due to injury. Even so, when healthy, he posted impressive times in the hurdles as a true freshman. With a full season ahead, he has the potential to make a real impact.
Tristan Weese – Coweta
Tristan always works hard and never complains. He is always ready to compete and maintains a positive outlook no matter what happens in a race. After each performance, he looks for ways to improve, which makes him a coachable and dependable athlete.
Riley Smith – Elk City
Riley is a sophomore who has steadily improved his strength and speed every year. The staff expects him to be the best leg on three relay teams this season. He is highly motivated to help those relays qualify for the state track meet.
Rhaziah Reese – Elk City
Rhaziah is a freshman with incredible speed for his age. He will be a major part of the varsity sprint relays and open sprint events this year. His talent gives Elk City a dynamic new weapon in the sprints.
Tommy Bailey – Elk City
Tommy is a senior and a major leader for the Elk City squad. He sets an example for younger athletes by showing consistency and measured growth year after year. His leadership and work habits set the tone for the team.
Colton Webb – Fort Gibson
Colton was the lone state qualifier for the Fort Gibson boys last season, advancing in the high jump. He also competes in the long jump and brings valuable points potential in both events. His experience at state will be important for the team this spring.
Parker Brand – Heavener
Parker is a four-time Class 3A state qualifier in cross country and track relays and will also compete in the indoor state meet in the 400. He has signed with Murray State in Tishomingo to run cross country at the college level. Parker is a perfect example of how hard work pays off and is a phenomenal leader for younger athletes.
Geren Palmer – Heavener
Geren was part of Heavener’s state-qualifying cross country team and the 4×800 relay. As a freshman, he just missed reaching state in the 110 hurdles and 300 hurdles. A great athlete and even better teammate, he is dependable and driven to compete.
Jerred Boss – Heavener
Jerred also helped the team qualify for state in cross country and in the 4×800 relay. Quiet but determined, he is always willing to step wherever the team needs him. He offers kind encouragement to his fellow athletes and leads by example.
Nathan Nail and Gavin Williams – Henryetta
Nathan and Gavin are expected to lead the Henryetta squad together this season. Nathan is a three-time state qualifier who has reached the podium in two of the past three years, while Gavin, running track for the first time last year, was on pace to qualify in multiple events before a setback. Both athletes are hungry for more success, and the program is excited about the season ahead.
Cadyn Gillispie – Henryetta
Cadyn had to step in as a freshman and replace a leg on a senior and junior relay group, performing up to expectations and helping the team qualify for state. With that experience under his belt, the staff expects even more from him this year. His poise at a young age is impressive.
Tyce Miller – Hominy Bucks
Tyce is a sophomore three-sport athlete who plays football, basketball, and track for Hominy. He started at free safety and receiver on this year’s state runner-up football team and plays significant minutes in basketball. In the 2025 track season, he was regional champion in the pole vault and placed fifth at state with a twelve-foot vault. His athleticism and competitiveness make him a standout.
Gentry Long – Laverne
Gentry will be a key piece as Laverne chases another team podium finish. He was the runner-up at the state cross country meet this year and has already earned gold medals during the indoor season. An excellent runner with a strong finishing kick, he is a name to follow closely this year.
Keaton Cox – Laverne
Keaton had a stellar freshman season, winning regional titles in the 800 and 4×800 and medaling in both at the state meet. He is set to make even more noise this year as he continues to mature. His early success shows just how high his ceiling is.

