OUTLOOK

The Webbers Falls Warriors return to the court this season with a young but seasoned roster, and head coach Jim Glover believes that continuity and experience will pay off in a big way. With four returning starters and a core that has grown together, the Warriors enter the new campaign aiming to take a significant step forward. “Still young but should show improvement with four returning starters,” Glover said.

Leading the charge is sophomore standout Thadan Yandell (6-3, So., Forward), who emerged as the team’s most productive scorer a season ago. Yandell averaged 12 points, 5.8 rebounds, and 3 assists, making him a versatile weapon capable of controlling the game inside and out. His length, court vision, and ability to score in multiple ways make him one of the most important pieces in the Warriors’ foundation.

Joining him in the frontcourt is Chevy Cole (6-0, So., Forward), another young player who made a major impact last year. Cole averaged 9.8 points and 6.5 rebounds, giving Webbers Falls a strong, physical presence in the paint. Together, Cole and Yandell form a promising sophomore duo with the potential to dominate matchups around the rim.

Senior Eli Heflin (6-1, Sr., Forward) provides leadership and experience, contributing 2.9 points and 2.3 rebounds per game while anchoring the Warriors’ interior defense. His presence and maturity offer stability for a roster still developing its identity.

In the backcourt, juniors Brutus Robinson (5-8, Jr., Guard) and Gunner Shelby (5-9, Jr., Guard) return with improved confidence and production. Robinson averaged 4.5 points, 3.4 rebounds, and 2.1 assists, bringing energy and grit to both ends of the floor. Shelby added 5.6 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 1.8 assists, providing steady scoring and playmaking that will be crucial to Webbers Falls’ offensive rhythm.

With a lineup that blends scoring, athleticism, and valuable returning experience, the Warriors appear poised to take a noticeable leap. And with Glover confident in the growth of his young squad, Webbers Falls enters the season ready to compete, improve, and climb in the standings.
