Academic Team –

Ty Martin – Broken Bow

Ty always has a positive attitude.  It doesn’t matter what the situation is, how bad the score is, or how many games we’ve lost, Ty is always cheerful and ready to encourage those around him.  He’s a good player, who knows a lot about a lot, but more than that, he’s a good person.

Lexi Mann – Drummond

Lexi is always there to explain a math problem, or offer support to anyone on her team!

Chevy McLemore – Haileyville

Chevy is dependable, hard working and works well with all teammates.  He volunteers to help in all situations.

Sierra Shrum – Mangum

A junior, Sierra is as competitive a player as I’ve ever coached, but she’s able to temper that fire with a clear head. She also understands and practices the values of respect and determination, which are part of the culture that our team embodies. She is a tremendous help during matches, and I expect her to take on even more of a leadership role when next season starts.

James Durst – Piedmont

James has always been one of the most responsible and dependable members of the academic team. He is one of the top scorers, and is a crucial member of the varsity team. He always stays after practice to help clean up, and is always there to lend a helping hand.

Mason Sumpter – Red Oak

Mason is the backbone of the team. He is knowledgeable about history, science, medicine, music, and literature. He supports all of the players, and he has expertise in subjects that complement his teammates. His kindness does not go unnoticed, whether in the classroom or at a competition. Mason brightens everyone’s day with his witty one-liners.

James Mills – Chisholm

James is very quiet, but I can always count on him. He shows up and does whatever is needed without complaint.

Luke Tacker – Hobart

Luke is a senior and answers his fair share of questions. In addition to that, he is polite and dependable, and he has a great attitude.

Matthew Mihalik – Guthrie

Matthew J. Mihalik is a remarkable individual who exemplifies great character and is an invaluable teammate. He is not only exceptionally smart but also embodies kindness and support, making him a fantastic leader within our academic team. Despite being limited to competing only once this year due to scheduling conflicts, Matthew has played a crucial role in rallying our team together. He consistently assists acting team captain Bella in organizing practices and mock games, ensuring that everything runs smoothly. Matthew goes above and beyond by arranging practice sessions, keeping team members focused and engaged, and diligently helping organize and clean up afterward. His dedication, leadership, and unwavering support for his teammates have significantly contributed to our team’s overall success, and we are incredibly grateful to have him as part of our academic family.

Jayden Ashton – Wagoner

Jayden is one of the most respectful kids at WHS. He always shows up to practice and never complains.  He takes this attitude to tennis as well, where he qualified for the state tournament last year.

Sreekar Vajjha – Classen SAS @NE

Sreekar has been competing in academic team competitions since he was in the 3rd grade and really enjoys both the competition and the learning involved. Sreekar has begun helping to coach younger students and guiding them to find success in academic team activities. When he isn’t helping to coach and encourage those ambitious achievers to become elite competitors, he spends his time studying potential questions, maintaining a 4.40 gpa as an AP major, and showing up for every practice and game for the Classen SAS @ NE Academic Team ready to go as the captain.

Ashlin Wright – Panama

She gave the most touching speech about being part of a team and the memories after we lost at Regionals.

Jennifer Groves – Covington-Douglas

Jennifer is a senior leader on our team. She has been on the team since fifth grade. She is the best team captain we have ever had. She considers what everyone on the team knows and goes from there. She never picks something solely based on what she wants. She is always thinking of the team. We will miss her quick wit, leadership, and encouragement to the younger players. Jennifer went above and beyond learning about classical artists and their works this year. This proved to be a great move on her part, and she gave us the upper hand on many games.

Dawson Lynch – Muldrow

Dawson is quiet, but mighty.  He is self-possessed, and can sometimes be a calming influence on the other students.

Payne Coody – Grandfield

Payne is a sophomore at Grandfield. He is our guy that knows some of the oddest topics. If there is a question that seems off the wall random knowledge, it’s almost a guarantee that Payne knows it. He is always happy to be there, bringing positivity to the rest of his team members. He is always eager to practice, and often drags other members along with him to get in extra practice. Super excited to see what is in store for Payne!

Ty McLemore – Hartshorne

Ty is an amazing kid. He is the “hype man” of our team. His enthusiasm and dedication are second to no one. He is at every practice, every meet, and takes every opportunity to participate that he can.

Luke White – Calera

Luke is a very passionate player.  He is very funny, always excited when we do well, and so willing to pump up his team.  He is fearless in answering and genuinely wants to improve his playing to help our team be more successful.

Colson Hutson – Kiefer

Colson Hutson joined our program in the spring of 2022. He has been a fierce competitor and fought through regionals last year to tie us with six other schools. Unfortunately, our previous games were outranked and we did not make it to state. Colson is taking that defeat and putting that into this season’s gaming. He led the team to victory last week in Mario Kart and is navigating Splatoon 3! He is hungry for victory this season.

Blake Whitfield – Broken Bow

Blake is only a freshman, but he is already a starting player on the team.  He is a history buff, especially when it comes to World War II.  He plays with a competitive spirit, but is always ready to help and support the team.  I believe Blake is going to grow and learn so much within the next few years.  One day he may be unstoppable on the buzzer.

Aiden Melzer – Drummond

He is a history expert!

Briar Adams – Haileyville

Briar is a freshman here at Haileyville.  He is a great asset to the team bringing knowledge of current events, movies/tv and math.  This is Briar’s first year to compete with the academic team.

Eldon Rankins – Mangum

Eldon has played for us primarily as a speed round player; when certain topics come up, we know he can assist us with his level of expertise. He’ll continue to play that role, but I do see him playing during the toss-up rounds next year and beyond as he gets more comfortable with the high school game. As a freshman, Eldon also played with the junior high academic team and helped lead them to a conference championship this year. He’s also been able to balance academic bowl with basketball, which is no easy feat.

Leonidas Mears – Piedmont

Leonidas is a key member of the academic team. He excels in all subjects, especially social studies and math. Not only is he an avid member of the team, he is a top student in his class. He is a sophomore, and is currently enrolled in accelerated classes such as chemistry and engineering at CVTech.

Oeshen Nix – Red Oak

Oeshen has an incredible mind for mathematics. He is one of the brightest young students on the team, and he has the potential to become the varsity captain in the future. He loves to study new things about mathematics and can quickly answer questions regardless of the difficulty.

Houston Moore – Chisholm

Houston was part of a middle school team that competed in nationals last year. He’s quick and knowledgeable. I cannot wait to see how he will grow and perform in the next three years.

Cooper Gray – Hobart

Cooper is a math whiz. The students only have ten seconds to do math calculations. Many students do not even attempt to solve the problems with that time limit, but he is often able to answer them.

Andrew Willoughby – Guthrie

Andrew Willoughby is a standout sophomore known for his unwavering trustworthiness and dependability. He has a natural ability to support those around him, always ready with a warm smile that brightens any room. With a sharp intellect and a keen willingness to assist others, Andrew fosters an inclusive environment where everyone feels valued. His positive attitude and genuine kindness make him not only a reliable friend but also a respected peer, contributing to both his personal connections and the community at large. Overall, Andrew embodies the qualities of an exceptional individual who inspires and uplifts everyone he encounters.

Kael Humphries – Wagoner

Kael is a sophomore and has worked very hard this year to secure a starting position on the team.  His specialties are sports trivia as well as presidential and historical facts. He is currently the fourth highest scorer on the team.

Milla Heusman – Classen SAS @ NE

Milla is a sophomore at Classen SAS @NE and has been involved in academic team competition since middle school. Milla has a knack for all things related to mythology and enjoys science and reading immensely. Milla has grown in confidence and has expanded her knowledge base significantly. Milla is one to watch for certain!

Joe Sharp – Covington-Douglas

Joe Sharp is a sophomore at Covington-Douglas. He is a great team member and is currently working on learning all of the world’s capitals. He joined the elective academic class as an underclassman and showed a thirst for being a better team member. He is encouraging to other team members and learns all he can from them. He has a knack for geography, history, and Marvel. He is also involved in football, basketball, baseball, track, and 4-H. He is a state 4-H representative, Garfield County secretary, and Covington 4-H club reporter.

Clay Page – Muldrow

Clay was our only freshman, but shows great promise.

Blaise Dean – Grandfield

Blaise is a sophomore at Grandfield and a HUGE asset to Grandfield Academics. He is a basketball player, as well as a student council member at Grandfield. He is the team member that is always there to put a smile on someone’s face. It is very rare if he is ever in a bad mood, both during school and at academic meets. He is always eager to help his team push forward, as well as being the ace when it comes to science or sports. Excited to see what Blaise brings to Grandfield academics in the future!

Autumn Johnston – Hartshorne

Autumn is an intelligent young lady. She is eager to learn and is gaining confidence all the time. She will be a force to be reckoned with by the time she is a senior.

Rylae Jarmon – Calera

Rylae is our main captain.  She is extremely intelligent and confident.  She is a great leader and is an incredibly hard worker.  She will be a fierce competitor in future seasons.

BASEBALL

Jackson Miller and Micheal Lynch – Mount St Mary

Jackson has dealt with some injuries throughout his career and finally got a chance to pitch last year and was really good.  He will be one of our top returning arms this year and excited to see what he will do over the course of a full year on the mound. Michael leads our team bible study every friday morning and is one of best kids I have ever coached.

Gavyn Heppel and Parker Ireland – Hilldale

Gavyn is a good outfield and very solid hitter for us. Gavyn is just a kid you can depend on that doesn’t get all the recognition.. Parker does a great job on and off the field. He is a very good student and also a three sport athlete that does a great job for all three teams. Parker was a big part of our season last year and we have high expectations for him this year.

Cash Collins – Vian

Cash is a four-year letterman in baseball and shows animals in FFA.

Bode Hall and Draden Deloache – Tahlequah

Bode is a senior who will do much more for his teammates in the dugout and locker room than what will be noticed. Draden is a junior player who does everything he is supposed to and more and is a great example for our younger guys!

Kingston Arnold, Carson Cooper and Brett Reed – Calumet

Kingston plays wherever he needs to to help the team. He’s one of the better offensive players on the team as well as one of our top pitchers. He is an outstanding catcher, but also a very good infield. He bats the middle of our lineup and drives in a lot of runs with his gap to gap power. Carson has been in FFA for six years. He has been an officer for Calumet for the last three years. He is a first baseman on our team and has played a key role in the middle of our lineup. Brett moved in as a junior and has really contributed for us in the middle of our lineup. He plays third base, catcher, and pitches for us. He always has a great attitude on and off the field. He’s very respectful of his teachers, teammates, and people of the community.

Brock Natale – Broken Arrow

Outstanding young man that leads our team both on and off the field. Excellent in the classroom and work ethic is second to none. Will play second base this year after being our starting shortstop last year.

Nolan Muncy – Red Oak

He was a huge arm for us this fall. When this kid is at his best, he can really go compete with anybody and give us a chance to win. He has been a big reason we were able to win some of the games we won because of him competing on the mound. Big bat in our lineup as well, he is our three hole hitter and he has scored us a bunch of runs. I look forward to him continuing to make big leaps as an athlete and win big games for us this spring.

Cale McKinzie – Depew

He has been a big part of FFA his whole time here. He is part of the sporting clays team, archery and attends multiple wildlife contests. This kid loves the outdoors. Many times he comes in from practice straight from hunting all day and then goes right back out. He is also our go to guy if we need something fixed up or built around the field.

Luke Lundy, Kelton Arther and Cashton McIntire – Ripley

Fall stats BA .435 OB% 542 32 RBIs   However, Luke is a high character young man who always puts his teammates first . Attitude is always positive whether he is in or out of the line up . Great communicator, just wants to do whatever he can do to help his team and teammates win. Kelton (Jr P/2nd. .297 BA  .430 OB%) balances  FFA President -showing cattle at an extremely high level yet rarely misses a practice or game brings the same leadership qualities to the field that he uses off the field. Cashton is a senior catcher/pitcher/third baseman four-year starter. (BA .278 OB%.422.)  As a catcher cashton is a leader, communicator and one of the hardest working young men on the field. Cashton leads by example always coming up to put in extra work . Treats his teammates and coaching staff with respect always.

Ayden Cox – Gore

Ayden is a guy that is willing to do whatever is needed to help us be successful. He has faced a lot of adversity during his four years of high school athletics, but that does not keep him from working everyday to become a better player.

Lukas Olsen and Jacob Buller – Oklahoma Bible Academy

Lukas is a senior utility player, infielder and DH. He is positive and upbeat, coming to work everyday and a team player. He is a senior outfielder/pitcher, returning starter. Looking for great things for his final season.

Colten Anderson and Jaydin Moore – Lawton Eisenhower

Colten is a junior who will spend most of his time behind the dish. Colten is a converted catcher who’s learning and improving daily.  He has outstanding transfer skills and has spent the offseason working on posture and arm strength.  If the doors are open, Colten will be there with a smile and infectious enthusiasm. Jaydin is a senior and our vocal leader.  The coach’s right hand man, we can give Jaydin any task and know it will be done with precision and effort.  Jaydin is always quick to mentor younger players and help them out with a ride home or to the cage.

Hunter Weber – Hennessey

Hunter is a very selfless player and person. He will do whatever needs to be done to help his team out in any way possible. He is a typical role player that can be successful anywhere he is needed. Hunter also leads our guys off the field by making good decisions and being a class act student-athlete. He represents Hennessey Baseball very well.

Gunner Rohr, Brody Creed and Clayton Miller – Sequoyah Claremore

Gunner is a quiet intelligent young man that is a versatile baseball player at Sequoyah. He can play 2B, OF and pitch. Gunner will continue to develop as a quality player that will always get caught doing the right thing. Brody is a tough hard working young man that takes pride in his work on and off the field. Clayton is one of the sophomores that model the type of student-athlete that completes a team that will make any coach proud to lead. Clayton is one of the strongest arms on the team and continues to work hard on the field and in the weight room to grow to the next level.

Alex Jimenez – Putnam City West

Sophomore second-baseman that started as a freshman last year. He is a natural born leader that has grown and matured over the past year. Does everything the coach staff asks, stays late after practice for extra work. Athletic and talented with his swing, if he can get hot early in the season we will be set up for major success at the top of the line up and lead us to more wins.

Tucker Bloodworth, RJ Price and Reese Merrick – Dibble

Tucker is a senior who is a leader in the dugout by always being positive.  He will do whatever is asked of him to help our team succeed. RJ is an officer on the FFA officer team and also raises and shows pigs.  He will be a part of our pitching staff as a sophomore and also could be in the lineup day to day. Reese is a great teammate who will always be there for his team.  The character Reese shows on and off the field are exactly what coaches look for in their players.

Barrick Wano – Tonkawa

Barrick is the epitome of an unsung hero. He caught every game for us as a sophomore and hopefully will again this year as a junior. He is not a flashy player nor does he draw attention to himself but he does everything at a high level. He calls pitches during games and is a WIZARD with his glove. He steals multiple strikes for us every game. He’s smart, he’s funny, he’s hardworking. He is without a doubt our unsung hero because doesn’t expect anything in return. He is going to work hard every single day no matter what.