Preston Wihite – Liberty
Preston is a junior with a great motor and a strong example on the track. He will compete in the 100, 200, 4×100, and 4×200 relays. He ran a 21.78 at state to qualify for the finals before a minor setback and remains a sprinter to watch closely.
Morgan Stoner – Luther
Morgan, a junior at Luther, placed second at state in the pole vault in 2025. Dedicated to his craft, he is focused on returning to the state meet and climbing even higher on the podium. His work ethic drives his continued improvement.
Cruz Herring – Luther
Cruz qualified for state last season in the high jump and aims to return this year. His goal is not just to qualify but to reach the podium. With experience and effort, he is capable of a strong showing.
Zeke Rogers – Mangum
Zeke placed fourth at the state meet in the 110 hurdles as a freshman. With that performance, he has a legitimate shot at winning a state championship this year. His talent and early success make him a top hurdler to watch.
Landon Owens – Mannford
Landon is a sophomore coming off a freshman season where he qualified for state in four events: high jump, long jump, the 4×100, and the 4×200. He has outstanding fast-twitch ability and tremendous upside. The team will rely on him to continue improving and giving his best effort in whatever events he is asked to run.
Luke Naylor – Mannford
Luke is a sophomore who can run anything from the 100 to the 400 and will be on multiple relays. With a full year of high school track behind him, he is ready to compete with the best at every meet. His speed and versatility make him a crucial part of the sprint group.
Brayden Rodriguez – Mannford
Brayden is a senior who has been a steady presence in the Mannford program. He always does what is best for the team and has battled through injuries throughout his high school career. Now fully healthy, he is looking to finish his career on the strongest note possible.
Elias Smith – Morris
Elias is a multi-sport athlete who has been competing in shot put and discus since fourth grade. He has the potential to make noise in both events as he adjusts to the heavier high school implements. The key will be how quickly he adapts to throwing against bigger, stronger athletes and incorporates added strength into his technique.
Isaiah Pannell – Morris
Isaiah is returning to track as a junior after running in middle school. He showed promise as a mid-distance runner and brings an excellent work ethic and great teammate mentality. Coaches are excited to see how he develops this season.
Carmello Williamson – Oaks Mission
Carmello runs a forty-nine point two in the 400 and is aiming to reach the mid to low 48 range this year. He will also compete in the 100, 200, and long jump. His combination of speed and versatility makes him a standout sprinter and jumper.
Sam Hogue – Oologah
Sam has qualified for the state track meet three years in the 100 and 200. A hard worker who also plays soccer, he is expected to reach the podium this year. He will continue his athletic career playing football next year at the Colorado School of Mines.
Cade Schick – Oologah
Cade is a pole vaulter who has qualified for state in both his freshman and sophomore seasons. The coaches expect him to reach the medal stand this year. He is also a three-time state qualifier in swimming, making him one of the most versatile athletes in the program.
James Williams – Plainview
James is a three-time state qualifier in the 110 high hurdles, finishing second last year and fourth the year before. He is working harder than he ever has to chase a state title. The future is very bright for this young hurdler.
Ried McMurry – Plainview
Ried is a dedicated young man fully committed to track. He will run the 4×800, the 800, and the mile, and his times are already exceptional. The coaches are excited to see how far he can go this season.
Eli Brown – Plainview
Eli is the ultimate “kid of kids,” combining work ethic, dependability, ability, leadership, and toughness. He has run the base leg on the 4×800 and 4×400 relays for the past two seasons. As a junior, his goal is to run a 49-second quarter, and he is fun to coach and a great athlete to have on the team.

Cannon Hollie – Porum
Cannon is an exceptional athlete who won the ORES 400-meter race last year and set a state record. He will run multiple events for Porum this season. His speed and competitive nature make him a major threat.
Baylor Bohannon – Porum
Baylor is an exceptional young man with significant talent. He brings strong effort and character to the team. Coaches expect him to continue developing into a standout performer.
Shawn Smith – Ripley
Shawn is a two-time state qualifier in the 110 hurdles. He continues to refine his technique and speed. With his experience, he has a strong chance to return to state again.
Brodie Bursiaga – Ripley
Brodie has a legitimate chance to qualify for state in the 400 meters. His speed and training point to a breakthrough season. He will be a key athlete in the sprint group.
Sama Salinas – Sallisaw
Sama is a very hard-working young man with a strong hunger to be the best. He has already experienced the state meet and is a two-time state qualifier in cross country. That taste of success has driven him to work even harder for track season.
Bo Brackett and Kenyan Hill – Sallisaw
Bo and Kenyan both look poised for big seasons for Sallisaw. They bring speed, effort, and competitiveness to the program. The coaching staff expects them to be major contributors in multiple events.
Cam Plummer – Sayre
Cam is a senior who has been part of the Sayre track team since sixth grade. He qualified for state last season in three relays and has already qualified for the indoor state meet in long jump. This year, he will run second leg on the sprint relay, third leg on the 800 relay, and first leg on the mile relay. Dedicated and hardworking, he is a core leader for the program.
Quaid Whitney – Sayre
Quaid is a freshman to keep an eye on, especially in the pole vault. He recently qualified for the indoor state meet in that event and has high hopes for making outdoor state as well. Determined and well-mannered, he will also compete in pole vault, the open 400, and serve as a backup for relays.
Jagger Wotton – SayreJagger is a sophomore who will compete in the 110 hurdles, the 4×200 relay, and possibly the mile relay. He shows up every day ready to work hard and has great respect for his coaches, teammates, and the sport. A two-sport athlete who also plays baseball, he does an excellent job balancing both and giving his best effort in each.
Dorian Rascon – Sentinel
Dorian is a true workhorse who always puts in the effort needed to get better. Extremely selfless, he steps out of his comfort zone to help others, whether it is assisting with block starts or encouraging teammates when he is not on the track. His dedication and willingness to serve make him invaluable.
Rudy Gilbert – Sentinel
Rudy is a freshman ready to put the state on notice. He showed great promise last season in the long jump, 100, and 400 and is due for a breakout year. His speed and potential are obvious.
Wyatt Bullard – Stigler
Wyatt is a very hard-working athlete with a great attitude. He had strong results last year in the 1600 and 3200 and hopes to improve on those performances this season. His dedication positions him well for continued success.
Cesar DeLaCruz – Stigler
Cesar is a freshman with excellent speed, length, and work ethic. He was set back by a broken leg in football last year but remains an athlete with tremendous potential. Coaches expect big things from him in the future.
Michael Bills – Stigler
Michael is a senior who has been a standout leader for the team. A hard worker and very good young man, he sets a strong example for others. His leadership will be missed when he graduates.
Braden Arnold and Duncan Clary – Tishomingo
Braden and Duncan are two outstanding kids who work hard and always give their all. Their effort and commitment help set the tone for the Tishomingo program. The coaches trust them to compete and lead well.

