VYPE: What sports do you play?
J.R. Robertson: Football, basketball and baseball
VYPE: Who are some of your biggest influences or role models? Why?
JR: My parents, because they’ve stuck by my side for all four years of high school throughout all sports.
VYPE: What has been the highlight moment of your career?
JR: All the moments in the locker room were always funny to me.
VYPE: Is there an opponent that you enjoy beating the most? Why?
JR: I wouldn’t say there is one because I’m just enjoying my time out there while I can.
VYPE: What motivates you?
JR: Mountain Dew and energy drinks.
VYPE: Which teammate do you enjoy working against the most with in practice? Why?
JR: Jeffery Tiger/Manley because we’re always laughing while doing it.
VYPE: What teacher has had the biggest impact on your life? How?
JR: I would say all my coaches because they’ve taught me the game.
VYPE: What are your plans after high school?
JR: Go to O.S.U.I.T. and join the heating and air conditioning program.
VYPE: What does it mean to you to represent your school and community when you play?
JR: It means a lot, especially having some of the elementary students looking up to me. So, to me, it means a lot.