Hayden LeClair and Isaiah Branstetter – Ponca City

Hayden is the unsung hero, because he does all the dirty work. A kid that from a statistical standpoint might not stand out but finds ways to get the job done. He is a two-year starter as a senior and hoping that his role will grow a little bit more this year. He will play OF and Pitch for us in 2025. Great kid, who gives everything he has for his team. One of those kids that you’re glad that he is on your team and not the other. Isaiah is a good player, but even a better kid. This kid is a two-year starter as a junior who has gotten better every year. But the big thing about the kid is he is a special human being. Involved in church, STUCO, orchestra and other things that continue to push his leadership abilities. I look forward to seeing what this kid will do in his future after school.

Spencer Stinchcomb and Jackson Morgan – McAlester

He has been our starting 2nd baseman since his sophomore year. He is just a steady everyday player for us. Does nothing that just wows you but gets the job done day in and day out. Is our best returning hitter. Jackson Morgan has been with us for four years. Extreme high character guy. Does a great job leading our young guys.

Zack Jennins, Kole Childers and Cayden Carpenter – Bethel

Zack is a very good athlete. Starter on the basketball court, and plays the game hard. He is slotted to start at SS every game. He will hit in the middle of the lineup, and make a serious impact with the bat, but defensively he is special. He makes routine plays look boring. Cayden is a very hard working young man. Involved in FFA as well as shooting sports. Kole is a leader in all avenues on campus. FFA, student council, honor student.

Trace Duncan and Cale Metcalf – Hooker

Trace plays in the outfield most of the time and pitches some for us. He is very consistent in the field and at the plate and just gets the job done for us! Great kid that makes a big impact on all of the teams he plays on for us! Cale always shows up for everything and you can always count on him to do what you need! He’s a great kid that is super coachable.

Hayden Melzer, Briggs Reeves and Samuel Lindsey – Cordell

Hayden Melzer is a sophomore who plays primarily outfield and is a pitcher. While my knowledge of everyone and their experiences last year are limited, when I speak to people throughout the community, his name does not come up a lot and he is a good athlete with some potential in the sport of baseball and I believe that of all the kids that receive little to no recognition for their efforts, Hayden will be our biggest difference maker of that group of players. I think he has the potential to be a no. 4 in the rotation with some work. He is a quiet and easy going kid and I look forward to working to improve his game with him because the ability exists. Briggs is a freshman. He is involved in many things within the FFA chapter here at Cordell. He shows pigs, he is involved in shooting sports, along with many other things. He is currently recovering from an arm injury sustained during football season, but he will be back for the spring baseball season. Briggs will prove to be a very important piece to our HS baseball team this spring and many more spring seasons to come as he is very interchangeable as he can play catcher, all infield and outfield positions, and pitcher. Sam is a junior at Cordell High School. Any time I interact with Sam; I am very impressed with him. He is always respectful, he listens, and he leads through his actions and less with words. He is a great kid, willing to help anyone, with a bright future and I am proud to be able to coach the young man. He participates in many other extracurricular activities through the school such as Band and Football. Sam will play infield in the spring, and I believe Sam’s leadership will prove to be instrumental in the team’s success.

Alex Chapman, Carter Delmedico and Jeric Harrison – Fort Gibson

Alex is a 2B/RP. He is a savvy fielder. At the plate he consistently gets jobs done, whether it be a sac bunt or a hit and run, he’s the man for the job. He also pitches for us in a relief role. Typically he enters the game in a tough situation and keeps us in the game. Carter is a sophomore with a bright future. Carter splits time between FFA and baseball. Jeric is a hard working kid who keeps his head down and goes to work every single day.

Jose Rojas and Tres Sturdivan – Jones

(2026)- (SS/RHP) Jose was an everyday starter for us last year as a sophomore. He started up the middle for us, batted two hole, and was our weekend starter in our pitching rotation. Jose is a very polished defender with great hand eye coordination. His defensive skills at SS are second to none. Jose has committed himself to the weight-room this fall. Since Jose has added some muscle, the coaching staff envisions Jose being our #1 pitcher. We see his increase in velocity and has generated more pop with the bat this fall. Singles are turning into doubles! Look for Jose to make a name for himself this spring! Tres is one of our two seniors we have on our 2025 baseball team. Tres will be an everyday starter in the OF. He provides athleticism with his 6’3 frame! Tres can cover lots of ground in the OF and is a really good baserunner. Tres will provide pop to the middle of the order with his bat! Tres a tremendous role model on and off the field for our younger players! He is quiet with his voice but he leads by example. Tres is a 4.0 student and checks all the boxes you are looking for in a student-athlete! Look for Tres to have a big senior campaign!

William DeShields, Jace Higgins and AJ Romero – Pawnee

William is asked to play many roles for the team and does so unselfishly and with a great attitude. AJ does a great job balancing this baseball commitments with his FFA commitments, which is challenging for a spring sport athlete. Jace has unquestionable character both on & off the field.  Hardest worker on the team.

Cooper Donbins – Comanche

Pitcher 2B. good hitter. Sophomore.

JJ Burwell and Parker Collins – Collinsville

JJ is the dude that leads our pitching staff.  He is a guy that has thrown in big games the last two seasons.  He has stepped up as a leader in our program and we look forward to watching toe the rubber in every big game this year. Preston Willis Preston is a two-year starter who hits in the middle of our order.  He is a guy that you can count on to show up and give you everything he has each day.  He has become a leader in our program and we look forward to watching him help lead us back to the State Tournament. Parker is the glue guy in our program.  He is the guy that everyone looks up to because he is a great leader.  He will get to play a bigger role this year as he takes over the starting role in centerfield for us.  Parker is a great baseball player but he is an even better young man off the field.  We look forward to watching him help lead our guys back to State this year.

Tyler Keeling and Rush Herzog – Norman High

I admire this kid’s ability to overcome anything, show up everyday ready to work with no excuses.  He could have easily checked it in several times but didn’t because he is a tough kid and is determined to make something out of himself.  I root and pray for this kid everyday.  He is a 6’5′ RHP who will take on whatever role we ask him to do and not blink an eye. Knows how to pitch within his abilities and lets hitters get themselves out. Rush is very involved in the school’s FFA.  He is an officer and has won a lot of buckles.

Jax Slade, Axel Smithart and Noah Walker – Atoka

Jax is the ultimate teammate. He’s a hard worker and is always there. He’s everyone’s biggest supporter and always gives his best. Axel is a freshman that will catch as well as play outfield this spring. He is a very hard worker and is a big addition to our team. Noah is a great asset to our team. He is a key bat for us, as well as our first baseman.  He has great work habits and is a phenomenal teammate. He is heavily involved in campus as well as in his local church.

Blane Snell – Drumright

Blane will step into our Catching role after playing 2nd base for us last year. He is very comfortable there and we expect him to fill a huge role for us.

Connor Pratt and Brock Flanagan – Inola

Connor (senior)has been our starting SS the last 3yrs.  Defensively he is our anchor on the infield.  Every time he steps on the field he gives his teammates all he’s got every game.  Connor has signed to play baseball at Carl Albert Junior College. (senior) Brock returns his senior year as our ace on the mound.  Was selected 4A-6 District Pitcher of the Year last year.  Also, was selected to play in the Oklahoma State Games this past summer. Last year he tallied 49 K’s in 48 innings pitched.  His only loss on the season came in Regionals.  Brock has signed to play baseball at Connors State College.

Brodie Rogers, Ray Guzman, Rance Tucker and Griffin Marshall – Altus

Brodie is a guy that everyone looks at because of his experience and size, but doesn’t get the recognition, in my opinion, for what he does for us. My first year at Altus, he was our starting catcher. Last year, he spent most of his time at first base, but still caught some innings because he wanted to help the team. He will definitely do both this year to lessen the workload on our other catchers. Brodie is resilient and I learned that the most about him last year after a slow start. He kept at it, put in the work, and put the team first to catch fire in April and hit over .400 for the remainder of the season. Brodie is going to have a valuable piece in our success this year, and definitely receive some recognition for what he does for the program. Ray is the crafty, scrappy, little dude that everyone in our program loves. The dude just PLAYS and does whatever is asked of him as long as it helps the team. Ray was a guy that I connected with immediately in my first year and was able to build a good relationship with from the jump. He will bring experience back to the mound for his junior campaign and look to build on and expand his offensive production this year. He will stay in the middle infield being a mainstay at 2B, but sliding over to SS when we need him to. Rance is by-far the most involved player within the FFA program. He is involved in multiple activities including Quiz Bowl and Rodeo. As a program, we will be working closely with FFA because of my connection with the program so Rance will be a leader in his own right when it comes to all things FFA. Griffin is just an all-around solid kid. He is successful in baseball, leading us in ERA from a year ago, and he is successful in life. He is currently working on an internship within Altus Public Schools for Public Relations and an Oklahoma Sports Network intern.

Rider Wilson, Kylin Blue and Chris Daniels – Muskogee

Rider is a Junior first baseman and pitcher for us. He is a great kid and has worked extremely hard. He has gotten exponentially better since his days as a junior high player. He always does what is asked of him and he picks up the slack of others. We are proud of his work ethic and the man he has become. Kylin is a senior outfielder and pitcher for us. He is a good teammate and he always boosts team morale. He is currently recovering from a knee injury, but is hopeful that we will have him for the season.  Kylin also plays a major role in the Muskogee High School FFA program. He is an officer for the organization, and represents the program well while showing pigs, and competing in different events. Chris is a junior outfielder and baserunner for us. He always does a good job representing the program. He makes straight A’s in the classroom, and has never been in trouble at school or at baseball. He is a great kid, and I enjoy having him in the program.  I wish I had more guys like him.

Atticus Booth – Duncan

Atticus is a 2026 kid, works hard, and is a great kid. Will do anything he is asked. The big way he helped our team in 2024 was that he was able to play SS when our regular SS pitched.

Brody McCollum and Jase Burris – Coalgate

Brody is a senior that does a lot for our team. He is our ace on the staff and he is our leadoff hitter this year. He has been working hard this offseason to be better than he was last year. He is the kind of player that loves to win, and will do anything he can to give us that chance. Jase is a great kid on and off the field. He is a hard working kid that wants to get better everyday. He is very respectful and acts the right way. He is a sophomore, and we expect him to help us on the mound and in the batters box.

Aidan Sainer – Central Sallisaw

Aidan plays football, basketball and baseball he’s been a major part of the tigers success in all three sports he will play center field and leadoff for the Tigers.

Nate Rains – Perkins-Tryon

Nate played outfield for us on many occasions last year and came up with some clutch catches in big situations. He will likely be a key part of our pitching staff this year.

Shawn Phelps and Kody Gibson – Skiatook

Shawn is a senior who is going to play a major role in the direction of our club. He plays outfield and runs the bases extremely well. Kody is a senior who is one of the best kids on and off the field. He is a hard worker and will do whatever is asked of him.

Kaden Romesburg and Hunter Shea – Bartlesville

Kaden returns as a starting outfielder and starting pitcher for us this year as a senior. He’s very fast, athletic and has been working very hard the last two years. He will be a big contributor to our team. Hunter is a great kid – great teammate. Will be a senior this year and has always been a high character kid for us.

Grant Reeves, Jake Harris, Baylor Murray, Nathan Dean and Conner Pierce – Oklahoma Union

Grant, SR RHP, C, OF, 2B. Grant is a player that every coach wishes they had. He is versatile in every position, provides support and leadership, and works great in helping develop the younger players. Grant plays football, basketball, and baseball for the Cougars and his presence is felt in every sport that he plays. He has a high motor and is constantly going and being a vocal leader on and off the field.

Jake, SR, OF, Utility. Jake is one of those players that his attitude can light up a dugout. Jake is always providing support and leadership to the team and allows his speed to cover a large area in the outfield.

Baylor Murray, SR, OF, RHP.  Baylor, another multi sport athlete with football and baseball, brings a DH power with his solid hitting. Baylor (and Bodee West) led the team in home runs last year and showcased in outfielding skills in the regional games last season against Haskell. Nathan, SR, RHP, 2B, 1B. Nate is another multiple sport athlete from basketball and baseball. Nate is very active in Ag and in FFA from showing horses and cattle and has been to OYE several times. Dean brings another senior leadership to our team full of seniors. He is a stand out character and a vocal leader. Connor Pierce, SR, RHP, 3B. Connor is the backbone of the Cougar team. He provides confidence and leadership to the Cougars and has been working with several of the younger players. Connor is a multiple sport athlete of football, basketball, and baseball.  Connor brings a vocal and physical leadership to our team with his actions on and off the field. Connor provides a needed stability to our infield at 3rd and has kept the Cougars active in games with his pitching. Connor is the example of what it means to be a Cougar baseball player with his achievements on and off the field and what it means to be a leader.

Braden Dougherty and Jack Guinn – Piedmont

Braden is a wonderful kid!  He has had to battle through so much adversity as a player.  Braden tore his ACL as a freshman and again as a sophomore.  He tore both while base running during scrimmage season. He made the decision last year as a junior to become just a pitcher and did well enough to earn a varsity uniform and see time in some varsity games.  When he isn’t pitching he is always helping the team and making the coaches job much easier.  He may not play the most or have the greatest statistics, but he makes an impact on our team and program! Not only is Jack a very valuable player to this program, he is the model when it comes to how to act.  Jack is the hardest working player in our program bar none.  It doesn’t matter if he is doing school work (4.25 GPA), lifting weights, practicing, etc., Jack is out done by no one.  His character is exceptional.  He is the type of kid you would want your daughter to marry.  Jack can also play too.  He was our DH and closer all of last year.  As a sophomore last year he hit .287 with 5 2B, 3 3B, 1 HR, 18 RBI and was 4-1 on the mound with 4 S, 26 2/3 IP, 29 SO, 24 BB, 4.98 ERA.  Our program motto is Person, Student, Player in that order and he is the embodiment of that motto!

Landon is a junior that currently has a knee injury that is going to prevent him from playing this spring.  Landon has always been a very unselfish player and an even greater human being. You will have a hard time finding too many as kind-hearted and always looking for ways to help others as Landon. You can’t talk about Landon without talking about his character for sure.

James Childers and Keller Shockey – Rattan

James is one of our go to guys. He is the same type of player as Canyon and Kobe. He can do it all and is probably our best athlete. Keller is a senior starter. He has all the characteristics of a player/young man that you want. Hard work, discipline and determination are what he stands for.

Cameron Carlile, Bryce Mouse and Wyatt McConnell – Elk City

Cam moved in last year and made an impact early.  He is able to play multiple positions.  He played left field, first base and pitcher.  He is an athletic young man that we are able to move around the field.  We look for Cam to have a great year on the mound and at the plate. Wyatt is one of the hardest working young men we have.  He has made himself into a player that we have to get on the field.  Wyatt is always willing to do whatever it takes to help the team.  He played multiple positions for us last year, this year we expect him to be in right field.  As a junior he hit .326 with 7 doubles and 1 home run. Not only is Bryce a tremendous talent on the field, he is also a young man of high character.  Bryce will be our #1 guy on the mound this season.  Last year he went 9-0 with a 1.524 ERA, BBA .125 and 48 K’s.  Off the field Bryce is a 4.0 student and member of the National Honor Society and President of the Elk City FCA.

Gabe is a very talented athlete who plays outfield, infield, catcher and will be pitching for us some. He is a good hitter with good speed, the fastest player on our team. He will also steal lots of bases for us. He is an excellent student, a stand up guy who is well respected by his teammates, coaches and staff at school.

