Warner Lady Eagles Basketball Team

WARNER LADY EAGLES

GIRLS

Coach: MINDI PETERS

23-24 Record: 19-8

The Warner Lady Eagles are entering the 2024 season with a fresh perspective and a hunger to prove themselves after graduating three key seniors. Head coach Mindi Peters describes the team as young, energetic, and determined. “This group is not afraid of hard work and feels like they have something to prove,” Peters said. “We’re excited about the upcoming season.” Returning to lead the Lady Eagles is junior forward Kambree Ellis (6-0, Jr.), who has been a standout in the offseason. Known for her size and versatility, Ellis has expanded her skill set, focusing on ball-handling and extending her shooting range to the three-point line. She is poised to play a major role on both ends of the court. Another key player is junior guard Adysen Dishman (5-6, Jr.), whose work ethic and ability to create opportunities make her invaluable. Dishman is a strong ball handler and one of the Lady Eagles’ hardest-working defenders, a testament to her determination and leadership. Stormi Lynch (5-4, Jr.) will also aid on offense. Sophomore guard Emercyn Baldridge (5-6, So.) is a rising star for Warner. A sharpshooter from beyond the arc, Baldridge’s shooting ability and overall athleticism are expected to be vital assets this season.

Junior forward Ava Peters (5-9, Jr.) brings a positive presence to the team, consistently lifting up her teammates and stepping up when needed. Her dedication and effort make her a cornerstone of the Lady Eagles’ culture.

The roster also features a mix of promising underclassmen who bring depth and energy to the team. Sophomores like Ella Labounty (5-6, So.), a multisport athlete with a strong work ethic, and Zoey Armstrong (5-11, So.), a skilled post player, will look to contribute significantly. Sophomores Abby Marks (5-4, So.), Addison Upton (5-6, So.) and Bella Henson (5-9, So.) are set to make an impact this season. Freshmen guards such as Aubri Franco (5-4, Fr.), Paycee Siebert (5-3, Fr.), Kylee Crow (5-5, Fr.) and Jacie Teague (5-5, Fr.), provide a glimpse into the team’s future potential.

The Lady Eagles’ focus on aggressive defense and hard work will be central to their success this season. With a blend of young talent and strong returning players, Warner aims to build on last year’s success and make their mark in 2024.