Ryder Johnson – Tupelo
Ryder is a junior multi-sport athlete who brings a rare mix of power, coordination, and competitiveness to the runway. After placing at state in the long jump last year, he returns with more confidence and maturity. He is poised to make another deep postseason run.
Joshua Joseph – Victory Christian
Joshua is an outstanding young man with a superb work ethic and excellent character. He exemplifies the Victory Conqueror virtues and uses his talents to glorify God. His attitude and effort elevate everyone around him.
Asa Hyslop – Victory Christian
Asa is a great leader who always goes above and beyond for his team. One of the hardest workers with significant talent, he is the type of athlete any program would be proud to have represent them. The staff is very proud of Asa and what he brings to Victory Christian.
Carson Osburn – Vinita
Carson is a hardworking sophomore and a natural leader for Vinita. He leads the team the right way on and off the track and will do whatever is asked of him. His reliability and effort make him a cornerstone of the squad.
Clayton Jinks – Vinita
Clayton is another hard worker for the Hornets. He is expected to find success in the 800 meters. His determination and training should pay off in strong performances.
Levi Bishop – Warner
Levi is a two-time state qualifier in the 1600 and 3200 and enters his junior season with momentum. He finished seventh in the 3200 at state last year and was regional champion. With his commitment and steady improvement, he has a great chance to reach the podium this season.
Colt Thompson – Warner
Colt is a freshman with true sprinter’s speed and will be the fastest runner on the team. He will be a vital part of the relay groups and a key piece for Warner. The staff is eager to see how he stacks up against strong competition.
Josiah Dickerson – Washington
Josiah is a sophomore who has already made a huge impact on the Washington program. He holds Division One football offers, which has only fueled his drive to be the best athlete he can be. Last year, he ran an 11.2 in the 100 and barely missed qualifying for state, while also serving as a key member of the 4×100 relay and projecting into the 4×200 and 200 this year. Known for his relentless work in the weight room and on technique, he is determined to reach state in multiple events and brings infectious energy that elevates everyone around him. He has even helped recruit more athletes to track, contributing to a big jump in participation.
Creed Barrett – Washington
Creed is another young athlete with Division One football offers who saw significant time on the track team as a freshman. After battling a hamstring injury early last year, he was not fully healthy until the end of the season, but he has since focused on speed and strength and is now one of the fastest athletes on the team. Creed is expected to be a key member of the sprint relays and to compete for spots in the open sprints, including the 1600 relay where he performed well last year. Healthy and in the best shape of his young life, he is ready to help elevate the program to the next level.
Colt Simunek – Waukomis
Colt is a junior and an outstanding teammate who cares deeply about doing his best in every sport and activity. He is always cheering on teammates and even friends from other schools, making sure no one goes to the line without support or a block holder. Colt qualified for the state cross country meet as an individual, joined the one thousand point club in basketball, and is a returning state qualifier in two track events. His attitude and work ethic are contagious and make the entire team better.
Wyatt Southwick – Waukomis
Wyatt is a new sophomore at Waukomis who brings a positive attitude and energizing spirit. He fits in well with the team and helps create a supportive environment. His presence has been a welcome addition.
Colt Simunek – Waukomis
In addition to his athletic success, Colt is an excellent student. He is always the first to cheer on others, cares deeply about helping teammates reach their goals, and is especially popular among the younger students. Colt coaches a YMCA basketball team and supports all other sports and extracurricular activities whenever he can. His leadership in the school community is as impressive as his performances on the track.
Thadan Yandell – Webbers Falls
Thadan is a multi-sport athlete who qualified for the state meet in shot put as a freshman. He has the strength to excel in the event as he continues to refine his technique. His leadership and competitive mindset make him a strong asset for any team.
Wylee Terrell – Wellston
Wylee finished seventh at the state meet in both the 3200 and one 1600 last season. He also runs on the 1600 and 3200 relays. With a great work ethic and plenty of room to grow, Wylee is just getting started, and the coaches expect great things from him this year.

Colt Moore – Woodward
Colt is looking forward to another successful junior season in the sprints and sprint relays. He holds the Woodward High School record in the 400 with a time of forty-nine point zero three seconds as a sophomore and is aiming to break his own mark this year. A two-time state medalist in the 400, he also reached the podium in the 200 last season with a fourth-place finish. Colt is one of the top sprinters in the program’s history.

Caleb Hutton – Woodward
Caleb is a sophomore aiming for a strong season in the pole vault. He is focused on improving his ten-foot six-inch personal best and clearing higher bars this year. His dedication to the event is evident in his training.

Harley Alexander – Woodward
Harley is much more than a typical hype guy. He will do anything asked at practice and is always willing to jump into a relay or event to help his teammates. At meets, you will find him cheering on runners, jumpers, and throwers all around the track. Last year, he anchored the four by 100 relay for Woodward’s Special Olympics track and field team at the Class A and 2A state meet, showing that no matter the race, Harley steps up and gets the job done with pride.