Coming into his senior year, Braden has started every game behind the plate. He is a plus first baseman but is so important behind the plate. His baseball IQ is off the charts. He understands how to manage a pitching staff, call a game, and is a plus hitter to all fields. He is the energy starter and leader of our team, and will be a huge pick up for any college. Cason has been a quality outfielder and a huge part of our pitching rotation for the last four years. Even though he excels on the basketball court and the baseball diamond, Cason has put back into his community. Helping with Special Education Programs, working with Little League teams, refereeing Little League games, and running youth baseball and basketball camps, he maintained a 4.0 GPA and was in the top 10 percent in his class academically. Kreid is coming back from an injury and we are very excited to get him back on the field for his junior year. He will hit in the meat of our lineup and play multiple positions on the field. He had a very strong summer when he got cleared to play ball and looks to be a huge part of our playoff run this spring! Parker will likely be our lone senior, he does it all. Plays all sports, involved in FFA, and works really hard. He will see a lot of innings on the mound this year, and typically plays first base when not pitching. He has good pop in his bat and very capable of small ball as well with great speed out of the left handed batters box, Parker is a very coachable young man. Wyatt is a very high character young man. Typically he will hit 4 or 5 holes in our line up. He was our #1 pitcher as a sophomore last spring and we will look to lean on him this year as a junior. Strong athlete who always goes his hardest in all he does.

Antonio Balderas and Kaulum Vester – Snyder

Antonio is a baseball player that has played for me since he was in Tee Ball. He started with his cousins and always played up in the next age group. This I feel has helped him to become the player he is today. He is a solid player and can play any position on the field. He is a very fast player and can cover a lot of ground in any position you put him in. We are going to ask this kid again to play different positions in places that we may have holes to fill. His attitude is whatever he needs to do to help the team. Kaulum was a player that helped our high school team last season when he was asked to step up and start late in the season. He is a great kid and works very hard to get better each day. We look for him to step up even more his Sophomore season.

Tayton Threet, Karson Smith and Jace Fent – Wyandotte

Preston Kutej – Southmoore

Preston is one of our sophomores to watch this spring. He found himself in the lineup quite often his freshman year which hopefully prepared him for what to expect from 6A baseball in the state of Oklahoma. He is a speedy outfielder who has taken significant steps forward with his bat this offseason. We expect him to step into his role within our lineup and execute our offense for him to find his success for the 2025 campaign.

Gabe Peeler – Depew

Offensively, Jayven has been in the weight room for over a year and the increased strength he’s brought has added pop to his bat.  In addition to getting stronger, Jayven has spent the offseason improving his plate approach and discipline.  We’re looking for Jayven to add depth and pop to the middle/bottom of our lineup.

Levi Ferrell – Hennessey

Levi is a sophomore who started for us as a freshman. He had to grow up quickly to compete at a varsity level. He has shown a lot of improvement and growth in his sophomore year. Levi is an important player for us on the mound, offensively, and defensively.

Cadence Smith – Putnam City West

Fast, athletic, and highly skilled freshman. Plays travel ball with the ranked SBA Bolts out of North Texas. He will start in CF and lead-off for us. Once his feet get settled underneath him and he gets comfortable, he will become a huge asset to the Putnam City West program for years to come.

Cale is a freshman who we expect to be able to find his way into the starting lineup in the outfield.  He also will be an asset on the mound as part of our pitching staff.

Loudyn Alexander – Tonkawa

Loudyn will be a sophomore. He started his freshman season at 2B until an injury sidelined him for the remainder of the season. He should see significant playing time and we’ll lean on him to be a good arm for us on the mound. Loudyn has a chance to be a tremendous catalyst for us offensively. If he can find a way on base he can almost score without any help. We’re really excited about seeing him develop over the next few years. He’s also a great kid who will do anything we ask of him.

Juan Chavez – Ponca City

Juan Chavez is a sophomore middle infielder. He has a chance to be a really good player for us here at Ponca City. I’m excited to see how he handles the process and adversities of a 37-game season. He will play a big role for us here at Ponca City.

Started in the outfield for us last year as a sophomore. He is an unbelievable athlete. Can track them down in the outfield and when he gets on first he will be standing on third before you can blink an eye.

Maddox Davis – Bethel

Maddox is an OF/RHP for us. He has amazing speed for a young player, and a great swing. He works hard, and loves to win. Maddox is also the starting quarterback for the Bethel Football program, so he brings a different level of intensity to the field.

Kinser Todd – Cordell

Kinser Todd is a 6’2″ sophomore and plays infield and pitches. This young man has a lot to learn but he has the talent. I believe he can have a great year as long as he keeps a good attitude and does not allow negative outcomes to affect his play. He will be a top three guy on the mound for us. He should have a huge year there with a lot of production and wins to go with it. Really excited and interested to see how well he is able to play with now having a year of HS ball under his belt!

Chase Meissner – Fort Gibson

Chase is a tough kid who will hold down 3rd base for us this year. He has plus speed and a good approach at the plate.

Jett Rogers – Jones

(2027) (IF/RHP). Jett started in over half our games last season as a Freshman. He is a very solid defender that can play any IF position, he’s a competitor on the mound, and an advanced LH hitter. Most young hitters will swing at bad pitches and refuse to take their walks. Not Jett, he has great zone awareness and the ability to hit the ball to all parts of the field. His contagious positive attitude makes him the total package. Look for Jett to put his name on the map this spring!

Offensively, he is now more physical and is going to be a threat for extra base hits this spring. Great leader and fantastic teammate.  Exactly the type of guy you want to be the catcher.  We are very fortunate to have him.

Remington Hendon – Atoka

Remington is a freshman. He will play some outfield and catch as well. Remington is a versatile player that will help us offensively as well.

Jack is a letter-winner from a year ago as a freshman and is in competition for a starting position for the upcoming season. Jack could see time in the infield and outfield this year and we are looking for great things out of him.

Owen Gilliam – Muskogee

Owen is a sophomore infielder and pitcher for us. He started for the varsity team as a freshman, and ended up being one of our better pitchers by the end of the year. This season, we will look to Owen to help us out on the mound, play on the infield, and be one of our better hitters in the lineup. He is a great kid and competitor.

Ty Lane – Duncan

You will see a big difference in Cooper this year than you did his freshman season. He is one to definitely watch out for.

Blake Goff – Stigler

Blake is a sophomore that will be a big arm for us on the mound. When he’s not pitching he will be playing in the outfield and hitting somewhere in the middle of the lineup. Outside of soccer, she is student body president and the chairman of S.T.I.N.G., Students Thriving in Neighborly Goodness. The STING organization is to help a member of the community raise money for medical costs. She is continuously seeking to make herself better as well as those around her.

Hadley McGrew, Ta’Nei West and Haylee Dunlap – Catoosa

Hadley McGrew is a sophomore that can play anywhere on the field. She has played a lot of soccer on many quality club teams. She has a wide range of qualities in her game. She is a tremendous ball striker, has a good first touch, she is strong on the ball and a strong tackler. I honestly don’t know what position she will play this year, but I do know she will be on the field as much as possible. She can play up top in the forward areas, in the midfield, or lead the backline as a center back. She scored several goals and had several assists her freshman season and I’m looking forward to seeing how much she can impact our games this season! Ta’Nei West is our senior goalkeeper, captain, and team leader. She is coming off an acl injury that she suffered last year during basketball season. Ta’Nei is a great competitor and hard worker, but she is an even better person away from the field. She is very involved in her church, she is a leader in the school, she is president of the FFA, and she makes everywhere she goes more fun and an overall better place to be. The future is very bright for Ta’Nei! Haylee Dunlap is a senior defender. Haylee is one of the hardest workers and toughest players on our team. Haylee has matured so much on the field and off. She always comes ready to practice or play with a great attitude. She always goes full speed and does whatever you ask her to do with no questions asked. She has suffered several injuries but always toughs it out when it matters. Hopefully we will get to see a fully healthy year from her. Haylee has the ability to play at the next level and should be able to make that happen.

Carsten Reamy – Skiatook

Carsten Reamy, a senior this year, is underrecognized for his contributions to the team, and he’s undoubtedly one of Skiatook’s unsung heroes. Carsten played on varsity for all four years of his high school playing career, three of those years as an every game starter. Carsten anchors our defense, serving as one of our center backs. Carsten’s work ethic and commitment to the team is unparalleled, and he serves as a positive role model for his teammates.

Brayden Fredrick – MacArthur

Braydon is a deadly player that can go cold for an entire match and pull off a wonderful moment of skill and get us back into the game or create the game winning moment.

Harry Smith – Crossings Christian

Harry Smith will be a four-year starter at center midfielder. He is relentless, does all the dirty work in the midfield.  Wins 50/50 balls, great in the air, has the ability to make all the passes and he can finish.

Austin Reynaga and Carlos De la Fuente – Clinton

Junior, outside forward, three-year starter.

He started for us as a freshman. He is often overlooked due to the strong senior players we’ve had the last few years, even though he has been one of the leaders in scoring with goals and assists. I anticipate Austin getting a lot more recognition for his play on the field over the next few years. Carlos – Senior, outside back, three-year starter. Carlos provides the energy and attitude for our team, he sets our pace in practice and the other players feed off of his energy. He is a great kid with a strong work ethic. He shows up ready to practice and lead our team everyday. You will always find him with a great attitude and a smile on his face.

Ashlee Feigenbaum and Avery Miller – Charles Page

Ashlee Feigenbaum, a senior on the Sandite Girls Soccer Team, is the epitome of hard work and dedication. Known for doing the little things that make the team successful, Ashlee consistently leads by example both on and off the field. Her commitment to excellence is evident in her work ethic—she never misses a practice and always pushes herself and her teammates to be better. A true leader, Ashlee has been a driving force for the team over the past few years, inspiring those around her with her determination and positive attitude. Her quiet yet impactful leadership will be greatly missed when she graduates, but her legacy of hard work and team-first mentality will leave a lasting mark on the program. Avery Miller is a standout leader, not only for the Sandite Girls Soccer Team but in every aspect of her life. Her character shines both on and off the field, making a positive impact wherever she goes. Avery’s attitude and kind nature resonate with everyone she interacts with, whether it’s on the soccer field, at school, or in the community. She leads by example, showing that character truly counts, and her influence extends far beyond the game. Avery is a role model for her teammates and peers, demonstrating that true leadership is rooted in kindness, respect, and a commitment to making those around her better.

Rilynn Lamborn – Edison Prep

Rilynn is a freshman who is a focused talented player on both sides of the ball. A coachable, team player, who gives 110% all the time.

Landen Fitz – Charles Page HS

Landen Fitz is the unsung hero of the Sandite Boys Soccer Team, known for his ability to excel in the little things that make a big impact. As a junior, Fitz was called upon to fill multiple roles on defense, stepping up from the start of the season when the team was still finding its rhythm, and continuing to shine through a series of unexpected injuries. A quiet leader on the back line, Fitz’s smart play, consistent defensive presence, and unwavering commitment to excellence have been crucial to the team’s success. His steady and dependable contributions make him an invaluable asset to the Sandites.

Kaylen Stephens and Claire Lieser – Glenpool

Kaylen is a junior that is a true program kid. She shows up everyday, works hard, and is a leader by actions not words. A kid that makes a huge difference on and off the field. Claire makes a difference in everything she does. Always doing what’s right and making sure her faith is at the front of it all.

Brooklyn Ross and Brooklyn Cox – Wagoner

Brooklyn is a senior who will be starting all four-years for Wagoner Girls Soccer. The other players look at her as the team leader who cares about her teammates. She holds our defense together as our sweeper in the back. She never misses practice and comes to practice being the positive leader that a team needs each and every day. Brooklyn is a returning starter and is our center midfielder. The junior was our second leading scorer last year and led the team in assists. She brings heart, determination, and grit everyday whether it be on the soccer field or in the classroom. She strives to be the best at every endeavor she attempts.

Kaylee Gibson – Bixby

Kaylee is a senior this year who comes to us from Summit.  Kaylee is probably one of the best attacking players I have seen in Bixby HS Soccer the last six years and could possibly be in 6A this year.  She works on and off the ball to score goals or to help her teammates out as best as she can.  She is truly an all around teammate and player.  She has helped numerous players pass their eight minute mile this year by pacing them.  She will continue her soccer career at the University of Tampa in Florida next year.

Kristian Perez, Rylon Arnold and Jonathan Garcia Mata – Woodward

Kristian, also known as “KP” , is a 5 ‘4 cannonball. He plays the game at high speed and reads the field very well. We have used him more as a utility player and for good reason. When asked where he plays, he gives the educated answer “Wherever you need me”. KP is a sophomore who got the opportunity to join a very young varsity squad in 2024 as a Freshman. The limitations that others set on him did not hold him back as he was able to see the field and compete with some of the top programs in the state. KP is coming into this season with a competitive passion and a willingness to do what is necessary to build success. KP can play with both feet and loves to get the ball served his way. He will somewhat remain a utility player for us in this upcoming season.  We expect him to be a part of our build up in the middle of the field and wouldn’t be surprised to see a couple goals attached to his name at the end of the season. Rylon is a part of the FFA Shooting Sports team here at Woodward and has received multiple accolades the past two years here at the High School. I’ve lost track of how many State Championships he and his teammates have acquired. Rylon has stepped up big time in such a short year. He has fully committed to work towards improving himself daily and strives to achieve the goals he has set out for himself. I believe that Rylon will continue to grow and be the difference for the better in whatever organization he becomes a part of. Jonathan Garcia is our Senior Goalkeeper this season. He is a hard working, always smiling type of individual. Jonathan aka “Jon Jon” is a high quality teammate and supporter of everyone he is associated with. Jon Jon has a GPA of 3.65 and works full time hours to help support his Mom and younger sibling all while completing high school at an honorable level.

Jon Jon oftentimes took care of field duties or bus cleanup after our road games.

Jon Jon is always “stand by ready”. Last season, he found himself in the Varsity group for the first time sitting behind Senior Goalkeeper Derrek Morales. In the middle of one of our games, our starting keeper (Derrek) was involved in a collision and I signaled Jon Jon to get warmed up. A few minutes goes by , Derrek returns to play after brushing off the contact hit and communication between officials and such. Play resumes and I hear from the bench, “Coach, do you think Jon Jon might be warmed up yet” with a chuckle. Jon Jon had continued to warm up for 10 minutes waiting for my signal to enter the field. That’s the type of character he possesses. Our team is better having a player like Jon Jon on it.

Brady Powers, Zeke Porter and Coltin Crabtree – Sapulpa

Brady comes in everyday with the right energy and leadership. He is very vocal and people on the team look up to him. He is a player that has been starting all four years! Zeke is a kid that is talented at everything he does, he has been involved with many programs within the school. He is an excellent soccer player as well. Coltin is one of the kids who transferred to us and has made an instant impression on and off the field. He comes in with the right attitude and takes a leadership role within the program. Players listen when he speaks!

Katen Bottorff and Kinzie Doss – Bartlesville

Katen, a senior this year, is the exact teammate and player you would want in a team. She is super caring about those she calls her teammates and she is always willing to offer a helping hand no matter what. Katen is a great role-model and leader, she motivates others, and does not hesitate to reach out and help her younger classed teammates. When it comes to character and characters that count, Kinzie Doss has got it down. Kinzie is always amped up and encouraging her teammates, she is extremely helpful and is someone that her younger teammates and even older teammates can rely on. She does a very good job at keeping the level whether in training or in games, and she is not afraid to speak her mind or fight for her team. Kinzie is a role-model athlete on and off the field and she is always putting in the work to better herself and those around her.

