OUTLOOK

Entering her first season at the helm, head coach Staci Simeroth brings energy and confidence to a Webbers Falls squad she believes will make noise early. With a deep roster and a strong core of experienced seniors and promising underclassmen, Simeroth is optimistic about what this group can become. “I feel like this team will surprise a lot of people,” she said. “They already come out and have the drive and want to. We are young but aggressive and sound. I believe this team will be hard to beat when all our pieces are together. We have a lot of work to do but with the team chemistry they will be a well-oiled machine. I’m excited to coach them this year!”

The Lady Warriors will rely heavily on their senior class, which includes Rhilee Jones (5-4, Sr., SF), Hailey Shanks (5-10, Sr., C), Audri Spears (5-6, Sr., SF), and Bailey Ward (5-6, Sr., SG/SF). Ward stands out as a versatile scorer and emotional leader. “Bailey brings a lot of energy with her. She’s a hustler and always ready to go. She’s a leader on and off the floor and I think she will help us greatly. Bailey is easy to coach and helps out wherever she is needed.”

The junior class features Abbie Patterson (5-5, Jr., SG). Simeroth praised her involvement and commitment: “Abbie is very involved in FFA; she is an officer and does multiple activities.”

A large, talented sophomore group adds depth across every position. This includes Hannahkay Mason (5-0, So., SG), River Qualls (5-0, So., SG), Katie Fraizer (5-1, So., SG), Peyton Shanks (5-7, So., PF), along with Madison Smith (5-2, So., PG/SG) and Paizley Turley (5-7, So., PF). “Peyton will help any chance she can. She is a joy to know and to have on the team. She is always willing to go the extra mile.”

Freshman guard Allie Patterson (5-3, Fr., PG/SG) joins the team as the Underclassman to Watch, and Simeroth is excited about her potential. “Allie is a great athlete. She hustles hard and is easy to coach. She can handle the ball with grace and is a great teammate. She has the potential to be a great point guard and a key to our offense and defense.” Rounding out the freshman class are Kimberlee Rolston (5-8, Fr., PF) and Ashlynn Black (5-3, Fr., SG).

With leadership, depth, and team chemistry on their side, the Lady Warriors step into the season with confidence — and a coach who believes they’re ready to turn heads.
