Aurora Madewell and Hailey Prince – Checotah
Has had a great month of August hitting .450 with an OBP of .511. Just a sophomore but she’s been the silent leader type for us all year at the plate. Defensively she’s been a lock at 3rd base with 20 chances, 17 put outs and 2 assists.
Hailey has made us go in the circle winning 8. She has 95 strike outs so far in August. As a senior she’s been getting the majority of our games and posting a 2.0 ERA.

Dally Engle – Stigler
PA 56 – AB 30 – AVG 567 – OBP 750 – OPS 1.717 – SLG. 967 – H 17 – HR 4 – RBI 17 – BB 17 – HBP 8
Dally has had 7 intentional walks this month but has taken advantage of the pitches she has seen. She also has been one of the best defensive players in the state.

Sophie O’Connor – Gore
This month Sophie has led the team in batting avg. with a .357 avg. She really excels in the infield at her position of 2nd base, but she can play multiple positions. She is tough to get out when she is running the bases and has a very high softball IQ. Sophie is the type of player that will play through any sickness or injury and is a player that shows up everyday and puts in work and helps lead our team, even though she is just a sophomore. She makes my job as a coach much easier and is just a great kid to be around and have on our team.

Kate Pippenger – Eufaula
SR – SS – 12 games played in August – .757 AVG, 28 Hits, 7 2B’s , 3 3B’s, 3 HR, 14 RBI’s, 13 SB’s, 0 K’s
1 Error in 26 chances for a .962 Fielding Percentage
Kate has seen the ball really well and has been very patient at the plate. Looking for the pitch she wants to hit and hitting it hard! She has also been very solid defensively with a lot of range at SS.

Emma Hackler – Poteau
Emma Hackler would be our August player of the month. The following is our ace pitcher and leadoff hitter stats for the month of August 2024:

Fire Clark – Morris
She has pitched every game. Has 100% fielding avg and is batting over .400.

Aryland Jiles – Central Sallisaw
Senior pitcher/catcher that does a little bit of everything for her team. She is a great competitor that will be playing softball next year at the next level.

Paizlee Zodrow – Keys
Paizlee offensively – BA .467, OBP .610, Doubles 2, HR 2, SB 10
Defensively has been solid and committed just 1 error on the season. Paizlee has made her impact on both sides of the ball. Having a solid offensive season while simultaneously showing that defensively she’s an elite level player.

Gabbie Price – Gans
She is a senior leader on the Gans Lady Grizzlies team and has a huge heart for the game and her teammates. Her athleticism is unmatched and she currently holds a .545 batting average, including 6 triples and 19 runs.