Chrysanna Harter and Daneysi Zamarripa – Commerce

She is always willing to do the little things that make a big difference. Her hard work, reliability, and team-first mentality often go unnoticed but are essential to the team’s success. Daneysi is a standout player who is always setting an example with her hard work, sportsmanship, positive attitude, and enthusiasm.

Luke Saunders and Ethan Schroeder – Tulsa Edison

Luke is our captain and is our leader of the team.  Luke is a very hard worker and is the coach on the field. Ethan is a very polite young man that does well on the field and in the classroom. Comes from a family of educators.

Cameron Stout and Brody Haraway – Hilldale

Cam has been our starting GK for the past 3 years. Cam was our team MVP season and stepped up in every major game making big saves to keep us in close games. Goalkeepers often go unnoticed and are often the “Unsung Heroes” of the team. Brody is our captain. He is the main difference maker of the team. Brody is involved off the field with multiple school organizations. He is one of our most successful academic students. He’s the example of what you want out of a student athlete all around.

Elizabeth Killian and Riley Harris – Piedmont

Elizabeth is a great teammate and one of the hardest workers on the team. She will always give her best to her teammates on and off the field. Riley is the most selfless player on our team. She is a great friend to the girls, and is also a leader. Riley is a player who will always do what’s right for the team and put everyone on the team before herself.

Haven Dennis and Levi Cartwright – Bristow

Haven is a senior this season, he has proven to be one of the hardest working and most humble players we have.  On any given evening Haven will be at the field practicing. Haven is an exceptional student and is a fine example of what our team stands for. Levi is a sophomore, last year he was thrown into a difficult situation starting as an outside back playing against some of the best teams in 3A.  Although he had his ups and downs he grew as a player and as an individual.  Levi is always upbeat and willing to contribute when/wherever he is needed.

Teya Bigknife and Olivia Staton – Owasso

Teya Bigknife is a center mid for our team. She is one of the hardest working kids you will ever meet or watch play. She contributes to our team when we have the ball and when we don’t. She finds a way to make an impact in every single game to help us. Teya is currently committed to play at the college level at Benedictine College. Olivia is a phenomenal person off the field. Olivia is a senior on our team that is part of our leadership council this year. Our team currently does team bonding every Thursday that is organized and run by our seniors but Olivia plays a huge role in making those team building sessions happen every Thursday. She also checks in constantly on our underclassmen to make sure they are doing well. Olivia always comes to our extra team events as well and participates in reading books to our elementary school kids, and is always at our kids camps helping the younger kids learn about soccer.

Diego Ortega and Colt Campbell – Stillwater

Diego has been a starter since his sophomore year. He is a man of great character and leadership. He does the little things which help our team to succeed without any fanfare. Colt is the engine that makes the team run. His energy is contagious. He is a wonderful young man. He gets everyone involved and helps those that need it.

Madison Rochdi and Samantha Curtis – El Reno

Madison Rochdi, a dedicated junior on the El Reno High School Girls Soccer Team, exemplifies the spirit of an Unsung Hero. With a relentless work ethic and a selfless attitude, she consistently puts the team’s success above her own, making crucial contributions that often go unnoticed. Whether it’s winning tough battles on the field or supporting her teammates, Madison is the glue that holds the team together, embodying the true meaning of teamwork. Samantha Curtis is a hardworking junior who shines both on and off the field, earning her a well-deserved spot in the FFA Spotlight. Her superior work ethic allows her to excel as a key member of the El Reno High School Girls Soccer Team while successfully managing the demands of being actively involved in FFA. Sam demonstrates outstanding leadership, time management, and dedication, proving she can balance the challenges of athletics and agriculture with remarkable success.

Caden Hudgins and Alex Sanders – Edmond Santa Fe

Caden is a leader with tons of experience. He has fought through the negative years and really stayed locked in. Alex has high character, and is a great young man. Volunteers with special ed at school and other programs.

Gracie Holmes and Angie Perez – Union

This player has also been a major contributor since she was a freshman. She is always willing to do whatever the team needs, steps up big when we need her, and has a fantastic attitude. Angie is always consistent, always trustworthy, and a great teammate.

Dalen Jackson – Wagoner

Dalen may be the hardest-working kid I’ve coached in the past three years.  He’s a naturally gifted athlete with incredible speed, spatial awareness, and quality footwork.  He is also incredibly versatile.  He has played quality minutes at forward, wing, and outside back.  Because of his ability to track down attackers and shut them down, he often didn’t get to play his desired position at forward.  However, he never complained about it.  He just went out and performed!  There were several games last year in which he was the difference between winning and losing that particular match.  No matter who was on the field, I can guarantee that Dalen outhustled every single one of them.

Marin Fink and Lizzie Garza – Verdigris

Sophomore.

Marin is absolutely tireless and gives complete effort the entire game. She is a terrific leader and helps her teammates on the field.

Freshman stats – 10 Goals 11 Assists.

Lizzie Garza is a sophomore. She has impressive speed and works hard on and off the field. She has a positive impact on our team.

Trevin Goff, Corbin Bordwine and Manuel Torres – Catoosa

Every great team has a player who does the work no one else notices, and for the Catoosa Indians, that player is Trevin Goff. As a defensive outside back, Trevin doesn’t score the goals or make the flashy plays, but his tireless effort keeps the team running smoothly. He’s the first to break up an opponent’s attack, the one sacrificing his body for a block, and the player who always makes the smart, unselfish pass to start a counterattack. Trevin’s dedication, grit, and team-first mentality don’t always grab headlines, but his teammates know they wouldn’t succeed without him playing a crucial position on the back line. Corbin Bordwine is the perfect example of hard work paying off both on and off the field. As a forward for the Catoosa Indians, he’s known for his relentless effort to put the opposition under pressure. Corbin’s talents don’t stop there—he’s also an active member of the Future Farmers of America (FFA), where he excels in agricultural projects and leadership roles.  Whether it’s plowing through defenders or presenting at an FFA competition, Corbin’s passion and dedication shine through in everything he does. Manuel Torres is more than just a talented soccer player; he’s a true role model for the Catoosa Indians. Known for his integrity and sportsmanship. Manuel leads by example on and off the field. Whether it’s helping a teammate with a tough drill, showing respect to referees and opponents, or staying after practice to pick up equipment, Manuel’s actions reflect his strong moral compass. His positive attitude and willingness to lift others up make him an invaluable teammate and a respected figure in the school community. He proves that true greatness comes not only from skill but from the character you show every day.

Kayten Donley, Denton Jaggers and Ethan Herren – Bethany

Kayten is a three-year starter and will be one of if not the most important players on the field.  Kayten plays center back, but can also play in the middle and up top.  Kayten was one of our leading scorers last year, and played limited minutes at attacking positions.  Kayten has a very long throw and can be a weapon anytime we are in the other team’s half of the field. Denton is our center back but was second in goals last year, most of them coming off corner kicks, and most of the goals were game winning goals.  Denton is big and physical and a great leader.  Denton does our dirty work without expecting praise or recognition, but we go as he goes, and everyone follows him. Ethan Herren spent all of last season hurt with a torn acl.  Ethan is very vocal about his faith, and arguably one of our hardest workers.  Ethan brings positive energy and is a person who makes all the right choices outside of school and athletics.  He is very involved at church and small groups and is a great kid to have on your team.

Sydney Miller and Allie Foster – Duncan

Sydney is a very smart player. She has an unmatched passion for the sport and it shows with her play. Outstanding ball control and balance and very coachable. She was asked to move to a new position after playing the same position her whole life. She made the switch without any complaints and it helped the team succeed. Allie is one of the kindest people I’ve ever coached. She cares about people and makes sure to include everyone in everything she does. On and off the field she is someone that people like to be around. She is always mentioned as one of the best teammates on the team.

Holden Richardson and Adam Froelich – Edmond North

Holden is one of the hardest workers on the team and plays great fundamental soccer. He doesn’t usually score the goals but he does most of the work to get the ball down the field. Adam is a class act. He is a great teammate on the field helping serve in any situation and he is one of the teachers favorites at school.

Gracie Stobaugh and Katelyn ¨Katie¨  Schmidt – Sapulpa

Gracie is an incoming freshman that has played the last three years on my MS team as defender. In the Sapulpa FFA chapter, she did a year of opening and closing ceremonies in which she placed at multiple competitions. She placed second in the state with her Agriscience Project as well as competing in the Greenhand quiz. Katie is the most hard working, honest, dependable and outstanding young lady I have been honored to coach.  She NEVER gives less than 100% on and off the field,  She played on our MS team and then on varsity last year as a freshman. I am also her PreAP Honors Algebra 2 teacher and her effort in the classroom is just as amazing as her effort on the field.  EVERYONE on our team absolutely loves her and would do anything she does for our team and coaching staff.

Faith Watts, Abigal Rogers and Juliette Whited – Cleveland

Faith gives her all when she steps onto the field.  Even in games where we are down she does not let the score affect her game play.  She continually gives 100% every time she puts on our uniform.  Her growth over the last 3 years has made her a valuable member of our team.  She does not let any player intimidate her and faces any challenge that comes across her path without hesitation. Abigal has been a part of our FFA program for several years competing in showing, judging, and speaking competitions.  She has grown to earn a starting spot on our roster and will continue to improve as she gets older. Juliette is as positive a personality as any one person can be.  She is by far the friendliest, and most cheerful player on our team.  If anyone ever needs some positivity they know to look for her.  Even in the hallways, before and after class/practice she is the most cheerful person and it is contagious amongst our players.

Rebekah Walker and Megan Clark – Skiatook

Bekah is a senior and has been a starter since she was a freshman. Bekah plays mostly on the defensive side of the ball for us and sometimes unfortunately defenders’ efforts go unnoticed. However, Bekah is a key player for us and has played a major role in our success over the years. Megan will be a senior this year. She saw a lot of playing time last year and we are excited to see what she can do as a senior leader. Megan is a great kid with a great attitude. She is a fantastic teammate, always putting others before herself and setting a good example. Megan is a wonderful example of what it means to be a Lady Bulldog.

Jairo Velarde and Elijah Click – Kingfisher

Jairo Velarde brings a level of toughness and determination that defines Kingfisher soccer. As a key defender, Jairo has become the backbone of the team’s defense, using his physicality and leadership to anchor the back line. Though football has long been Jairo’s primary sport, his competitive spirit and relentless drive to win have made him an invaluable part of the soccer team. On the field, he’s a fierce competitor who never shies away from a challenge, whether it’s a hard tackle, or shutting down an opponent’s attack. Jairo’s skillset goes beyond his physical play—he’s also a natural leader. His strong communication keeps the defense organized, while his example of grit and determination inspires his teammates to give their all. Jairo understands that winning takes effort and heart, and he brings both to every game. Kingfisher is lucky to have a player like Jairo Velarde—someone who fights for every ball, leads with passion, and embodies what it means to play for the team. Elijah Click is more than just a talented athlete—he’s the kind of person every team dreams of having. As Kingfisher soccer’s starting goalkeeper this season, Elijah is stepping into the spotlight after serving as a reliable rotational player last year. His dedication to improvement and his calm, steady presence in goal make him a vital piece of the team’s puzzle. But Elijah’s impact isn’t limited to the field. He’s a true character-first athlete, embodying leadership, integrity, and a commitment to excellence in everything he does. Beyond soccer, Elijah is actively involved in numerous organizations, but he shines brightest through his work with his Federated Church youth group. His faith and service to others set a powerful example for his teammates and peers. Elijah’s ability to balance his athletic commitments with his passion for community involvement speaks volumes about his character. He approaches life with the same focus and determination that he brings to defending the net, making him a role model both in and out of uniform. As this season unfolds, Kingfisher soccer is proud to have Elijah Click guarding the goal and setting the standard for what it means to be a student-athlete. His leadership, work ethic, and heart make him a standout player and an even better person.

Ruby Rowe and Layni Kositzky – Crossings Christian

Ruby Rowe is a senior leader. The way she plays and carries herself encourages her teammates to do the same. She approaches everything she does with an attitude of hard work and it is a contagious attitude. Layni does all the small things needed to be a successful player, teammate, and person. No one is too small or too big for Layni, she cares for each of them individually and personally.

Janelle Fleischer and Hana Schuerch – Southmoore

Junior- Janelle is an all around great soccer player who is always willing to play anywhere to help the team succeed. She played mostly forward last year but moved into the midfield when needed. This year we had to replace both center backs that graduated and she stepped up to take on that role. It is a role she has absolutely thrived in. Senior- Hana is an incredible teammate and student. She currently has a 4.3 GPA and she is someone we know we can count on to do the right thing 100% of the time. She recently tore her ACL for the second year in a row but she continues to show up to encourage and support her teammates even though she is missing out on playing her senior year. She is incredibly selfless and humble.

Addie Rice and Lanette Cavazos – Pryor

Addie was a starter last year in every game and was one of two players that was usually never substituted.  She scored a goal in the state finals as well.  She is not the most physically imposing player but does things consistently well.  We look forward to her being even more of an impact player this year as a sophomore. Lanette is a great kid.  She will be relied upon more this year as a junior and possibly a starter this season.  She does her best at everything, has a positive attitude about everything, and works hard.  Currently she is probably our most consistent leader on the team.

Kalley Hogue, Mackenzie Kubien and Maddie Penner – Oologah

Kalley is a senior for us and last year was chosen as All District. She scored 6 goals and 10 assists and also was chosen as Miss Hustle for us in our team awards. She is one of our team leaders who keeps everyone under control. She really is Miss Mustang. Kalley plays softball, basketball, soccer and runs track. She was chosen as Basketball homecoming queen and is also huge in Native American activities,  FCA, Honor society. She maintains a 4.0 and also helps in the TOPS soccer program. She was also chosen as the Heart of a Champion award winner last year and got the Honor of exchanging jerseys with OKC basketball player Jayden Williams at a banquet downtown last summer. Mack is what we call her and she is a senior with a 4.0 GPA. She has been involved in FFA ever since junior high. She has won many competitions and won Grand Champion last year. She is also very active in TOPS soccer, Honor Society and FCA. She has assumed the role as our team leader this season since we lost the one from last year. She is very dependable and is in charge when I ask her to organize team activities. Kids like Maddie are a very rare breed. She is the most coachable , responsible kid and she will fill her sisters foot steps on the team. Ava was her sister but she graduated last year. Maddie is becoming a beast on the field. She was a freshman sorter last year at our center back position. She scored  6 goals and had 4 assists for us last year even though she played defense all year. She volunteers at TOPS soccer, carries a 4.0 GPA, FCA, and Honor Society. She is the sweetest most kid person on our team. I am not sure I have ever seen Maddie without a smile and she is the most positive kid with all her teammates. She is a leader by example on and off the field. Maddie was chosen as our Defensive Player of the year and also All District.

Last year she was one of our defensive leaders (2024 All-District Defender) and will be even more of one for us this year. Emalee is an excellent defender who has become the brain for our team with her constant communication. This year she will be counted on by her coaches & teammates to keep our team organized and composed. Eva Fletcher (senior) has been an incredible teammate throughout her time in the Grove Soccer Program. She’s a quiet leader through her effort and kindness and cool composure in all moments. She has a passion for the game that will give us fire and drive in those key moments.

Gabriel Noble – Coweta

Gabriel started for us last season as a freshman. He’s had to make a position switch from his position at club due to the demands of our team, but he hasn’t let that stop him from being a force on the field. He is a hardworking midfielder who provides a deep threat towards goal when he gets the chance. We look forward to seeing his goal contributions increase this season.

Sydnee White – Catoosa

Sydnee White is a sophomore forward that led our team last year in goals scored with 16 goals. Sydnee is a powerful striker that looks to get in behind with great speed and athleticism. She has added a better shot, especially from distance, and has grown in confidence in her play making abilities and leadership on the field as well. With Sydnee’s improved overall game, and also more playmakers surrounding her, I’m expecting a huge year from her. She should be close to the top of the leaderboard in goals scored in 4A.

Eli Tillery – Skiatook

Eli Tillery is Skiatook’s underclassman to watch. Eli is only a freshman, but he’s already setting the bar for his teammates in preseason practices. Sadie Trotter – Bixby

Sadie is a sophomore this year.  She started and played as a freshman last year, who made a huge impact.  She got hurt early in the season with a torn ACL and was missed in our formation through the rest of the season.  She will be a huge player for us this year in the center.  She wins balls in the air, plays like a senior, and is technically an all around player.  She will be one to watch in the 2025 season.

Brooklyn Blan – Edison Prep

Brooklyn is a sophomore, who is extremely consistent in her touches and performance. A soft spoken player who, even in the toughest challenge on the pitch always seems to be content, and smiling while giving her best for the team. She is a great player inside and out and a tremendous asset to the team.

Nick Bell – Woodward

Nick is a 6″1 freshman with great touch and drive on the ball.  Nick is one of the many young players to watch on our squad. So far, Nick has shown in the offseason to have the ability to compete and challenge peers and the older players in competitive play. Nick comes in with a variety of skill sets such as pace, passing, touch, and a knack for setting up his own shots at goal. Nick competes for Edmond SC and has built up the confidence to compete in any competition he is thrown in. Spending his extra time going to a local training facility to get in touches or train certain position roles.  As a program, we are excited to have players like Nick come in and be able to offer something to it as quickly as he has. We are excited to see where he grows within the program and look forward to seeing his progress throughout this season.

Ivan Cruz – Sapulpa

He is a freshman who has come to the program and shined. He has not looked out of place and is really great on the ball.

Presli Cox – Bartlesville

Presli is an exciting underclass player to watch. Although being a sophomore, Presli will be looking to complete her first season as a Lady Bruin after coming back from an injury. Her technical ability as well as her game intelligence speak for themselves and she will be keen to make a name for herself this year.

Rosalinda Morales – Commerce

She brings energy and potential to the field. Her work ethic, natural ability, and athleticism make her a player to keep an eye on this season.

Joe Albarran – Tulsa Edison

Returning starter at holding center mid.  Joe is in 10th grade. Very good player that disrupts opponents but is also very smart on the ball and decision making.

Grant Brust – Hilldale

Grant started as a CB for us as a freshman. He is a returning starter and leader of our defense. Grant is the man that keeps us together and plays organized from the back.

Zak exploded on the Bristow soccer scene last season; Zak proved to be an asset to our team both in scoring and assists.  Zak is constantly working to improve his game, as a Junior Zak will certainly be paramount to our success this season.

Aiden’s presence on the field is invaluable, as he consistently demonstrates a strong work ethic and a passion for the game that positively impacts the entire team.

Anderson Rogers – Owasso

Anderson Rogers is a freshman on our Varsity team this year. Anderson plays as a defender and we are excited to add her to our experienced back line. Anderson is phenomenal under pressure, physical, athletic, technical, and understands the game at a high level. She is going to add even more talent to our back line.

Mason has improved and pushed himself over the summer and fall to improve. He has developed and grown over the past months and will be a major player on the varsity team this year.

Karsyn Conner – El Reno

Karsyn Conner, a standout sophomore on the El Reno High School Girls Soccer Team, has quickly established herself as a rising star and a strong candidate for Underclassman of the Year. Known for her unmatched work ethic and exceptional offensive vision, she consistently creates scoring opportunities and drives the team’s attack. Her determination and talent make her a key asset on the field and a player to watch this season.

JB Bradshaw – Edmond Santa Fe

Returning starter that can score with both feet from anywhere on the field, also a strong defender.

Addison Bates – Union

Addison’s freshmen year ended during pre-season last year due to an ACL injury. We look forward to seeing Addison out on the pitch this year, and expect her to be a huge impact for us.

Cameron Voyles – Wagoner

I’ve known Cameron for a long time and have been anxiously waiting for him to get to high school!  As a freshman, he saw several varsity starts and was also one of our top selections off the bench.  He can pick out a pass better than most players regardless of age and his soccer IQ is as good as anyone at this level.  One thing that makes him a joy to coach is his determination and self-discipline.  At the end of last season, he asked me what he needed to work on.  I told him to continue working on his agility, speed, and overall fitness.

Averie Deegan – Verdigris

Sophomore. Averie has many strengths. She is very tactical, has great sight and finishes well. She is an extremely good teammate as well.

Aidyn’s quick footwork and instinct for finding scoring opportunities set him apart, but it’s his fearless attitude that truly impresses. Whether he’s taking on defenders or selflessly involving his teammates, Aidyn’s presence is impossible to ignore. Keep an eye on this rising star—he’s poised to make a big impact this season.

Camdyn Konz – Bethany

Cam is the 2010 Oklahoma Energy ECNL goal keeper and a very athletic and talented Goal Keeper.  She will anchor the Bronchos defense as a freshmen and I expect her to set and or break every record in our program at that position.

Westyn Hoefar – Bethany

Westyn started for us last year as a freshman and played Defensive Mid.  He is considered to be undersized, but plays much bigger than he is.  Arguably one of our most valuable players last year, his defensive role allows Griffin and Eli to play in higher attacking positions on the field.  He can play all 80 minutes with great stamina, and generally makes all the right decisions throughout the course of a game.

Keirstin Schornick – Duncan

Keirstin’s nickname is Red. She started as a freshman on defense last year after practicing all offseason on offense. Red is a very skilled player with a combination of speed and high soccer IQ. Miley Decker – Skiatook

Miley started as a freshman last season and will play a big role again this season. Miley is another player who can play multiple positions on the field and has great field awareness. She is a talented young player and we are excited to see how she will play with one year of varsity experience under her belt.

Mateo’s relentless energy and determination set him apart. He’s the spark that keeps the team firing, always giving 110% and leaving it all on the field.

Eduardo Delatorre – Kingfisher

Eduardo Delatorre is ready to make his mark. Heading into his sophomore year, Eduardo is stepping into a starting role after a strong freshman season as a key rotational player. His hard work and determination have earned him this spot, and he’s poised to become a difference-maker for the Kingfisher Boys Soccer team. Known for his toughness and physicality, Eduardo is the kind of player who battles for every ball and refuses to back down from a challenge. But what truly sets him apart is his incredible finishing ability. Give him a glimpse of the net, and he’ll make you pay. Eduardo’s knack for finding the goal, combined with his composure in high-pressure situations, makes him a constant threat in the attacking third. Eduardo has already shown flashes of brilliance, and now, with a bigger role on the team, he’s ready to take his game to the next level. His hunger to improve and his fearless approach to the game are exactly what Kingfisher soccer needs as we aim for another standout season.

Callie Graham and Mia Perkins – Crossings Christian School

Both of these young ladies are passionate about soccer. They want to be the best they can be and strive to help their teammates do the same. They possess elite ball skill while also being able to operate off the ball at a high level as well.

Brynlee Sweet – Oologah

Brynlee is a sophomore center midfielder for us. She plays outside back on her club team but we asked her to change positions last year because she is so athletic. She improved at that position throughout the year. She scored 8 goals and 7 assists. Her work effort is second to none and I expect huge things from her this season. She was chosen one of our Miss Hustle team awards and also All District and carries a 4.0 GPA.

Allie Hasselman and Jenna Lynn – Grove

Allie (Soph) – Allie is a talented multi-sport athlete (Cross Country/Basketball/Soccer/Track) who was a key cog in our midfield last year. Allie is able to cover a lot of space when defending, along with being a very technical player who can break the opponents’ pressure by dribbling or passing. Allie is set to improve on her impressive freshman season last year. Jenna (Soph) – Jenna is another talented sophomore player who played a key role in our attack last spring. As a freshman, she was an every game starter for us who tested defenses with her speed to create scoring chances for herself and her teammates. Jenna heads into the season looking to be one of our key chance creators and finishers

Yahir Chavez – Weatherford

Yahir is a three varsity starter as a forward and will be moving to central midfield.  He is an exceptional player that is very creative.

Sophia Jahanshahi – Stillwater

Sophia is entering her sophomore year. She plays at forward. Sophia may end up winning most improved player of the year for the team. She has improved immensely over the last year. She is quick, skilled and a danger to score at any time.

E-SPORTS

Vincent Tran – Kiefer

Vincent shows up and competes with everything he has. He rallies the team when we are down and motivates them with encouragement. Vincent is a strong competitor but also shows great character when he games. He often uses encouraging language and is just a great respectful athlete.

Kenyon Green – Chickasha

Kenyon came to the team as a very unsure and reluctant freshman to play Mario Kart. He rapidly grew in skills and confidence at the game and also in personality. Now as a sophomore, Kenyon is a natural leader who helps to guide the new team members. He has begun to play Smash Bros this year and he is  very strategic in his gaming style, which has helped his teammates as well. I know that if I ask Kenyon to do something, he will get it done and done right.

Zaide Nunn – Wells Middle School

Just like Triton, I have another great kid. He shows up ready to roll every game. When he started he didn’t even have a console at home and yet he showed up and rocked it every time.

Joseph Wilson – Wayne

Joseph is an integral part of our League of Legends and Mario Kart squads and is the most positive person on our team.  If we are having a bad game, Joseph is the one that picks us all up and tells us to move on.  He deals with a medical condition and doesn’t let that bring him or the team down.  He is everyone’s favorite teammate.

Matthew Kimery – Haileyville

Matthew is a junior OSSAA Rocket League player.  He has been a member of the team since Haileyville began the e-sports program in the spring of 2023.  Matthew can be counted on to attend every match even though he is busy with golf, basketball, baseball and KTC.  Matthew serves as the team captain and willingly helps the younger players when they have difficulty.   Matthew also displays good sportsmanship.

Beau Butler, Will Porter, and Tucker Austin – Heritage Hall

They played key roles in our past Rocket League runs. As a freshman last year, Butler stepped in and made the series-clinching goal in our program’s first ever state title (PlayVS Oklahoma, Spring 2024). Porter logged significant minutes in the Fall semifinal run and played a key role off the bench in our Spring 2024 title run. With Butler focusing on his football career this fall, Austin slid into the starting lineup and made huge strides while learning from Green and Payne, ultimately becoming a huge part of our Fall 2024 OKSE title run. Austin, a highly recruited Division I soccer prospect and Gatorade Player of the Year candidate, will sub in the Spring 2025 season, as yet another freshman enters our Rocket League rotation…Jackson Echalk, who is also a talented baseball player.

Conner Watkins – Carl Albert

Conner has been an essential part of the Carl Albert eSports team. His character is impeccable, and it shows anytime he is competing in a team oriented game. He is one of our top Mario Kart players, and a member of the team that placed in the top 10 twice last season (including a top 3 finish out of 64 teams). Conner is a senior, and has taken many of our freshmen under his wing to teach them strategy and skills in Fortnite, Rocket League, and Mario Kart. He is always encouraging, kind, constructive when communicating in the heat of battle. That’s a skill unheard of in the eSports community! Conner has also volunteered to be a member of our Carl Albert Unified eSports team, which combines our special education students and eSports gamers to make a Rocket League team. They will compete for a state championship at UCO on April 19th!

Dason Ramsey – Cordell

This kid has so much potential, grit and leadership in him. He was on the winning Rocket League Trios team that won state in Dec. 2024. He was also the captain of our second place at the state team for Rainbow Six. He motivated both of his teams to preserve through tough games and when we had to sub in extra players to fill in our team (due to sickness or extracurricular activities that overlapped). Just like Matthew Rodrigue, Dason has had to juggle Basketball, and work hours. Dason is an all round great player on any team and rises to the leadership seat whenever he has the chance.

Levi Gaddis – Davis

Levi’s older brother graduated class of 2024, went on to compete in esports for Murray State College, and was elected to the OKSE Hall of Fame. While only an 8th grader last season, Levi stepped in to compete on his brothers teams, just because they needed it. Now he is a part of the High School team and competes in whatever the team needs, no questions asked.

Gage Vernon – Piedmont

Gage is a senior in our program. Gage competes for us in multiple titles: Super Smash Bros, Splatoon 3 and Mario Kart. Gage is also the team captain of our Mario Kart team. Gage is the definition of a team player and always is available to do whatever we need to be successful. He is always the first one in and last one out and is the definition of a great teammate. He is always looking to lift up others. He is a vital part of our program’s success and will be missed when he graduates this year.

Although he is a freshman and new to the team, Jaiden is a player we depend on!

Zachary McCullar – Wayne

Zachary is a freshman on the Rainbow 6 and Apex teams. Zachary started the brand new Rainbow 6 team as its captain and KDA leader.  We are looking for him to have an impact on Apex this year too.

Freedom Parks – Haileyville

Freedom is a freshman on the Fortnight team.  Freedom practices and continues to improve his skills.

Sebastian Payne – Heritage Hall

Sebastian has been like Scottie Pippen to Michael Jordan (Landon Green in this case). Not only is he talented across multiple games, but he always comes through in the clutch or has breakout performances when his sidekick star is getting double-teamed. In each and every 2v2 and 3v3 Rocket League title run, Sebastian has played a huge part. He has had a great example to learn from, and we will be looking for him to step up again and lead our Esports program into the future once Landon graduates. Like Green, Payne is hoping to garner scholarship offers to play Esports in college, currently favoring Oklahoma Christian if the opportunity presents itself.

Ricky Reed – Carl Albert

Ricky is a 9th grader at CAHS, and his primary game is Fortnite. Ricky joined the eSports program and hit the ground running! So far, he is one of our top Fortnite players despite the fact that we play Fortnite on Xbox, and his main console is Playstation! For the non-gamers out there, that is a major difference! He is great with his comms and working as a team when they are practicing duos or squads. Ricky is also a member of our Rocket League team, along with Conner Watkins. Ricky is a great young man, as he volunteered to be on our CAHS Unified eSports team which combines our special education department and eSports team. The unified Rocket League team will compete April 19th at UCO for a state championship!

Austin Barnett – Coalgate

Austin has potential to be really good for us.  He is already our best SmashBros. player as a freshman and he getting close to being our best DPS player in Overwatch 2.  As long as he keeps progressing and putting the time in, he’ll be real special for us the next few years.

Roberto Aguilar – Cordell

Roberto is a Freshman, this kid has a lot of potential. He just received 7th place out of over 200 SMASH players in our League. This kid and his best friend Hunter Hamlett (he received 6th place) will be battling to win State the next couple of years. Roberto reviews game plays and watches Twitch almost daily and improves his game play.

Mia Samson – Davis

Mia is a quiet but relentless Super Smash player. She only plays that game, but in a sport with very little female representation, she stands above. 240+ Smash players entered the fall season, only 64 made the state tournament for small schools division. She not only made that along with a few teammates, she finished in 6th place overall. As a sophomore she was only behind 5 seniors, which puts her at the top of the contenders list for next fall.

Ricardo Ramos – Piedmont

Ricky is a sophomore Super Smash Bros. Ultimate player for us. He was a team captain as a freshman and has led our varsity team to back to back state semifinal births. Ricky is heavily involved in the local, regional and national smash bros competitive scene where he competes in many tournaments and events outside of school. Maddison is one of our top golfers.  She has won multiple awards in FFA.  She continues to work hard and enjoys playing golf and being part of the team. Taylor embodies everything that you would want in a student-athlete. She is involved in many different activities including having a very busy job throughout the season. She organizes and commits to so many things as a student athlete that most older adults struggle doing everyday well beyond school in the real world. She always comes to practice every day with a positive attitude, and is a joy to be able to have on the team. Her involvement in so many things show her commitment, dedication, and her high character to all the people that are affected by her presence. I have no doubt that she will be super successful in her life and in whatever endeavors she pursues in the future.

Kyle Haught and Abraham Hillsbury – Sapulpa

Kyle is a senior that has been in the program for six years. This is his last go round and is looking to guide the team to their best year since his 9th grade year. Kyle is very supportive of all his teammates and wants only the best for them. Kyle is a very active member of the FFA program. He participates in the welding program and is also a member of their shooting team. Abraham is relatively new to the golf program with this being his second year. What he lacks in golf knowledge he makes up for it with his work ethic. Abram is the one golfer that all the golfers enjoy practicing with and hanging out with after practice. He will show and be judged on this trailer at the county fair as well.  I have witnessed how hard he has worked on the project within and outside school hours and still finds time to come out and practice golf.  His future goals after graduating are to attend Eastern Oklahoma State College then Oklahoma State University in order to get an agriculture engineering degree.

Jason Lincoln – Sperry

Jason is not the best player on the course. Far from it! But, he loves playing golf and has an attitude that puts everything into perspective. He’s the kind of kid you genuinely like having in your program.

4.0 student and is the heart of the team. She works very hard and leads by example. Regardless of whether she has a good round or a bad one, Lexie is always positive and upbeat. Gunnar leads the team in the weight room or when I ask for the players to do something he is always there keeping him and his teams accountable. Kynslie is our team manager and is dedicated to helping the team be prepared during practice and tournaments.  She helps during weightlifting or in the indoor facility and keeps scores during practice and tournaments.  Kynslie is in the Edmond FFA and is very competitive in speeches and Ag. communications  contests. Nick in late Fall injured his shoulder and he has been doing rehab weekly along with being at practices and pushes his teams in the weight room and on the course.  Nick has recently been able to practice with his teammates and we expect him to recover 100% so he can help his team go to state this season.

She has put in a lot of work over the summer and is looking forward to a senior campaign to help propel her to a college golf opportunity.

Taylor Attebery – Putnam City North

Taylor isn’t going to wow anyone with her low scores, but she comes to practice everyday with a smile on her face, and is an absolute joy to be around. She is always positive, always willing to do anything that is asked of her, and really exudes a high character student athlete.

Avery Wharton – Wilson

I am choosing Avery for this because she is a great example of good character. She is always in a great mood and will do whatever it takes to help others and put others in good moods. She does great at school and in all of her classes as well as all of the other sports she plays. She is a starter on the basketball court and well as on the softball diamond. She always gives her all at anything she does because that is just who she is. She is a great role model, and I can say that confidently because my six-year-old daughter wants to be just like her, and I am perfectly fine with that.

Jaycee Richard and Carliegh Duffy – MacArthur

Jaycee has been a vital part of the Lady Highlanders for the last two years. Jaycee is a true competitor on and off the course. Jaycee is that player I can always count on to bring her ‘A’ game every tournament. Carliegh Duffy started playing golf for the Lady Highlanders as a freshman. The best thing about Carleigh’s game is her support towards her teammates. Carliegh is always there to cheer someone on or cheer them up when needed. She is the team hype “Man”. Carliegh is very well rounded as well. Whether that’s on the softball diamond, School Mascot for the cheer team, golf team, Or wearing the crown as the 2024-25 Homecoming queen. The character Carleigh shows in all walks of life is one of positive vibes and always looking to make everyone’s life a little better.

Jayden Sierra and Kru Vance – Sequoyah Tahlequah

Jayden is the lone senior in our program who has made the transition to golf from other sports after a neck injury. Jayden is newer to the game but his leadership and attitude to learn has been a welcome addition to the team. He is a gritty athlete that will show great improvement in his game and will add the senior leadership that will help our team improve throughout the season. Kru is another young player for our golf program but is also a multi-sport athlete. Splitting time with golf and wrestling in the winter/spring. He is the life of the party as our kids call him. He is someone that you can always be high energy with. With that he has made drastic improvements with his game and is looking forward to an improved sophomore campaign.

Maggie Ruby – Stillwater

Maggie came in to the team as a freshman last year and was a solid player that became our #2 bag.  She played #2 in the state tournament and played a major role in solidifying that championship.  She is quiet and goes about her business of being a better player.  She is very focused and works long hours on her game.

Wyatt Hollenbeck – Caney Valley

Wyatt is a returning starter for the Trojan golf team.  He’s been our 2 bag the last 2 years and has been a consistent leader for our golf. He accomplished a goal of averaging under 100 by averaging 98 for last year’s season and hitting a low of 95.  Wyatt is a great student and a consistent leader for our golf team.  I’m very proud of Wyatt and how he’s improved his game.

Peyton is a junior who has been in and out of our lineup for the last two years.  He has experience playing in one regional and one state tournament.  He will be counted on this year to be a regular contributor.  He is an unsung hero because of his dedication to our team.  He can always be counted on to be at workouts and practices and give his full effort and attention to whatever he needs to do to improve.  He is a quiet leader by example for our team and has kind of been the guy to step up the last couple of years and help us out in some tough situations.  He has been working hard on improving his short game and I’m confident in saying that he is going to take a huge step this season. Peyton has good, and still developing, leadership skills.  He can always be counted on to know and follow the very complicated rules of golf.  He is consistent about being at workouts and practices and is also very supportive of teammates and younger players.

Morgan McCall and Aubi Hawke – Muskogee

Morgan is the glue that holds the team together. She is always striving to improve aspects of her golf game and is always willing to assist others. She is a person that everyone enjoys being around and communicating with. Aubi epitomizes the definition of student-athlete. She carries a 4.3 GPA, ranking in the top 10% of her class. Her willingness to help when events are held with the golf program and to volunteer in the community is second to none.

Macey Foreman and Anna Fritts – Moore

Macey is a senior, two-sport athlete (basketball and golf) who has been on the state tournament team for the last two years. Tough competitor, hard worker and reliable. Sophomore Anna is class president and very involved in clubs at school.  Shot our low score at Regionals last year as a freshmen to help us qualify for state as a team.  Great attitude and very positive with her teammates.  Makes every day fun to be around and has a positive influence on and off the golf course.

Collin Allen and Jet Smith – North Rock Creek

Collin is a young man that has been in the golf program many years. He works hard to work around his busy FFA schedule to make it to as many golf tournaments as possible. He does a good job balancing the two commitments. Jet is a great student and golfer. Jet is a junior this year and has a scoring average of 76. Jet shows character on and off the course by helping others. He is a student of the game and loves to help younger golfers learn the game. Jet shows character on a daily basis by holding doors for others working for others with no compensation, etc. He is a great golfer and young man.

Jade Airington – Velma-Alma

Jade is a senior at Velma-Alma. Although this is her first and last year of high-school, she has been golfing for multiple years. We are looking forward to her contribution to our team.

Syndey Stancil and Brooklyn Weber – Edmond Santa Fe

Syndey (like Cindy) is a sophomore and is known as the girl who “gets our team spirits up.” She came in, last year as a freshman, not having played golf at all in middle school… but she wanted to do something fun with her friend Brooklyn. She tried and tried… over and over again to hit the ball, and ALWAYS did it with a smile and laughing at herself. But then, 1 shot went correctly and she was hooked into golf. She started taking lessons at Indoor18 in Edmond, stayed after practice some days working with her coaches, and eventually became one of the better JV players on the squad. Her improvement, her positive attitude, her commitment to a game she’s learned to love, has shown through and has been contagious. Other teams LOVE to play with her because she makes them smile/laugh and find a way to ENJOY competing in golf. Syndey has brought an element to this game that even I (her head coach) have not experienced before, and I’m hoping that her personality spreads through my team like the flu! Brooklyn is the classic athlete who will ‘go through a brick wall’ for you. She is one of the most COACHABLE players that we’ve seen here at Santa Fe and is all about what’s best for the team. She took a JV position last year and worked diligently to improve her scores. Towards the later half of the season, she was moved up to the varsity level #5 bag position and immediately made an impact, not just score-wise, but by her demeanor and the way she carries herself on the course. She may not be having the best round, but you cannot tell–you have to ask her several times about how she’s doing before she’ll tell you how she REALLY feels. I LOVE having her on the team and she enjoys playing golf.

Kyler Blundell and Aidan Duke – Marlow

Kyler is a senior.  This is only his second year in golf and has put in a lot of time to make himself better to try and contribute this season. Aidan is a senior.  He attends church and stands up for what is right.  He allows discipline to occur on the course and has integrity when it comes to his game and helping others.

Keaton Twyman and Brayden Duncan – Elk City

Keaton is a dependable and consistent player. He has put in a ton of work this offseason. I believe he will be a mature leader that will help our younger guys navigate through the season. Brayden is a tremendous kid that will do whatever you ask him to do. He will put others before his own needs. I can’t say enough about his character and the type of person that he is.

Logan Braziel – Chisholm

Logan is a good golfer who doesn’t always get the newspaper article, but what he brings to our team is very valuable. He is a likable kid who always keeps the mood light among our golf team. On days we don’t post our best scores he will always reassure the team we are going to be alright and we will live to golf another day. He keeps the mental aspect of the game in perspective for our entire team.

Andi Foughty – Choctaw

She quietly goes about her business. She was a solid player last year on our team as a sophomore and I expect her to be #2 on this team and continue to shoot lower and lower as the season goes on.

Jaden Mai – Classen SAS @NE

Jaden is another foundational piece of the Classen SAS Boys Golf Team. He qualified for the state tournament last year as an individual. He is one of the hardest workers on the entire team, and goes out of his way to help others. He is the most selfless on the team and will do whatever is asked at any time.

Anna Pogue – Washington

Anna came in as a freshman this fall and was able to grab the 5th bag in our fall tournament.  She adds to the competition and will make girls have to work in order to keep their top five status.

Tayla Conn – Keys

Tayla is a two-year starter.  She has been working very hard in the off season.  She continues to improve and she has potential to medal in several upcoming tournaments.

Maya Majors – Putnam City North

Maya is a new freshman this year. She has a strong work ethic and is one of the kindest players that anyone will get to play with this season. Her addition to the team is a much needed youth movement as we are senior heavy this season. She will have a good 1st season as she gets used to varsity level competition with 80-100 player fields. She will probably be our #1 or #2 bag this season, so she will come right in and be expected to perform. Looking forward to a great four years from this young lady.

Harrison Fritz – Sapulpa

Harrison is a sophomore that has a lot of potential and gained a lot of experience last year.

MacKenna Carter – Sapulpa

MacKenna is a freshman with a huge potential. I am looking forward to seeing how she progresses over the next four years. The sky is the limit for this young lady if she will just go get it. MacKenna being a freshman stills pushes the other two girls to be better.

Emma Woodard – Newcastle

Emma missed state by 1 stroke. I think this season she will make sure that doesn’t happen. She is eager to get on the course and can’t wait for the season to start.

Owen Mitchel – Edmond North

Owen has moved over to Edmond North from Edmond Memorial.  He is a sophomore that has moved into the #2 bag.  He is a great golfer that will be a big contributor on varsity for the next three seasons.

Grant Overfield – Sperry

Grant has improved his physicality and his play has dramatically improved. He has taken to instruction and is becoming more comfortable playing tournament golf. Could be a “sleeper” State Tournament qualifier.

Sam Tiller – Sperry

Sam had a solid 2024 season, despite having to deal with a nagging back injury which impeded her progress. Healthy, Sam looks very good at practice and is primed to have a breakout year.

Myles McKee – Stigler

Myles is an incoming freshman who has great ability and we are looking for him to come in and contribute right away.

Truman Brown – Jenks

Strong player that has a lot of potential. Loves the game and is a strong competitor.

Brooklyn Babbit and Emery Wood – Collinsville

Both young players if they continue to get better, could have an impact for us this season.

Ben Stroman – Edmond Santa Fe

Ben is a junior and missed going to state by one stroke last year and he has dedicated himself to practice daily to improve golfing.  He spends many late nights going to the range, chipping, putting and playing rounds to strive to go to state this year and help his team qualify for state.

Haylee Rosalez – Piedmont

Haylee Rosalez is new to golf, but is showing signs of becoming an outstanding golfer. Haylee competed in her first varsity tournament and made a good showing. We are looking forward to seeing her growth this spring.

Kash Taylor-Rogers – Ada

Kash was one of my top five players last season and picked up some valuable tournament experience. He has grown physically since last year and hits the ball much farther now than last year. I expect him to be much better this year.

Maya Major – Putnam City North

Incoming freshman that has stepped onto the team seamlessly. She has started off the season well. She is a very hard worker, great character, and has a lot of room for growth in the upcoming years.

Jaycee Harrell – Wilson

Jaycee is going to be an eye opener for this year. She is an up and coming freshman with a lot of talent. She has placed in the top five in every junior high tournament she has played in and it’s going to be fun to watch her compete with high schoolers. I am excited to watch how this season is going to turnout!

Hallie Pooschke – MacArthur

As a freshman last year Hallie stepped into a big role as the 4 bag. She helped anchor the team all year. With the season and a trip to the state tournament on the line Hallie made a par on her 18th hole. It was a much needed par as the Lady Highlanders punched their ticket to the state tournament by two shots. Hallie will look to build off that moment and have a good sophomore year for the Lady Highlanders.

Madison Hood – Keys(Park Hill)

GREAT YOUNG LADY; WORKS VERY HARD TO GET BETTER.

Nikki Pitts – Stillwater

Nikki has been in the starting line-up since she was a freshman and played a big role on the state championship team.   She is a leader for the team.  She organizes team get-togethers and keeps everyone on task.  Nikki is a solid rock for our team.

Speck Gann and Noah Marsheck – Caney Valley

Speck Gann and Noah Marsheck are sophomores that are in their second year in our program and look to have an improved year two. Gann, 4 bag, and Marsheck, 5 bag, improved a lot last year learning the game and seeing success in lowering their scores and hitting pars and birdies.  Both are Great students and are very dedicated to improving their games. I look forward to seeing them shoot consistently in the 90s this season and help take our team to record finishes.

Kel Manning – MacArthur

Kel Manning played a huge role in the highlanders making state as a team last year. Kel has fallen in love with golf and has been working hard this off-season. He is looking to have a big year and once again help the Highlanders to another state tournament bid.

Asher Mellinger – Tuttle

Asher is a sophomore who has never played high school golf.  He is a talented ball striker and with time and experience should round into being a solid contributor as our #5 bag.

Ashlynn Ledford – Mustang

She is a very athletic girl and has a natural golf swing.  We are working on just a few minor tweaks.  But with more play and practice, she should develop into a really good player.

Loxton O’Roark – Mustang

He is a great, hardworking young man.  Both his parents are golfers and love that he has chosen golf to be his primary sport in High school.  He loves the game, studies the game, plays and practices all the time.  He is just small as a freshman.  Still needs to develop some length off the tee to handle the longer distances of high school golf.  As he matures that will naturally happen.  He is going to be a good one!

Paisley Noles – Moore

Freshman who may end up being our best golfer before the season ends.  Talented ball striker and can compete with the best in state with some short game improvement.  Looking for her to really push our team to compete with some of the better teams in the state.

Ryder Adams – North Rock Creek

Ryder is a freshman on our team. He has shown the ability to lead even at his younger age. He works hard to perfect his golf game and will be a big asset to our golf program in the future.

He has spent a significant amount of time in the gym and on the range this off-season in order to increase his strength and stamina. Expecting a good year from him.

Nate Seres – Heritage Hall

Solid #2 man.

Freshman player and has been playing golf since 7th grade. VERY strong young lady and works VERY hard in practice! She has played in various summer tournaments in the Junior golf circuit and has moved right up the ranks of our team in the off-season and in the Fall season. She has very good control of her irons and I’m hopeful that she’ll help us for 4 years! She also plays volleyball at Santa Fe.

Devin is a sophomore that should contribute this year.  He averaged 80 last year and is looking to improve.

Jensen Prince –  Duncan

Extremely talented sophomore expected to lead the team in scoring average this season.

Carolina Mellstrom – Luther

Henry Bowman – Classen SAS

Henry is a freshman this season and has already been working hard for Classen SAS Boys Golf. He spends a lot of time outside of practice working on his game. In a few seasons with his work ethic, Henry has the chance to be a pivotal component of the team.

Bishop Kelley

As a first year head coach, I’m still getting to know the underclassmen.  I’m excited for our group of freshmen, but I need to see them compete more under pressure before I can really determine the cream of the crop.

TRACK

Chay Barnett and Tate Diaz – Coalgate

Chay has qualified for the state track meet the past two seasons in the 300M Hurdles and this past season in Pole Vault. He is a great leader that takes responsibility when needed to. He has helped us in our relays and will do that again this spring. Always does the right thing on and off the track. He is a great student and you never have to motivate him. It has been a great honor to coach such a humble young man. You can’t say enough good things about Tate. He is the perfect example of lead by example. He doesn’t take any reps off and always pushes himself. A very well mannered young man who just does the right thing. I am excited to see him in a couple of new events this spring, long jump and the 400m along with being on some relays. Tate doesn’t get tired, or that is what it seems like. A great young man who will be successful in life.

Sam Cox and Cale Marley – Rejoice Christian

Just a sophomore, Sam is the leader of our distance program. He is a quiet kid, he doesn’t get all the attention that the sprinters do but Sam plays a huge part in our team’s success. He qualified for state in the two mile as a freshman last year and is looking for more. Cale is coming off 18 months of injuries but has never stopped working, he has put in hours of work that no one sees. Cale wasn’t healthy all football season but was still able to lead his team to a state championship. He has an unbelievable work ethic, he lives out Colossians 3:23 every day.

Javen Buffington – Grove

Javen is a workhorse on our throws squad.  Currently a junior, Javen has quietly excelled through the years in the Discus. She finished third at state last year and is prepping herself for a title run this year.

Prince Coleman, Chris Cook and WadeMcCall – Atoka

Prince joined last season as a junior but was injured during basketball and was hit or miss throughout the season due to injury. He worked when he was allowed but seemed to never quite heal.  He was released at the end of the season in time for regionals and with a week of practice ran on the relay and competed in the high jump clearing 6′ to make it to state where he set a PR of 6′ 2″.  He continues to improve and I am looking forward to seeing what he can do this season. Chris joined us last season as a Junior discus thrower and made good progress last season making it to the State meet his first year out.  I feel that with more hard work he should be able to make it again this year and have a shot to compete for the championship. Wade is that guy who works hard every practice and competes in everything he does without question.  He is the athlete who when you need a point here or there will volunteer to try something new (good or bad) he is willing to do it.

Andrew always finishes his workouts, even if he had to take a break or if he was absent. Andrew just shows others that you should go out and just do your job to the best of your ability. Edai has joined us this year from Spain. In his short time here we have seen how much of an impact he makes on the people around him. Edai is always helpful to the other runners and respectful to his coaches. In the classroom he maintains a great GPA. Edai’s positive energy and attitude has been a welcome addition to our distance runners and to the team itself.

Colt McCaslin – Luther

Someone who will run or compete in whatever event he is needed in to help the team. One of the leaders and heartbeat of the track team.

Kyler Cupit and Cole Patrick – Broken Bow

Kyler is a senior shot and discus athlete who joined track last year as a Junior. Kyler through hard work and lots of practice has bought into what it takes to contend for placing at the regional and state level. I am looking forward to seeing the progress he has made from last year and how it pays off for him this year. Cole is a middle distance runner and a vaulter for us. Cole is a proud member of our FFA skeet shooting team.

Malana Eureste – Bishop Kelley

Malana could easily be the cornerstone of our team. Her infectious smile lights up the room until it’s game time. She has this incredible ability to switch her competitive mode on and off seamlessly. Daveon is one of our few senior sprinters coming back from 2024.  He is an integral part of our short relays.  Daveon has a smile on his face from the time practice starts, until practice is over.  He is an athlete that the younger students as well as the older students can look up to.

Tucker is actively involved in the Alva FFA Chapter, especially during showing season when he is busy showing his pigs.

Helena Owens, Jordyn Huckins and Khloe Vuittonet – Altus

Helana is a senior this year. She has been with the program since 7th grade and has always been a positive force on the team. She runs the sprint relays but if I need her to run another event or fill in the 1600 relay, she does it willingly without complaint. If I need to coach another group of athletes, Helena will take over the sprint workouts for the women and make sure everyone does it right.    Helena rarely asks for or gets a ton of recognition for her importance to the team……… just to show you how much the student body thinks of Helena, she was this year’s Homecoming Queen. Jordyn is what I would call an athlete and by that I mean you could put her in any sport and she would excel. Jordyn will run on our 3200 and 1600 relays and possibly run the open 800. She is an amazing worker. I can always rely on her to finish a workout. Jordyn also is one of our top volleyball players who I have played multiple positions on the team.  One thing I really appreciate about Jordyn is that no matter how bad of a day she is having, she always has a smile on her face and a positive attitude….even if it is just on the outside. Khloe is an excellent student who just goes about her day without much fanfare. She is quiet but strong. She leads with this quiet confidence. She does what is asked with no questions. Takes care of business in the classroom and is a great friend to her team-mates and to her mid-distance team.

Blair has a 4.0 GPA and is involved in many different extracurricular activities. She always is positive, has a great attitude, and works hard no matter the circumstance or outcome.

Alex Le and Isaac Forman – Westmoore

Alex Le is one of our throwers on the track team. He exploded last year in his junior year, ending the year 7th in the state with a 50’8″ throw in shot put. He is always thinking and talking about track; Alex is one whose passion and obsession with his sport has produced positive results. Through the strength building in the weight room, reps out in the ring, and following what his coaches say, Alex has earned every inch of progress that he’s tacked on to his personal record. Isaac Forman, much like our MVP Chason Brassfield, is one that this team and myself would not be the same without. It has been a tremendous pleasure to see this young man grow up for the last four years. Forman is one that I hope my son grows up to be like one day, he is just THAT awesome and well-rounded. Isaac is a senior on the team and is one that all athletes look to as a leader. Isaac is never afraid to speak up for what is right and hold his teammates accountable for their effort and behavior, and they listen to him. He is the HOSA president at Moore Norman Tech. Center where he studies Biomed. He is also very involved in Westmoore’s FCA and his church; he leads sermons and devotionals regularly. My wife and I attended the last FCA he spoke at, as well as one of his sermons at his church, and we were both moved by his ability to speak and impart meaningful messages with great fervor and intellect. Arlena Kirkendoll and Rhylee Rodebush – Clinton

Arlena Kirkendoll currently holds three school records, two of them as a previous hurdler.  But her best chance as an athlete will be continuing her future as a thrower.

Her personal best in the Discus is 91′ 6″ and 32′ 2.5″ in the Shot Put. Arlena will look forward to solidifying a spot to the state championship this spring along with challenging the freshman school records at Clinton High School. The one young lady on this team that knows what a work ethic is at a high level is Rhylee Rodebush.

Rhylee’s first track meet as a 6th grader won her a gold medal and a school record by throwing 29′ 11″ in the Shot Put. Rhylee holds the Western Conference record in the discus, throwing 91′ 1″ in 2023 as a 7th grader. Her personal record in the Discus from 8th grade is 101′ 4″ and 30′ 8.5″ in the Shot Put. Kowi is a junior this year.  He is such a joy to coach.  He has been a good leader since he was a freshman.  He keeps our distance athletes on track and always has a positive thing to say.  He finds a way to show gratefulness for the opportunity he has to be at OCS and that he gets to run. Drew is just a sophomore, but he is always trying to do the right thing.  This year, he will be an important leader for our sprinters.  He is also involved in football and has the lead in our school musical.  He brings a quiet, but strong presence to his peers.

Spencer Norman and Jordan Luttrell – Mannford

Spencer ran his first year of track with us last year, and found something that he excelled at. The 800. He worked his way on to the 4×800 relay and was a crucial part to that relay’s success last season. It is his senior year, and we are looking forward to getting our boys 2mile relay back to the state meet with him as a big part again. Jordan is an “I’ll do whatever you say coach” type of kid. Great young man that will do anything to help the team. As a senior this year he will help us in a multitude of ways, on and off the track. Being that senior leader and setting an example for the younger guys is an intricate part to any team sport. Also he will be looking to set a new Personal record in the 800, which he keeps improving on every year.

Kambryn Millar and Layla Stout – Sayre

Kambryn is a very quiet, hardworking young lady. She will be running the 100 meter dash, 200 meter dash, 2nd leg in the 4/100 and 4th leg in the 4/200. She does not always get the recognition she should because of her quiet demeanor, but she will be a big part of our team’s success this year, and I feel is very deserving of this recognition. Layla is a great example for this recognition. She shows up everyday with a great attitude, and is always asking ways to improve in her events. Stays after practice is over and puts in the extra time on her own without being told to. She is a 4.0 student and member of the FCA. She is always great at working with the younger students, and interacts and includes them in whatever is taking place that day. She always offers to help/assist with whatever the school has going on. Layla will run the 100 hurdles, 300 hurdles, and high jump.

Coy Capehart and Camdyn Plummer – Sayre

Mr. Capehart does not get a lot of credit or acknowledge all the time for the amount of work he puts in when nobody is watching. He is a “yes sir” type of kid when I tell him what events I need him to be in, or what time he needs to be at each day. He is always asking what he can do to get better, or what are the best things to look at to help him achieve his goals. He is a leader, and it shows in practice by the amount of work he puts in everyday. He is a sophomore this year, and has a very bright future in this sport, willing to do whatever it takes to benefit the team. Camdyn is a great example for this selection. He is the type of kid every coach wants to have on their team. He is a 4.0 student, and FCA member. Works hard everyday, and never complains. He will be apart of our 4/100, 4/200, and 4/400 relay. He is a great leader on and off the floor. Very respectful young man, and always shows great character in any situation that comes up.

Fatima Caoile and Delilah Ballard – Duncan

Fatima is a senior that only joined us her sophomore year. She quickly became a workhorse in our distance program and has been a quiet leader and inspiration to everyone around her. Liv is a great athlete that our team loves because of how positive and serving she is as a teammate. She is extremely smart and cares for her teammates!

Gavin Martin – Maysville

Gavin came up short of the state meet last year in the 110m hurdles. But there isn’t anyone on our team that works harder at his events than Gavin. His goal last year was the state meet, coming up short has only made him want it more.

Abby Brown and Ella Sotille – Elk City

Abby is a senior this year and she is the ultimate leader for us.  Abby will be an important leg on both our 4×400 and 4×800 relays.  She is tough as nails and the team is so much better with her leadership. Ella (Birdie) is a senior and a leader on our team.  She is also the best encourager that we have.  She develops relationships with all of the young girls and helps reinforce the high standard that has been set by our kids at Elk City.  She is a pole vaulter for us as well as an All-State softball player that will be playing softball at SNU next year.

I am excited to see what he will do.

Hayden Castillo – Altus

Hayden will be looked at in every relay this year. She had to sit out last season with an injury and will be coming into the season after knee surgery in January. Hayden could be one of the top 100 and 300 hurdlers in the state this year but I will have her doing mostly relay work to give her knee some time to heal.

Camden is a Junior that is a two year letterman that has been playing doubles for us.  He is a strong, powerful athlete that can take over matches and control the pace of the match.  He has a high tennis IQ and works hard at making his game better.

Victoria Rolling – Putnam City West

Tory is a freshman who has been playing for a few years and should take over the #1 singles roll next year and should break into the lineup as part of our #2 doubles.

London Cooper – Collinsville

London will be a sophomore this year and is working hard to earn a spot on the team. She has made great improvements from last year.

Austin Baker – Collinsville

Austin is a sophomore this year. He’s a returning starter this year. Last year Austin and his teammate Brock earned 3rd in conference at 2 doubles. Austin has made huge improvements since last year and is the future of Collinsville Tennis.

SLOW-PITCH SOFTBALL

August Grove and Carlyn Utley – Norman North

August has given selfishly to our team and program.  She has continued to work hard and do what has been asked of her wherever she is put on the field.  She has played most outfield positions, as well as shortstop, second base, and first base in the infield.  She will provide us power in the line up as well.  August has become a true team player and set a great example for the players around her. Carlyn is a quiet leader.   She leads with integrity and grace and can always be counted on to be on time, show up ready to go and put in work.  Carlyn works hard to play whichever part the team needs to be successful.  She will take on any task and do it to the best of her ability, always keeping the success of the team a priority.  Carlyn leads in the classroom and on the field.

Kamrey Hendricks and Jayden Sexton – Silo

Kam is one of those kids that leaves it all on the field. Her hustle, effort, and attitude are amazing. Jayden is an incredible young lady who always does the right thing. She is a selfless person who always puts the other person first.

Adysen Collison, Rye Bollman and Raeley Harmon – Waukomis

Outstanding Freshman season, that gets overlooked because of the offensive talent that is around her. Great defensive infielder, and can hit to all fields and has shown some flashes of power as well at the plate! She’s not flashy, but she’s consistent and talented! Rye is very involved in many activities at Waukomis, and she’s passionate about FFA! She’s an impact player in softball & is very important to our FFA program as well! Great kid from a great family! Raeley had an outstanding 2024 Spring for the Lady Chiefs, and pitched our team into the State Tournament for the first time in 21 years! Raeley is one of our hardest workers and puts extra time into being a slowpitch pitcher, but also to be a force at the plate! She’s been putting in additional reps during basketball season, so she will be ready to go once slowpitch begins!

Raeley always comes to practice and games with a positive attitude and is a great

leader to look up to for our younger players!

Ava Wall, Iree Davidson and Emalea Hicks – Ringwood

Ava is a great kid who is a positive role model to all the younger players. Iree is involved in many activities at Ringwood. She puts a lot of time and effort into showing and softball. Emalea is a young talent who is a leader on and off the field. She always had high energy during practice and often sets the tone for us.

Gracie Barron and Karis Miller – Pittsburg

Gracie is our hardest working player on the field, whether it’s during practice or a game. She is willing to put in the extra work and is a great role model for younger players. Karis is just joining us this spring for the time in my tenure but she displays a great amount of character within the program. She is always there and works very hard with respect to all others involved in the program.

Mylee Bruce – Gore

Freshman pitcher Mylee Bruce is bringing a strong work ethic and positive attitude to the Gore Lady Pirates this season. In addition to her contributions on the softball field, Mylee is an active member of FFA, where her leadership skills and dedication shine. Her ability to balance academics, FFA, and athletics speaks volumes about her commitment and determination. I’m excited to see Mylee’s growth this season and the impact she’ll have both on and off the field.

Sophie Kuhlman and Kelsie Daniel – Westmoore

Sophie is a sophomore outfielder/1st baseman. Last year as a freshman, she played more of a utility role and contributed mostly in the EH spot driving in runs. Sophie is strong, hits for power, and has really learned to place the ball where she wants it – and when she connects, she hits it hard. Outside her softball abilities, she is one of the best kids in the program. She is quiet, keeps her head down, and works hard. She isn’t flashy, isn’t selfish, but has changed the game for us on several occasions with one swing of her bat. She flies under most people’s radar but is one of the most consistent players and leaders on our team. She will be something to watch in years to come. Kelsie is always the kid that does what is right on and off the field. She is someone that her teammates confide in and trust, and she is their biggest fan whether she is on the field or in the dugout. While also being their biggest fan, she also holds them accountable to the standards of our program. These types of kids are harder and harder to come by – she is very selfless and doesn’t seem to care who gets the credit. I am a firm believer that character far outweighs success and winning. Character is something you can take with you for life, and Kelsie exemplifies outstanding leadership, integrity, and great character each and every day. So proud she is a Jaguar.

Harlee Ashford and Sarah Barbee – Bixby

Harlee keeps our team positive in many ways- with her spirit and her creative ideas for keeping the team’s energy high.  She is positive and uplifting, a huge asset to our team! Sarah is a senior who has maintained excellent character throughout her career.  Wins, losses, ups and downs she is consistent at doing the right thing and bringing the right attitude.  She is a phenomenal teammate, sister and student.

Jessie Ammann and Jordyn Cook – Jenks

She is a junior, and is our most unselfish player in the entire program.  She grew up a catcher and infielder, but we needed her to play in the outfield early in her career, so she did.  Last season, I was looking for a backup pitcher in slow pitch and she took on the responsibility.  She was never once told that she had to stay after and work on being a pitcher, she took it upon herself to stay every day until she turned into a really good pitcher. Very active in her church and youth group.  She does a fantastic job of leading by example.  Her hard work and mentorship of the younger players is a key component of who she is.  She is not one to cut corners, and always pushes her teammates into being better with her kind encouraging words.

Kenzie Denny and Karmandy Marsheck – Bartlesville

Kenzie has been a solid contributor to our team as a freshmen and sophomore.  She is a very consistent player on both the offensive and defensive end for us.  She is a great teammate and a good dugout contributor.  Kenzie is willing to step into whatever role is needed within the team and give her best effort regardless of what is asked of her. Karmandy is a sophomore within our program.  She is our only player currently that only does slow-pitch and not fast-pitch since she is involved in other activities within our school.  Karmandy brings a lot of energy to our program and can bring life to any practice or game for us.

Maddyson Whitmore and Hannah Santos – MacArthur

Senior Maddyson Whitmore, now in her third season with the Lady Highlanders, has become an invaluable asset to the team. Although she joined the squad as a late addition during her sophomore year, her impact was immediate, and she has only grown stronger since. Maddyson has consistently improved both offensively and defensively, working hard to hone her skills and prove her reliability in tough positions. Her coachable attitude, commitment to the team, and leadership qualities make her a standout player and a true example of dedication and teamwork. Hannah Santos is a remarkable junior whose dedication and commitment extend far beyond the softball field. Not only has she given countless hours to the Lady Highlander softball program, but she also excels in numerous other areas of involvement, including being a member of the National Honor Society, president of the MacArthur High School Unified Partner’s Club, and a member of the MacArthur Athletic Advisory Council. In addition, she contributes to the Highlanderette dance team and attends concurrent college classes at Cameron University, all while working at Crowning Around, a local dress shop. Hannah’s ability to balance such a demanding schedule is a testament to her strong work ethic, leadership, and commitment to everything she pursues.

Makayla Harjo and Kadie Jo Tidwell – Eufaula

Makayla has pitched for our slowpitch squad the past two seasons which was her freshman and sophomore years and did a great job. Kadie is a great player for us and an outstanding young lady. She is a super hard worker and is very active in our FFA program where she is a part of their officer team. Kadie is a great player for us and an outstanding young lady. She is a SR this year and has a very high moral compass. She helps lead us by example both on and off the field and is always willing to do whatever is needed for our team.

Josie Walker, Maggie Wilson, Steeli Mitchel and Maddie Gray  – Tecumseh

Brekyn is a selfless player. She is always willing to help out her teammates and the first one to pick them up. She’s a vocal leader for us on and off of the field. She loves the game and is always seeking ways to improve. She supports the entire program and always puts the team first. Maddie is the ultimate player. She helps lead the team and is always positive and uplifting. She is the player who is always doing the right thing no matter who is or who is not watching. She leads by example and always strives to provide the best overall experience for all involved.

Reece Fixico – Mustang

Reece is a sophomore for us this spring. I chose Reece for this recognition because she is a kid that has outstanding character, a relentless work ethic, and has shown to be a great teammate. Although she is just a sophomore, she has a powerful voice within our team. We expect Reece to compete for a spot in the OF for us this season.

Jaylin Johnson and Kenzie Bonotto – Central High

Jaylin is a senior who missed out on the fastpitch season due to a knee injury.  She is a utility player who has a big bat and we look forward to having her  back on the field. Kenzie is a quiet senior leader both on and off the field.  She is a hard worker with great character.

Melannie Townes and Macy Griffith – Cushing

Mel is a senior on our team who also shows pigs and has a lot of success in the barn. Macy is a young lady who works extremely hard on and off the field. She takes a lot of pride in everything she does. She strives to do it the right way all the time and is most definitely a young lady who loves to be coached.

Teagen Hambright – Cleveland

Teagen does not have a bad day. At least she doesn’t show it. She is the biggest cheerleader whether it’s just her or the entire team cheering. She keeps us hype and in the game. She’s a great kid that gives a lot of effort on the field and puts the team’s needs first.

Tori Fisher and Baylie Harig – Mounds

Tori is the only returning senior. Plays hard and brings leadership to the team. Baylie- Solid player and student.

Liz Waltrip and Mia Fruits – Bristow

Liz has been a huge part of our success the last two years as a freshman and sophomore. Not only is she a great talent but she is, without a doubt, our hardest worker and most determined individual we have. She is someone who gets around 20,000 swings in a calendar year. She does all of the little things right and sets an example as a player and person  for her peers and our younger kids that will be coming through the program. You wish you had 20 just like her. Mia is a senior and one of the captains on our team. Mia is heavily involved in our school and her church. She is always one of our leaders during our little kid camp and takes control of a lot of things during that event to help me out. A big part of the opportunities she has been given is because of the type of person she is and what she values. It has translated into hard work which has then turned into a talented player. Mia is open and expressive in her faith and that is a big part of what we base our team values and culture on.

Sherlin Soto-Gomez and Nicole Anderson – Crooked Oak

She is quiet but very in tune with the team’s feelings and energy. She works hard for the team and does everything with them in mind. The truest team player!! Nicole is the best physical athlete on the team but if you want to have something done Ms. 4.0 is that person. We as a team and me as a coach can count on her to be the best version of herself.

Shysie Harjo – Varnum

Shysie is a senior who can play all positions and will without question. She has a good glove and bat, she makes the routine plays time after time.

Kaley Floyd, Lena Hampton and Lillie Garrison – Shidler

If you need a job done Kaley is going to find a way to do it. She makes things happen. She is one of the first to the field and the last one to leave. She is going to work hard to know how to do whatever is asked of her. Lena is a strong hard working kid. She works at managing her time between showing and playing sports. I can always count on Lillie to do the right thing on the field and off the field. She is a very respectful kid that does the extra to make sure she is doing the right thing.

Jordan Cox, Blakely DeMuth and Emma Loree – Perkins-Tryon

Jordan moves from catcher in fastpitch to second or the outfield in slowpitch for us and does a fantastic job of leading from wherever she plays. Last year her and Landry made an amazing pair up the middle for us in the infield and most likely that is where she will return this spring. At the plate Jordan is a threat with both power and hitting the gaps. She is as steady as they come and we are looking forward to the impact she is going to have on this young group this season. Blakely is a freshman in our program but looks to play a valuable role for us this year. She is a great kid that stays busy with raising and showing pigs, and doing speech contests for FFA. She is also on the cheer squad for our school. Blakely is a leader in every facet of life, and I think that is a role she will continue to grow in thanks to her involvement in FFA and athletics. Emma is a kid that steps up in any role that she is given and simply leads by example. A student who is heavily involved in FFA as well as athletics, she maintains a high GPA and good standing despite being one of the busiest students in the school. I am thankful to have a leader like Emma on my team.

Macyn Thomas and Kate Bentley – Pond Creek-Hunter

Definition of a great teammate and leader. Genna is active in a lot of extracurricular activities. She shows animals in FFA and 4H. She is on the FFA officer team and also plays softball year-round. Genna has an extremely good work ethic, and she is a good teammate. Kiara’s character and mentorship is awesome. She has a big heart and cares for a lot of people. Especially on her softball team. Shiloh is a freshman middle infielder.  She will provide much needed defense up the middle.  Shiloh has great range and a strong arm and has the potential to be a great player.

Neely House – Silo

Neely hit .564 last year and should improve on that this year. She also has lots of pop.

Aleah Melson – Waukomis

Aleah is our most dangerous offensive weapon, as you can see with her freshman season stats!!! Not only can she hit for power, she’s our fastest runner as well. Primarily played third base for us last year, she will see some time in the outfield as well this spring, as we shift people around to make our defense even better than we were in 2024!

Peyton Roberts – Ringwood

Peyton is stepping up into a leadership role as a freshman. She pushes her teammates to be their best.

Maisa is a talented young player that can play any position she is asked to play. She has tremendous potential as an athlete and I am excited to see how she develops in our softball program.

Hallie Brewer – Gore

I am expecting freshman Hallie Brewer to step up in a big way. Hallie has shown incredible promise with her consistent hitting and versatility on defense, making her a key addition to the team. Her work ethic and determination have impressed both her teammates and the coaching staff. I’m confident she’ll play a significant role in helping us compete this year while continuing to grow as a player.

Matti Townley – Westmoore

Matti is a sophomore outfielder. She was out most of the spring season last year with a broken wrist but has come back stronger than ever. She is a great outfielder who reads the ball well off the bat and has speed to run things down in gaps. At the plate, she knows the game and does a great job placing the ball where needed to be able to give us a baserunner or score a run. She leads by example and continues to work hard and grow as a player and athlete on the field and in the weight room. I’m excited to see what her future holds.

Teylor Hedges – Jenks

She is a freshman third baseman.  She came on strong in fast pitch and we are expecting big things from her going forward.  Was fourth on the team in RBI during fast pitch.

Madie Nachbor – Bartlesville

Madie has made great strides in the last year on all ends of her game.  She has become a much more consistent hitter for us and is developing into one of our main offensive players.  Her leadership as an underclassmen has come a long way since last year and she has developed into a solid leader and communicator in our program.

Kaydence White – Lawton MacArthur

Kaydence White, a freshman new to MacArthur High School this year, has quickly made a name for herself as a dynamic athlete. After making an immediate impact with the fast-pitch team in the fall, the expectations for her performance in the slow-pitch season this spring are equally high. Known for her incredible work ethic, Kaydence dedicates herself to improving outside of practice, and her commitment to excellence raises the level of play for everyone around her. As a teammate, she is always smiling, cheering, and encouraging others, using her confidence and positive energy to inspire her peers to be their best.

She brings a great attitude and work ethic everyday. I’m looking forward to continuing to watch her grow and develop.

Joleigh Adams – Central High

Joleigh is a freshman and was our fast pitch catcher.  She is a great utility player with a little pop in her bat.

Ava Hebensperger – Cushing

Ava is a sophomore and has a strong bat and should be a big offensive threat in slowpitch season this year. Ava recently moved back to Cushing this fall and had a successful fall season playing third base and putting up good offensive numbers.

Khloe Carter – Cleveland

Khloe Carter is a very strong individual. No matter what the game or life throws at her, she gives it her all and never complains. Khloe is a competitor. She’s the kind of kid you want on your team. As a freshman, she has a nasty change up and hits spots consistently in fastpitch. As she continues to grow and get faster as a pitcher, we as coaches could not be more proud of Khloe and are grateful that she wears Cleveland. I’m most excited to see what she can do in the batters box for slowpitch. She has great hand eye coordination and is working on walking through the pitch.

Skylar is a freshman who made an immediate impact at shortstop, replacing one of our most decorated athletes in the history of our school. She is an extremely athletic player who can run, hit for power, play great defense, and makes good decisions in every part of the game. Skylar will hit in the top half of the lineup just like she did this fall. We look for her to be a gap to gap hitter and put herself in scoring position for others to drive her in. She will be someone to watch out for the next three years.

Nicole Valdez – Crooked Oak

This is a natural athlete with strength and an amazing attitude. She sports one of the best smiles on the team and she can get them fired up!!

Karsyn Lowry – Varnum

An instant impact player for our team. She was an incoming freshman during fastpitch, which matured quickly on the field. Karsyn has excellent speed and a good glove to cover ground in the outfield. She is a top of the lineup kind of hitter with decent power at the plate. Karsyn will be a constant in the lineup for years to come.

Jenna Benson – Shidler

Jenna is a very coachable kid. She works hard and is always willing to put in extra work to get better. She is very solid at first base and will do some pitching for us this year as well. I am expecting big things from her at the plate. She has continued to put work in during the off season.

Landry Shepherd – Perkins-Tryon

Landry got her feet wet last year playing slowpitch for the first time and was really figuring it out at the plate towards the end of the season. She has gotten stronger in the last year and looks to be more of a power threat this year to add with her great instincts at the plate. Defensively she will continue to command the infield from short stop.

Hadlee Merriott – Pond Creek-Hunter

She hits with a lot of power. All-Conference selection in fast pitch, a lot of potential

Lainey Ford – Stuart

Lainey has an extremely good work ethic and always does extra. She is the starting SS for us as a freshman and that’s saying something.
